Chapters Chapter Seven: I'm So Sorry...
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Prologue: Life Changing Views
Author's Note
I can't wait to see the hate comments on this .-.
Fun fact: I once tried my luck with a zombie fic, but I used Epilogue, instead of prologue and wondered why there was so much hate on it.
Prologue: Life Changing Views
My name is...
...Well... it's a matter of choice as I have two identities, one which I'm told is best I keep secret.
I've been David all my life. Just the good runner-up, chip off the old block kind of guy. I have to juggle school, a job, homework and...the last thing which has recently come up. Rather than me give a boring explanation, how about a good old flash back?
*****
It was late at night, pushing onto 10:00pm and I was heading home.
I should have been at home, in bed, sleeping an hour ago. But today, I had to take another employee's shift since they were a no-call-no-show, again. They needed somebody to fill their place and I nobly stepped up to the plate to take the job.
The extended work day was finally over.
The adventure? Well that's just about to begin.
On my way home, a car and a van went speeding past, the car chasing the van which had the back doors open. No need to mention how confused I was when I noticed the rifles being fired from the two vehicles. Hell, I brought a new meaning to stop-drop-and-roll! Sorry I can't put it into better words. I probably would have cared less about myself to stand around and simply watch to tell you in detail what happened if I knew I'd be telling a story about it.
Obviously I'm joking.
I was scared for my life!
During my re-inventing of the stop-drop-and-roll I ended up getting hit.
It. Didn't. Fucking. Feel. Pretty.
Just my luck too, for it to have happened in a rather secluded area, such as the abandoned docks. Lying on pebbles in the rain didn't feel good. Nor did my lower right abdomen like it, having to have taken the shot. I laid there, groaning in pain as the sound of squealing tires faded away.
"Bastards." I spit out a bit of blood into the puddle of it that had accumulated under me. "Shoot me and leave me here," I coughed.
The bullet didn't go through me, no.
It decided to get lodged into my spine instead to nestle into and settle down in.
"Fuck this guy's legs! Imma make a home outta his spine!" I actually joked to myself. I couldn't move my legs. I could not for whatever life was left of me.
Nice way to go out huh? Not even through school, deciding to be the nice guy to take extra, unpaid hours for the day. Hours I could've sued for. Now I'm bleeding out, can't yell for help, can't move my legs...let the crows feast on my innards!
Nope.
I just had to look left. I just had to.
I mean, you just got shot, last moments of living and something here in a broken box that contained content I could only assume was classified, had been left behind. Why not be curious for a final time?
So, I reached....and reached....and reached.
It seemed so close at first, but I guess not as I try to get the tiniest grip on the box with my bloody finger tips. I managed to pull it close to me and inside I could see a slight orange glow. With what little strength I had left, I reached towards the center of the overly cushioned steel box, where it's secrets were...well...kept secret. Here's a virtual shrug for you.
I pulled out a ball.
It was smooth, like your girlfriend's ass. Boy that felt nice.
Any who, if I kept on making comparisons, to your girlfriend's ass, I'd rush her to the hospital. Butts don't feel like glass, are transparent, orange in color, with a glowing core.
But, back to reality, in which I lay shot and dying, I find myself with this neat little trinket to bring with me to my bloody grave.
Too bad for me, I'm not sure if I want to thank this ball for saving my life.
The moment I raised it up to the full moon to see through it, I was blinded with its light.
*****
You'd be right in assuming I passed out and woke up in an entirely different body.
"Why the fuck do I have tits!?"
Yep. That's the first thing I noticed when I woke up - beige tits. Then that night's ungodly memories came back.
*****
"How am I not dead!?" I asked aloud, sitting on my new rump.
I then began to take notice of the rest of my bodily changes. Needless to say I had a very unmanly whimper at the loss of my genitals.
So, I sat up against a nearby wall, tugging at the front of my mane.
I spent my first night as the mare I soon named to be Alexis, crying. Why and when I named my newly found alternate form will come later.
To be honest, I was nothing short of scared while I wept alone, beneath the over-passing bridge. I thought I'd died and was now stuck in this new form of pitiful form of life, only the most disturbed and perverted force of nature could have bestowed upon me.
