War Is Lonely

Black Night opened his eyes to shouting and screaming, he was on a battlefield.

"I-it was just a dream." Black whispered

Black Night had a huge smile on his face as he got up retrieved his dual Bastard swords and his Iron armour and headed out onto the battlefield. Black Night was leading the attack and ran headfirst into the defence and slaughtered them all, blood was all over him covering him from head to toe. Headless corpses littered the battlefield while he still ran on towards the city. It was there he came upon the undefeated Spartan battalion thousands of soldiers trained from birth how to kill and fight, they were the best of the best.

"Halt, surrender and we will not kill you." The Spartan leader said.

"Only one of us is getting out alive... I am going to let you guess who that is!" Black Night screamed as he ran forth to the Spartan leader

Black Night ran forward the Spartan was still alive. Night then heated up his swords on a nearby fire ready to burn the wound. As Black Night got close the other Spartans backed off and left their leader, Black then smashed his swords into the wound and stayed there for two minutes torturing the Spartan. He heard pleas of 'stop', and, 'we will surrender!'. After the wound was cauterized by the heat and the Spartan stopped screaming in pain Black Night withdrew his swords and then proceeded to cut of his legs only this time he hit a artery which cause blood to gush out from the wound and the Spartan to turn pale. But Black Night wasn't finished, he then burnt the wound again for two minutes before finally cutting the Spartans head off.

"WHO'S NEXT!" Black screamed while drenched in blood.

The Spartans then foolishly charged Black Night who smiled at their antics, which then he proceeded to cut off the arms, heads and legs off any enemy soldiers that got in his way. All the while a dark blue alicorn with a starry mane looked upon the battlefield in horror at the lives lost and the brutality committed, Luna threw up mentally when Black burnt the wounds of the first Spartan and then silence filled the air as a last 'clank' sounded from the fallen soldiers armour. Black then looked up to the moon to scream, but his eyes caught Luna watching him from above mortified at his actions. Black Night's face dropped into a frown as he passed out and woke up.

SUNRISE

As Black Night woke up he looked around his room for any intruders before deciding that there was none, he then jumped out of bed and decided to get dressed because he was naked. Now for a human and a god Black Night was quite big at a huge ten inches fully erect, but compared to the horses and ponies of this world he was very small because a stallions member was, at it's shortest, twelve inches and at it's biggest around twenty-two inches. Before he could get dressed he heard a noise no man or god for that matter wants to hear when your naked, the door creaked open and Black Night turned around. Luna was in the doorway staring downwards all the while her face was turning redder than that huge red stallion he saw in the crowd at ponyville.

"Oh... we are sorry we will take our leave now..." Luna said trying to control her blush while backing out.

"It is fine Luna, just a misunderstanding. I was about to go bathe anyway so even if you came in twenty minutes later I would still be naked." Black Night said trying not to blush but failing horribly and his face going red.

As Luna began to back out of the room a yellow flash indicated another pony had teleported into his room. It was Celestia, she started to speak but was promptly halted due to the nature of what was happening.

"Oh two princesses and a god how interesting, wonder how this will play out." Black Night said with a smirk aimed at the other two in the room while controlling his blush.

"Not meaning to be rude but your kind of sm-" Celestia started but stopped when she saw the face Black was pulling. "Ahh sensitive subject... sorry?"

"Good thing you didn't finish that sentence and you said sorry otherwise another eclipse would of happened for the record this is big back In my world." Black smirked while walking to the bath and saw they were still staring at his flaccid member, "Going to join me or are you going to leave your guest alone." He finished with his head tilted to the side with puppy dog eyes.

"We- uh well, I don't think..." Luna started while sputtering out her words.

Black Night just laughed, "I'm just joking you two... but seriously that starry mane looks like it's fit for a goddess." Black finished as he locked the door to the bathroom.

All the while the regal white alicorn fell on her side laughing so much from that comment while Luna just stood there, broken and processing what happened. In Luna's head she is thinking 'Doth he love me or is it jokes', and, 'That was the first genuine compliment I have ever heard regarding my physique.' Celestia soon stopped laughing and looked to her little sister in worry.

"Tia we are going to go to our room we need to think this over." Luna said looking shocked.

"Lulu, are you ok?" Celestia said a bit louder than she wanted.

"Ahh, nicknames. Hey Lulu and Tia, Lulu is best pony." Black said telling the truth while behind the door.

"I-I am best pony?" Luna says as she turned around to look at Celestia with a dropped jaw.

"Yep, why would I joke about that... you've been the nicest to me since I arrived here why wouldn't I think that." Black said Luna only barely hearing.

"Oh... Black we need to talk about that dream you had last night."

At that comment the two rooms went silent, but before anyone could leave Celestia closed the door and locked it.

"Black Night can you come out please... preferably dressed." Celestia said.

"Tia? What are you doing?" Luna asked.

