Grand Theft Auto: Mane County

Skies above Mane County

Thunder piloted his airplane to the south of Ponytropolis towards the neighboring Mane County. He planned to meet his friend and get everypony settled in before actually planning to take down the Midnight Riders. Soon they left the veiw of the city and saw more rural areas.“Welcome to Mane County” Thunder said through his headset “We're almost there so enjoy the ride.”

Soarin and Fleetfoot both looked out the windows and saw a mixture of farmland with multiple crops and machinery dotting the feilds, high mountain ranges with little hiking trails going all over the terrain, long highways along the coast of the county with dozens of beach houses dotting the perfect sand, and a decent amount of desert plains next to a very large bed of water.

Soon enough the trio spotted the local airport and flew towards it. “The airport hasn't been used for a while for commercial use so we'll land and wait.” Thunder said while he lowered the plane's altitude.

Mane County Airport

While waiting on the hood of his Charger parked on the adjacent runway, sat a blue earth pony wearing a military jacket and looking through a hunting rifle. Speedy moved some of his dark blue hair out of the way and looked through the scope of his rifle towards the sky. When he got the call from Thunder asking for help he agreed to meet him at the airport. “Thunder was vague with what he needed help with but he would never call unless he needed it.” Speedy said to himself.

After some searching he spotted Thunder’s plane and hopped into his car. He watched as Thunder landed and taxied down the runway to the old hangar at the end. “Well, time to go see my old friend and whoever he brought with.” Speedy said as he got in his car . He then started his car and drove towards them.

They didn't wait long as they heard the engine of Speedy's car heading towards them. They watched as he stopped and got out of his car. “Thunder you never said we would have company…….especially police.” Speedy said as he placed his hand on his revolver. “Well we're doing a case in the county about the local MC. They're along for the ride.” Thunder said.

“Soarin, Fleetfoot, meet former Army Captain and my friend Speedy Silverstreak.” Thunder said to the detectives. “Army huh?” Fleetfoot said. “Equestrian 274 branch. We were based in Zebracia” Speedy said. “I was discharged due to my sister. She has cancer.”

“How old is she?” Soarin said to Speedy “Sixteen. Turns seventeen later this year.” He responded back. “Now let's go before I leave you two here” Speedy said as he opened the door of his car. Soon everyone was in the car and Speedy drove to the nearby hotel.

After getting settled in Speedy drove them to his home. They passed through a gate with a sign that said “Silverstreak Salvage and auto modifications” and stopped in front of his trailer home. “Now usually police is not a great thing to see around here but I'll hook you three up with some wheels.”

The trio got out just in time to see Speedy get jumped on by a light blue unicorn. She wore a white tank top and jeans and a decorated scarf around her neck. Speedy struggled a little to hold her up then set her back down on the ground.

“Fuck sakes Shine your getting too heavy to do that.” Speedy said to the unicorn. Shinelight looked up at her big brother and lowered her face in guilt and embarrassment. “Sorry Speedy. Just a little surprised to see some guests.” Shinelight said with a cheery smile. Soarin and Fleetfoot both waved at Shine in which she waved back smiling.

“Go easy talking Shine. Remember what it does to your throat.” Speedy said concerned to his young sister. Ever since learning about her throat cancer while overseas, Speedy spent his time taking good care of his sister. He got the best doctor's he could afford and made sure she got proper treatment.“I know…..my cancer affects me when I talk.” Shine said with a slight tone of disappointment. “Cheer up sis” Speedy said as he rubbed her head “you're strong like me. You'll get through it.”

As Shine left the group Speedy directed everypony into a nearby warehouse. “And here we go.” he said as he turned on the lights. The group looked in shock at the rows of custom and expensive cars lining the building. “Where…….did you get these?! There has to be over a million dollars worth of cars in here!” Fleetfoot said.

“Lots of work and cash. Now you two would fit in this.” Speedy said as he pointed to a car. “For Soarin and Fleetfoot, a modified dark blue 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R. Lots of power, race suspension and drivetrain, roll cage and 5 point race harnesses.” Soarin and Fleetfoot walked up to the car and looked at it in amazement.

“Now Thunder…….some classic muscle fits you. So you can have the Phoenix.” Speedy said pointing to a older car. “Thunder,you get a supercharged 1976 Pontiac Trans am complete with a phoenix mural on the hood. Supercharged 6.6 litre engine and race differential. Perfect for straight line runs and corners.”

Thunder looked at the car with enthusiasm. “Glad you see my taste in vehicles Speedy.” He said to Speedy. “Yeah. Sadly the barbed wire bat is not included.” Speedy said chuckling. “Now, let's head inside. I have somepony else coming to help. He'll be here around dinner time.”
