Shining Armor looked down with tears still in his eyes as Sidney rubbed his back to comfort him, when all of a sudden something clicked in his mind.

"Wait Sid" he started while looking up at the detective and started to dry his tears. "What if the phone was cloned? cuz I heard you can do that now a days."

Sidney started to think. "You know that could be a possibility, but also guess what tomorrow is." Shining started to think for about a minute or so when it popped into his mind.

"Tomorrow is the day my mother died!"

"Exactly, don't you think he won't go berserk and start a killing spree?"

Shining sighed and started to nod a little. "What are we gonna do to find him?" he asked as Sidney walked to the corner of the store to make sure none of the girls were listening in, while looking she saw them still sitting in Shining's police squad car.

She mentally sighed of relief, knowing that if Twilight heard any of "your father is the killer" she would start to freak out, She turned back to Shining.

"I was thinking we should keep the curfew still in effect during the night.....we'll add more roadblocks and see if we can get him, but if he's not in a squad car by morning, we're gonna have to do a house to house."

"Alright....anything you want me to do?"

"All I need you to do is keep an eye on Twilight, don't let her out of your sight ok?"

"Yes, ma'am" Shining replied as he looked down at the file in his hand. "You want this back?"

"Yeah, thanks." Sidney took the file from Shining's hands and put it back inside her police jacket. "See ya."

Shining nodded as he watched Sidney get inside her undercover squad car.

Shining was about to walk to his own car until Sid called him again. "Hey Shining...."

he looked behind him as he looked at Sidney. "Don't worry about your father it's just an assumption, I want you to just focus on Twilight, and don't tell her or her friends what we just talked about...ok?"

"Ok" he replied.

Sidney turned on her car and drove away from the store as Shining watched her.

Seeing her out of sight, he walked back to his car.

As Shining closed the car door he looked at the rear view mirror seeing that the girls were so bored of waiting that they all fell asleep.

Shining suddenly had a devious idea, he slowly moved his hand to the middle of the steering wheel.

He smirked evilly as he waited for a few seconds until he quickly pressed the loud car horn.

The loud Beep made the 2 mares quickly wake up and hit the car roof, as Shining started to laugh his ass off.

Rainbow rubbed her head and punched Shining in the arm. "Prick!, I was having a great dream!"

Shining continued to laugh. "I....I'm Sorry!" he said in between breaths. "But you should have seen the look on your faces!"

Rainbow slouched in her seat. "Whatever.....asshole."

Shining stopped laughing and wiped his tears and looked at the back. "Where's Fluttershy?"

"She went home on foot with the snacks to take to her house, she wanted to get everything ready before the party starts."

"Oh I also didn't ask where are her animals gonna be staying at?"

"Remember that animal home she made?" Shining nodded. "Over there."

"Ah ok, wait aren't you guys gonna help her to get everything together?"

Twilight answered this time. "No, She actually is getting help from some mare named....uh....Pinkie....I think..."

"Wait how are they gonna get the place set up in time before anyone gets there, the party starts in like 2 minutes."

Rainbow chuckled. "Trust me they'll be ready in time, I met that Pinkie girl, and that bitch knows how to party. Including setting one up in just 1 to 10 seconds flat."

Shining chuckled a little as he looked at his car clock it read 5:58, Fluttershy wanted everyone to be there near 6:00.

"Alright it's almost time you ready to go?"

"Yeah" both girls replied.

"Then let's go!"

Shining started the car and drove to Fluttershy's with Twilight and Rainbow.

Dual Blade and Sage walked on the sidewalk to Fluttershy's cottage, and it was getting pretty dark.

Sage looked around and saw that there were few ponies outside, in fact it felt like her and Blade were the only ones in this town.

She fixed her jacket and looked at Blade who was staring into the half dark night with the cool breeze flowing through his spiked mane.

"You ok?" asked Sage.

Dual Blade broke out of thoughts. "Hm?"

"I asked if you're ok."

"Yeah why?"

"It's just...you looked deep in thought, I was just wondering if your ok."

"Oh, but don't worry I'm fine, it's just..." Dual Blade started before looking in the night again. "I'm just worried about Twilight."

"How so?"

"Well....She has a psycho killer after her, she doesn't trust me, and also the cops are keeping a close eye on me."

“I don’t see the cops keeping an eye on you.”

Dual Blade looked at Sage with an expressionless face and pointed behind them. Looking back Sage saw a squad car with two cops. One cop was driving slow while the other was in the passenger seat using binoculars which were pointed at the two teens.

Sage looked back in front of her with a poker face as they continued to walk.

“Heh, anyway Twilight doesn’t even want to be near me.” said Dual Blade.

Sage looked at him again. “You like her?”

