When Life Gives You Rainbows

This is the worst waking you've ever had in your life. The pain is awful. While the bed that you're in is extremely comfy, more than any surface you've ever touched before, the aftermath of your flying practice is beyond awful. You moan a few times at the pain.

"Well, well, well, it looks like Mr. Anon finally woke up," says a cute, raspy voice from behind you. "It's Anon, right?" You can't believe your ears. It's Rainbow Dash. You reply with a simple nod.

Your immediate instinct is to turn over and hug her very tightly, which you almost do, but you immediately refrain. You don't want her to feel confused or uncomfortable, which you probably already did. After a short awkward stare, you close your eyes halfway and give her a very soft hello. You smile at her subconsciously, where she gives you a confused look. It causes you to realize the way you're acting around her and regret it.

Opening your eyes a bit more and slightly raising your voice, you tell her, "I've been a huge fan of you for quite some time. I've always found you to be super awesome." She grins a bit and agrees with what you have stated. So far, she seems pretty OK with you, which is enough to make you happy beyond words. Though, the only way for her to like you at least as a friend is by hanging out and doing things with her.

"So, um, wanna get some cider?" you ask, hoping she accepts. You want to do the things that she likes with her so that she can have fun hanging out with you.

"Sure," she says. "I'll be as fast as I can." You feel kind of bad, as you feel like you just ordered Rainbow to get up, as lazy as a pony she can be sometimes, but she didn't seem very mad about it. She's the fastest pony in Equestria and she said she'll be as fast as she can, but you already miss her a little bit even after only a couple of minutes of seeing her.

You think about her in romantic ways, which is all you can really do to occupy yourself while she's out getting cider. You think about her mane flowing through the wind as you close your eyes, deeply relaxed by the thought, despite your pain that's so bad it's hilarious.
