Copper Cogs Comes To Town

It had been about an hour since Rarity had picked up Sweetie Belle, and her and her friends were now playing in Sweetie Belle's room, having fun with the filly's newfound magic abilities. Her skills were only slightly below the average skill of a full grown pony. Rarity had overheard her parents say something about Sweetie possibly not being able to do magic when she herself was only a filly, and Sweetie was newly-born.

Rarity was about to start preparing some food for the girls when there was a knock at the door, she went to open it, and saw Twilight standing on the other side.

"Hey Rarity!" she said, smiling kindly as she stepped inside, and quickly heard the girls playing upstairs due to their volume. "Wow the girls sure seem excited about something."

Rarity nodded. "Sweetie Belle got a device that allows her to use magic. Apparently Cheerilee noticed it and got her friend to make something for it" explained Rarity as the two friends headed towards the kitchen. She had gotten used to the idea now, so didn't think too much of it. Twilight however, stopped and had a shocked expression on her face.

"Wha...Bu...That's impossible!" she exclaimed. "The only creature ever known to give that sort of magic to someone was Discord! And he's an exception to pretty much every rule there is!!" Rarity wasn't surprised Twilight was a bit shocked by the news, especially considering the way she had reacted to things like this in the past. "Well...Who made it?" she asked, curiosity slowly replacing her shock.

"A new mare name Copper Cogs" replied Rarity. "She told me where her house was if there were any problems with the fake horn."