Dual Blade scoffed, he knew he’d be lying to himself if he said no. “Yeah, I do...”

“Why her out of all of the mares at school?”

Dual Blade sighed. “It’s just that.......Twilight is the most amazing woman I'm ever met.”

“Even better than me?” asked Sage giving Dual Blade the ‘puppy dog’ eyes.

Dual Blade chuckled and put an arm around Sage. “No one is better than you” Sage smiled brightly as Dual Blade dropped his arm.

“Anyway you should talk to her.”

Dual Blade rose an eyebrow. “Remember she doesn’t want me near her?”

“Yeah Yeah, who the fuck even cares anymore? Just walk up to her, take her to the bedroom, and let the magic happen.”

“Look Sage, I like her, I’m not just talking to her so I can get laid. Heh, besides I already got laid with you a lot of times.”

“But that was just if we were horny and masturbating wouldn't satisfy us. We are talking about real life lovemaking here.”

Dual Blade sighed. “I’ll just talk to her, that’s it nothing more.”

Sage pouted. “If you just listen to my advice, you would thank me.”

“Whatever you say darling...”

Dual Blade received a hard punch to the arm from Sage. “Ow!” he said gripping his punched arm as Sage smirked evilly.

As Shining pulled up at Fluttershy’s house with Twilight and Rainbow, they heard really loud music coming from her house. Might have been the work of the school’s very own DJ who is actually also a student, Vinyl Scratch or DJ PON3 is what she likes to be called. Twilight thinks only PON3’s Girlfriend calls her Vinyl. It was a British exchange student from Canterlot. Twilight keeps forgetting her name.....it might have started with an “Oc” and ended with “Via”.

Twilight and Rainbow got out of the car. “Have fun you two, but not too much fun or else I’ll have to arrest ya.”

“Yeah Yeah, see ya Shining.” said Rainbow Dash, shutting the car door as she and Twilight walked to the front door seeing that Applejack was already there.

“Howdy sugarcubes.”

“Hey AJ” said both RD and Twilight.

“How were the chores?” asked Twilight.

“Not a problem actually, I moved a lot of apples same old same old, The party’s in the backyard c’mon”

The 3 mares all ran to the backyard and saw a lot of ponies already there, some ponies were chatting with friends, There was a group of mares and stallions playing spin the bottle and they’re was even some stallions playing beer pong but, instead of beer they were using soda.

“Ok, I’m gonna go get us some drinks.....maybe even chips...” Rainbow said walking over to the snack table. Looking over what was next to the chips she gleemed with happiness. “YES SHE HAS MY FAVORITE SPICY SALSA!”

Twilight and Applejack laughed while shaking their heads.

On the other side of the house Cadence drove her news van with her Cameraman, Jack. She pulled up to the side of Fluttershy’s house and got out of the van and looked around, Jack popped his head out of the van and looked at the news mare. “We good?”

Cadence looked around some more to see if anypony saw them. “Yeah, I think we’re good.”

Before Cadence could go to Jack for something Shining Armor bumped into her.

“Oh God, I’m sorry” Shining said looking at the mare.

“It’s fine Officer.”

“Wait....”

“What?”

“Y...Your Mi Amore “Cadence” Cadenza, from EQN News!”

“Oh, heh heh yeah”

“Oh I’m sorry where are my manners, I’m Officer Shining Armor Sparkle, PVPF (Ponyville Police Force).” said Shining holding out his hand.

“Well nice to meet you Officer Armor.” exclaimed Cadence taking his hand and shaking it.

“So what are you doing here this late at night Ms. Cadenza?”

Cadence stuttered, she hadn't planned a cover story if she got caught. “Well......uh.....you don’t know when a great.......story would come up so.....I have to stay alert!”

“Uh...there is no interesting story here, it’s just some teenage ponies having a party.”

“You never know, Officer, you never know. Anyway what are you doing here?”

Shining stuttered with his answer too. “Um....jus-just checking on things around here. Speaking of which I should go check on the ‘Get Together’.

Before Shining had a chance to walk off Cadence called him. “Hey officer, mind if I come with you?”

Shining blushed. “Not at all and please, call me Shining.”

“Ok, Shining let me just get my jacket from the van.”

Shining raised an eyebrow. “It’s 70 degrees out here, which I find kind of weird considering its dark.”

“You never know!” said Cadence walking towards Jack who had a tiny camera in his hand and whispered to him. “Is it ready?”

“Yeah, all ready to go. Here.” Jack then handed the device to Cadence. “Make sure it’s hidden in a good place where no one could find it, but only you can.”

“Yeah Yeah, I get it just hand me the fucking jacket.”

Jack tossed the jacket to Cadence, she puts it on and walks with Shining to the party, gripping the device tightly.
