War Is Lonely

As Black Night came to his senses and woke up he was surprised that he wasn't on the floor, nor was he in the clouds he seemed to be levitating above eight coloured ponies. His body was surrounded by a warm yellow glow that gave off a beautiful heat, he tried to make himself not be noticed, which worked, then he looked at the ponies with horns and the big white pony with wings and horns he remembered to be Celestia had a bright yellow glow around her horn so he assumed it was her who was carrying him.

"AHEM!" Black started startling the ponies, "Can you put me down please?"

Black Night was then dropped onto his back causing him to yelp and groan in pain. Night then quickly recovered and ran through the trees once he was certain they didn't see him any more he shifted into his wolf form so they didn't recognize him. Black Night let out a terrifying growl causing seven of the eight ponies to go 'AHH' then he revealed himself to the eight other ponies and started growling menacingly. Then a yellow Pegasus flew towards him and Black barked to the Pegasus to 'Fuck Off'.

"Such language!" the yellow Pegasus said causing him to turn his head to one side as if to say 'how did you understand me'.

"Flutters get away from that... uh what is it?" the blue Pegasus said.

Night then barked the word 'wolf' towards the group.

"Ahh so your a wolf are you?" the yellow Pegasus whispered.

Black Night then decided not to stall any longer and turned back into his human form startling all the ponies except the semi-dark blue pony with wings and horn. The yellow Pegasus fainted which caused her body to be dragged back to the group and for the blue Pegasus to come charging and Black Night while kicking her hooves out, the Pegasus came close to landing a hit but before she could Night grabbed her hooves, shoved them down then, leaving her face vulnerable he elbowed the Pegasus in the face. Black then regained his composure into a non-hostile stance. But the ponies didn't seem to get it and so the big white pony flared her wings as, what Black Night presumed to be, a battle stance. The white pony then charged at Black Night while charging her magic, just as the white pony got close Black prepared to dodge until a VERY loud voice shouted 'STOP'.

"Don't hurt each other!" the pony he remembered to be Luna shouted glaring at the two of them while they were both frozen staring at Luna.

"St-stop... you want me to stop after it harmed one of my little ponies sister!" Celestia shouted while shooting daggers at Black with her eyes.

"Sister, be calm it was merely acting in self defence you can surely see that or would you rather kill him and be done with it?" Luna barked back.

"I-I... ugh your right Luna... I princess Celestia sincerely apologize for my behaviour but expect me to be like this when one of my subjects has fainted and the other knocked out by your hands." Celestia apologized.

"And I too Μαύρη νύχτα god of war and the moon, apologize for being threatening and hurting one of your subjects in self defence." Black Night apologized as well.

All was silent after Black had said those words 'Μαύρη νύχτα and god of war and moon'. Celestia's face had one of shock and judging by the faces of others they were clearly confused too, not at him but at their princess for being stunned.

"G-god... your a god?" Celestia whispered.

"Yes... and I'm over three-thousand and four-hundred years old. Is there a problem here because I don't follow?" Black Night said explaining himself.

"I-It can't be... the prophecy is true..." Celestia whispered so only that I and Luna could hear.

Celestia then proceeded to faint today being too much for her because her sister had returned to her after one-thousand years, being banished on the sun for twelve hours and meeting a god who was part of a prophecy that could decide the fate of Equis forever.

"I'm going to guess and say that is not normal..." Black spoke up.

"Nay... this is most unusual, sister doth not faint unless she be overwhelmed." Luna finished.

"I am going to do something stupid... don't stop me ok?" Black asked and the other seven agreed because the other two had woken up both pegasi to have looks of shock on their face.

Black then proceeded to slap Celestia on the flank which made her bolt upright and then say, "HEY SUNBUTT, YOUR ASS IS CAUSING AN ECLIPSE MOVE IT!" Black shouted getting looks of shock from the other seven.

Then Luna spoke up, "What hath you done, you have procured the wrath of Celestia...no-one dares say anything about her flank less touch it otherwise they 'disappear for a day' and return with looks of horror donned on their faces." Luna whispered just so we all could hear it.

"Oh... Shiiiiiiit, RUN!" Black shouted trying to run but being grabbed and brought before Celestia in a warm yellow glow.

"What... did you say about my flank?" Celestia asked with a whisper.