I saw my reflection in the shallow water.
My rather voluminous mane was not pretty to say the least. I questioned the obviously impossible size of my new, emerald green eyes. I poked my horn a bit, wishing it were gone.
"I'm a talking unicorn with tits..." I managed to wheeze out. "What now?" I asked nobody as the sun began to rise.
*****
I hope that was enough.
Scariest night of my life.
That night was over a week ago and during that time, I found I could change forms with ease as I pleased.
Being grounded to my room for the month for not coming home that night, gave me plenty of alone time to assess my new form. Each night, for an hour, after accepting this fate, I'd change into this....pony form, to get used to it, see how it works. For the most part, it's a full willing transformation, but when I change, my clothes change too. As fur spreads along my arms, my thick sweater sleeves become thin, smooth and black. No clue what to call em, but they're like gloves without the ends to the fingers and they go all the way to half way up my upper arms.
The chest area of my sweater, in the same little orange glow as the rest of my changing clothes, became a black bra with little white ribbons on the straps. Cute. My....breasts....seem they could be 36E cups at the very least. Damn mountainous monsters, don't belong there!
I sighed heavily, laying down on my bed, feeling each change to the transformation. The tingling from the growth of fur, the numbing of bones snapping to different shapes, the slithering feeling of my tail growing. I won't deny the feelings I feel when I change are nothing short of pure and euphoric. While I enjoyed the feelings of the changes....maybe even gave off a tiny little moan, I wasn't ready to accept the form I open my eyes to each time.
I like the tail though. Tails are awesome!
While I lay there, holding said tail in one arm, running my fingers through it with the other hand, I sit annoyed.
Maybe there's a reason this happened to me? A reason for me to turn into this freakishly....sort of sexy horse thing?
I can't help but feel like there's something I need to do, yet I'm stuck laying here in bed. I'd probably be playing Tanki Online at the very least, but grounded = no laptop.
I sat up again, cross-legged, cheek propped up on a palm, thumping my tail on the bed.
"Boriiiiing..." I whined, actually trying to sound as bitchy as possible for the sake of a few laughs.
A few minutes later, I'm staring down from my window, to the sidewalk below. I rest my chin on my arms on the windowsill, blowing at a bit of free standing fur from my arm.
This seems to distract me from my boredom, but then I see a guy below getting mugged. It was at the moment the attacker pulled a knife from his shady silhouette that I acted. In a manner I've never done before, or even attempted, I opened my window and jumped out, rolling down the slant of the tiled roof, pushing myself off at the edge and somehow landing below on my two hooves with a loud "clop."
"Put. The knife. Down." I said firmly, my voice laced with venom, the shadows keeping me hidden.
The attacker shoved his helpless victim down and turned to face me.
"And what do you think you're gonna do about it?" the man shot back, his accent coming out British.
"Obviously hurt you if you don't comply." I raised my adorable little fluffy fists, ready for battle with an armed man.
Well, if getting shot didn't kill me, this probably will.
Chapter One: Alexis Nightingale
Author's Note
Not much happens in this chapter. Sorry to say. Also, if you don't read the prologue, you wont have a clue as to what's going on!
Chapter One: Alexis Nightingale
So, that's how we come to where I am today in my new life.
I'm a little unicorn in lingerie about to get her ass kicked. Possibly killed.
"And just how do you propose lil' old you I gonna beat me?" the much taller and bulkier than me man looms over me.
I gulped.
"Put the knife down." I repeated as he closed in another step, closer to stabbing range.
If I step back, he'll see it as a sign to attack me. If I stay still, it's hesitation, if I step forward, he'll be set to go for a lunge, which I'm not really to be impaled again already! If there's one thing I'm grateful for from this whole thing is that my actual form is free of any bullets.
"You seem hesitant, little girl. It'd be a shame to have to put you down, so why don't you scatter along?"
Even though I can't see his face from this side of the streetlight, I can tell he's smirking.
I step back.
He lunges.
