II - RegretView OnlineLeft With NothingII - RegretAce left the building, looking as if he just lost his world. On the inside, he was torn. He lost his best and only friend. He had the feeling that they could've been something together, now it was all lost. He trotted home hopelessly. He wanted to sleep forever. He collapsed on his bed and fell asleep, although it was midday. He woke up the next morning. He decided that he needed to get over her death, Twilight would never want this. He was going to try to find somepony else. He trotted over to the edge of the Everfree, and knocked on Fluttershy's door. She answered. "Hi Ace, need something?" She greeted. "Yes, a friend." He answered. "I'm one." She replied. "I know." "Where's Twilight?" She asked. "She died." He said. "T-Twilight?" She asked, a tear in her eye. "Yes." He hugged her in the door. Her tears wet his coat. "Come in," she whimpered into his shoulder. Ace trotted into her house. After a bit, she pulled up a chair and poured him a cup of tea. "You two were in a relationship, right?" She asked. "We were." Ace answered. "Sorry about that." She apologized. "Not your fault." He replied.
IV - RomanceView OnlineLeft With NothingIV - RomanceAce left for home and went to sleep again. He woke up. He wondered what Twilight would be thinking. He trotted to her house again. He knocked on her door. She opened the door immediately. He cantered in. This time she had something to give him. She kissed his cheek. His face turned a pink. "I wish I had something else to give, sorry." She said. "It's perfectly fine." He answered, cheeks still rosy. They locked eyes again, this time blushing, yet still staring silently. Fluttershy's cheeks went from a pink to a bright red. It got more intense. They both smiled at each other. She eventually looked away. They talked about whatever came into mind. "Would Twilight want you to move on?" She asked. "I think so, yes." He answered. "Before she... Left, she said she wanted me to know she wouldn't want me to... mourn." He barely said 'mourn'. "Oh. She probably would say something like that." Fluttershy observed. It started getting late. They both trotted outside to watch the sun set together. The sky turned a bright pinkish-orange. The two gazed into each other's eyes again, faces close. They pressed muzzles together, kissing as the night fell. Both their cheeks turned a bright red. Fluttershy's whole face was a shade of pink. Ace chuckled quietly at this, smiling gently. They both laid on the grass. They looked to the sky, the stars aligned as if they were making the shape of Twilight's face, smiling above them. Ace saw this, and shed a tear.

I - Lost RelationsView OnlineLeft With NothingI - Lost RelationsAce trotted to Twilight's library, expecting it would be a normal visit. He knocked on the door. Spike answered, although he wasn't acting how he usually was. "Hey Ace, come in." Spike said, much less emotion in his voice. "What's wrong Spike? Where's Twilight?" Ace asked. "She's in the hospital." He answered. "How is she?" He inquired. "She's doing badly." He replied. "I need to go visit her. See you later." Ace stated. He galloped to the hospital and entered. The nurse at the reception greeted him. "Hello, what can I do for you?" She asked. "I'm here to see Twilight Sparkle." He answered, urgently. "Room 9." She indicated, pointing a hoof toward the right. He thanked her. He cantered to room 9. She was on a breathing machine Ace didn't care to recognize. "A-Ace..." She exhaled. "What happened?" He asked, shocked. "I-I don't know." She sighed out, eyes closed. A doctor came in. "What happened to her?" Ace asked, not thinking about formalities. "We don't know yet, her friend brought her in, it seemed rather urgent." He replied. "Ace... If I die... I want you to know, move on, don't mourn over me." She pleaded. "Please understand that I still love you..." She sighed. She started to cough uncontrollably. The breathing machine pumped in and out harshly as she did. The machine slowed down to a stop. "Twi?" She gasped a final breath.