"Just wait Luna let him explain." Celestia said with a small frown.

Luna never talked about the dreams of her subjects before, but something was wrong and Celestia knew it. Black Night walked out of the Bathroom with his Iron armour on, the staff took the courtesy of cleaning his armour of mud and sweat.

"So Tia w-" Black started.

"Don't call me Tia I don't trust you yet! Now tell me what this dream was about, and don't say nothing Luna because you never talked about them before so why now?" Celestia said angrily.

"Fine sister... I will explain." Luna started. "I was experiencing difficulty getting into Black's dreams so I kept pushing but his mind wanted me to stay out, but I managed to push through. I was mortified on what I saw I-it was a-a battlefield I-I... I can't say It." Luna said while in tears.

"Let me look in your mind sister so I can see what you saw." Celestia said.

Celestia then touched horns with Luna and Celestia's face went from a small frown to a horrified expression because of what she saw. Celestia then gagged and rushed to the toilet and vomited. When Celestia came back her face was still a bit green. Black had a neutral expression on his face that nerved Celestia a bit.

"H-how... how can you kill like that, and think it's nothing?" Celestia asked with a hoarse voice.

"It's second nature to me it's in my blood to kill." Black Night said with a still neutral expression.

"S-second nature... wh-" Celestia started

"I am a god of war like my father... not just god of the moon as well Celestia." Black Night explained.

"God of war... you kill for fun?" Celestia asked.

"No I kill to keep the balance, but I did find pleasure in it...Ever since my mother died." Black Night said whispering the last part.

"What did you say Black Night?" both Luna and Celestia asked.

"I said ever since my mother died." Black spoke up.

The room went silent again as both of the alicorns saw tears falling onto the floor. Celestia stayed where she was thinking over what had just happened, Luna on the other hand went over the Black and enveloped him in a hug. Luna felt her coat getting slightly damp from Black's tears.

"I'm sorry Black I shouldn't have judged you so quickly, I must leave now and take to the day court... although Black if you feel like you're up to it would you mind accompanying Luna with her to the night court? This is the first time she has done it in a millennia." Celestia asked.

"Of course, I just need some space right now." Black stated.

"Goodbye Black... come on Luna." Celestia said.

"N-no it's fine let her stay... from what I have heard she sleeps during the day, plus I wouldn't mind a little company." Night said with a small smile.

"Of course, we will stay with you friend." Luna said while shedding her own tears.

Celestia left the room and left Luna and Black Night on their own, Black and Luna talked for hours until it was an hour from Sun-down and Moon-rise.

"Come on Black lets go for a explore around the castle." Luna said like a foal.

"Of course... Lulu." Black said while smirking.

"Oh! You are EVIL." Luna whispered to Black.

"Where are we going Lulu?" Night said while still smirking.

"Well anywhere the halls take us really... Blacky." Luna giggled but Black stopped in his tracks.

"L-Luna please don't call me that..." Black said with a hoarse voice.

"What is wrong friend... please tell me that I haven't upset you." Luna said as she noticed small tears in his eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry."

"It's fine lets walk... hmm do you have a garden here?" Black asked.

"Of course but lets explore first, new rooms may have been added. I haven't been here in a-" Luna started.

"Millennia, I know." Black finished rolling his eyes.

"Hey stop it." Luna said while pouting.

"D'aww can't say no to that face." Black said cheerfully.

"It is good to see you feeling better friend!" Luna exclaimed happily.

As the pair walked into a hallway with lots of windows and some of them were stained glass that depicted stories.

"Hey Luna what is with these stained glass windows?" Black asked.

"Well I know two of them, that one over there shows me and Celestia defeating Discord spirit of chaos. And the one was when... Celestia banished me to the moon." Luna finished with a hoarse voice.

"Hey Luna... It's in the past now your safe. Nightmare Moon is gone, what's that third one?" Black asked.

"Oh the third one depicts the six element bearers turning me back into Luna." Luna explained.

"See? Your you now not some horrible villain, your a princess who Equestria will come to love." Black explained.

"Oh, smooth talker are you? Trying to butter me up? Well it's true I'm not Nightmare Moon anymore, but the memories still haunt me..." Luna said with a sad tone.

"Come now Lulu none of that... look it's time for the moon to come up lets go." Black said beckoning Luna to come with him.

The two went to a balcony to raise the moon.

"Black?" Luna asked.

"Hmm?" Black replied.

"Raise the moon with me?" Luna asked.

"Of course whatever makes you happy." Black accepted.

The two of them together raised the Moon from Luna's room balcony the moon was at it's brightest it had been in a millennia the princess of the night had finally come home. With the moon raised Luna turned to black.

"Black, can you face us please?" Luna asked politely.

"Of course Luna. What is- mmpf!" Black started but with her magic Luna pulled Black into a kiss.

There the two night beings kissed, until they could kiss no more. Their love was planned for in the stars...