I had no clue what to do, but my brain seemed to go onto auto pilot. I managed to dodge him, earning slightly more than a cut along my side. I winced slightly, but in a blurr, my tail wraps tight around his wrist, I do a little swoop and sweep, kicking his off balanced from off his feet and into the air. My tail does a little twirl, causing the attacker to spin until he landed hard on his back and you could hear the gasp of the wind being knocked from him.
"THAT is what I'm gonna do, you prick!" I spat in his face before removing the shoulder bag from him.
The victim of this attack stands, gawking at me and I notice, as I'm giving his bag back, I'm not exactly in the shadows anymore...
"Wh-what are you?" he asked shakidly.
"In short, I'm a talking unicorn with tits, now get going before I have to save you from being mugged again." I wave off the pedestrian and he hurried off. "Well, that was fun, I guess...."
I turned back around to head inside, only to see the attacker again, but with a gun to my neck.
"You got moves, you costume freak, but I'm the one with the gun!" he snarls, cocking the pistol.
I swear, with these highly sensitive ears, I could hear the bullet moving into place inside the barrel. HE then spins me around and puts the gun to my back and points me down the alley.
"Now get going or I'll turn ya into led!" he jabs the gun into the lower portion of my spine.
Well, would you look at that! More than one people seem to want me dead!
"I'm going!" I mutter, fighting the urge to swing my tail up and slap his junk. Then all of a sudden it happened again...
My tail flung up, thumping the bone in my tail against his little "jewels."
Just as fast as it went up, my tail came down and between my legs and up, flinging into the air, I could only assume was his gun, then I did a back flip, using the attacker as support with my hands, flinging myself over him, my hand holding onto his shoulders, my hooves coming down and around, kicking him forward and with the force of the kick, I find myself doing another backflip, landing with such grace, my hand raising up. Pointer finger out, the trigger housing landed over my finger and spun circles in my hand until I finally grabbed it correctly, pointing down at the man who now lays on his belly.
"Come again?" I step a hoof triumphantly over his back, gun to his head.
"Fuck you!" he spat.
I chuckle in the slightest. "You're lucky I pity you."
I eject the magazine from the grip in the pistol and I toss it down the alley, but I keep the gun. Until I pull back the slider, I still have one sitting in the chamber, one in the chamber to shoot this loser if he tries something.
"Now get out of here!"
I let him up, he glares at me, fixes his coat, dusts himself off. "This isn't the last you will see me."
He fixes his collar then walks off.
I shake my head at him before climbing back up to my room as to not be seen as I enter, setting the gun inside the drawer of my nightstand. I make sure to shut and lock the window and pull the curtains shut and I slump down onto my bed. I remain in pony form, checking the clock on my nightstand, I till have about another twenty minutes till I can change back. I can change anytime I want, of course, but I try to stay in this form for one whole hour each day.
I lay on my side, hugging my tail, and I'm still wearing my lingerie, which is the only things I'm still not used to. You'd think it'd be having different genitals would do the trick, or the fact I'm a human-pony cross creature. Nope. The choice of clothing seems to be the bit that bothers me the most.
Still can't believe I beat that guy up, though. He had a knife AND a gun, but got owned....by a pony.
"That's funny," I giggle to myself. "I guess there's some perks that come along with this."
I hug my tail tighter. "You're one of them! I could get used to this..."
"I wonder how mom and dad would react to see me like this," I giggled again, imagining mom thinking I'd be too cute to resist hugging and dad would probably have his eyes locked on my fairly sized breasts. "But not dressed like this..."
I sit up at the edge of my bed, looking over myself. "Nah, I'll let them find out on their own. These can go, though," I pull the leggings and arm sleeve things off, so all that's left is the bra that hides, probably a third of my cleavage and the sports shorts and panties.
"There, much better." I smile, running my hands along the smooth fur that covers my legs. "I should at least get properly dressed in case my parents walk in on me."
I get up and I make my way over to the closet, swaying my tail as I began to sort through the hanging shirts. The door to my closet is one sliding door, and for the sake of the mirror, I don't open it fully. I pull out my first choice, a black t-shirt with nothing on it. I slip it on, over myself. "Perfect fit!" I think to myself. I grab a pair of jean shorts and throw them on quick and there we go. I shut the door and I look into the mirror. This time, I don't frown, I smile, straight into those emerald green eyes.