Black scoffed and then shouted, "I SAID, HEY SUNBUTT, YOUR ASS IS CAUSING AN ECLIPSE MOVE IT!"

"HOW DARE THEE SAY SUCH RUDE THINGS ABOUT MY POSTIRE-" Celestia started but was interrupted with a sword to her horn.

"I dare thee, princess Sun butt, to squash me and see what happens..." Black Night said with a menacing glare.

Celestia had a look of fear on her face, but that soon washed away as she heard laughter come from two voices.

"Oh dear sister *giggle* he doth make me laugh don't you think." Luna said while trying to supress full blown laughter.

"OH MAN! The look on your face was priceless! 'HOW DARE THEE SAY SUCH RUDE THINGS ABOUT MY POSTIRE- By Ares I haven't laughed like this in a millennia!" Black Night said balling with laughter as Celestia released her magic grip with a stunned expression.

The other six ponies looked on the verge of tears or laughter at the possible death of their beloved monarch, but also at the sheer hilarity of this situation.

"Dear sister you cannot blame my friend here, it's not his fault you were in that situation." Luna said managing to hold down more giggles.

"Y-yes well I-I... Come now let us get to ponyville." Celestia said flustered.

"Of course princess." said the other six ponies in unison.

Then not but a second after starting walking everyone burst into laughing.

"What is so funny?" Celestia demanded.

"What Black said is true *giggle* you 'ass' does cause and eclipse." Luna blurted out causing everyone to start howling in laughter and for Celestia's cheeks to burn a bright red colour.

ONE TEDIOUS WALK LATER

As the now group of nine walked into the middle of ponyville everyone started whooping and cheering in glee that Celestia was back and had saved them all from Nightmare Moon, but as soon as they saw Black Night at the back of the group the cheering died down and everyone started to have looks of bewilderment on their faces which said, 'What is that', 'Is It from the Everfree', 'Send it away now'. Black Night tried to ignore the looks he was getting. Usually when he got these looks he would slaughter everyone, but seeing as he was trying to be friendly he kept smiling and tried to get them to like him.

"What is wrong friend?" Luna asked.

"*exhale* It's their looks... they are basically saying I'm a monster." Black responded.

"Don't worry," Luna giggled, "you will have a chance to explain yourself when Tia tells them what happened." Luna finished with a smile.

"Your right Luna." Black said with a cheery tone.

As Celestia walked up to the podium she started speaking to the ponies of ponyville saying that Nightmare Moon was vanquished by the elements of harmony and that Nightmare Moon was Luna being controlled. Then the ponies started shouting and saying 'why is the moon still up if Nightmare Moon is gone', Celestia responded by trying to lower the moon and raise the sun but to no avail, then Celestia came up to Black Night.

"Why is the moon still up?" Celestia whispered.

"Ohhh, sorry I locked the moon up I will lower it for you." Black said while his hands glowed a ethereal white causing ponies to stare and then when the moon started to lower everyone gasped and looked at me.

By then Celestia was raising the sun, by the time she was finished she was trying to draw attention away from Black Night but to no avail, so Celestia did the only thing she could.

"Black Night why don't you come and explain why you had control over the moon." Celestia said but demanded as well.

"A-are you sure that's a good idea?" Night asked.

"Yes I am sure now go." Celestia said coercing Black Night into speaking.

Black Night then spoke up the crowd, "Hello everypony I am Μαύρη νύχτα or Black Night the god of war and the moon," Ponies started to gasp and even one fainted when Black Night said the words 'god, war and moon', " And I am over three-thousand and four-hundred years old, so yes that was me who lowered the moon." Black Night finished explaining.

Then Black Night got bombarded with questions such as, "If you are a god of war how many have you killed" and "How can you move the moon only alicorns can do that."

To which Black replied truthfully because the princess had told him too. "I have killed hundreds of thousands of enemy soldiers looking to conquer my kingdom... I only killed them in self defence." Black said semi-truthfully.

"Thank you for listening my little ponies, now please go about your business we will be taking our leave back to Canterlot now." Celestia said as she gestured for me to walk towards a golden chariot with two pegasi harnessed to it. As soon as Celestia and Luna Stepped onto another chariot the chariot lurched forward and took to the sky towards Canterlot, leaving Black Night to his thoughts.