"Like this, I kicked that guy's ass! I did a flip over him, kicked him over and did another flip off him from there!"
My smile grows a little more.
"With abilities like these..." I look down at my thinly furred over hands. "Who knows what I can do?"
I sit back down on my bed, thumping my tail down on it, while tapping my hooves on the carpeted floor. I began thinking of different moves I could attempt to pull off while kicking somebody's butt. That was quite the rush to throw myself into action like that, beat a guy's as and I'm still in one piece!
Look at me, I've got this secret identity, I kicked some ass, fighting a crook! Sounds like out of an old comic book of some kinds of....
"Super hero..." I muttered.
I get up and look into the mirror again, welcoming my figure
"Alexis," is all I say, proud of my new name for my new form and my soon to be "Super Hero Identity."
I flick my tail left and right, I fix my mane a bit and I lay back down on my bed, enjoying being a pony.
"Alexis Nightingale..." I slide under the covers and I drift off to sleep.
My ears flick at various sounds as I wake the next morning, slowly sitting up, stretching my arms and legs. I look to my clock, noting the time to be 6:00am on the nose.
"Time for school!" I yawn, noticing my feminine, pony figure in the closet mirror and a smile forms on my muzzle. "Maybe I should go to school like this," I giggled. "That would be funny."
With another stretch, I change back to my human self. I stop my head from changing as I reach out to touch the mirror.
"See you later."
I allow my head to change back and I get ready for school.
Chapter Two: Back to school
"How did you sleep, sweeties?" mom asked me, serving me a plate of French toast where I sat at the dining table.
"G-good," I smile softly. "Thanks for breakfast. Dad left for work already?"
"Yeah, he was called in early." she flicks her head to the left to remove her auburn colored hair from her eyes. She's got it cut short on the left side, but longer on the other. A hair style I'm not a fan of, but she's my mother and I can't really judge her for how she wears her hair. "Something happened at the factory, I don't know what. He didn't tell me much of it except that he just had to go." she shrugs.
"Alright." I nod, taking the first bite of my toast.
"How's school going? You're passing your classes, correct?" mom looks up at me without raising her head, her emphasis on 'correct,' sent a little chill down my spine.
I nod again. "Y-yeah, but I have been having some issues with Science....I don't quite get it and I've been seeing my teacher during my free time for help."
"That's good. What's your grade?" she doesn't take her eyes off me as she takes another chunk off of her toast.
"Well, I don't know as of right now. Mid quarter progress reports are supposed to be handed out today, actually, so you'll be able to see how I'm doing in each of my classes."
"Fair enough. I better not see a single F on there."
"I hope not."
Mom gives another little nod, then things go silent form there, save for our forks clinking against the ceramic plates as we ate.
I feel like I want to tell them about Alexis. Mom at least since I'm sure she'll understand. But, I'm not sure if she'd be okay with me risking my life to help people I don't know. Without Alexis, I don't think I would have lived to see the next day. I look down at my hands.
It's one thing to have come to terms with this whole thing, but the general idea of being able to turn into a talking unicorn with tits in lingerie still feels weird. Now that I think of it like that, mom and dad would think I'm crazy if I tried to tell them! I'd have to change for them to see, but then they'd be seeing more of me than they should be. I don't think they'd like that and neither would I.
The awkward silence continues on until we've finished.
"Why didn't you come home that night, David?"
Great, she's asking again. I don't answer.
"David?"
I look down at my hands.
"Maybe something happened to you that shouldn't have?"
Yeah! I nearly fucking died!
"I'm going to take a shower." I said, quickly heading back upstairs. I could hear mom sigh as I left the room.
On my way up the stairs, I don't hear her following me, which she usually does in cases like this. I want to tell them so bad she can stop worrying....maybe she's starting to think I possibly got....you know....raped. But I don't think they'd handle me being an anthropomorphic pony very well.
I head into the bathroom and I lock the door behind me.
I can't help but change into Alexis as I de-clothe.
I smile softly as the orange glowing ring appears at my waist where it splits into two, one going down and the other coming up. My favorite part of the transformation is the growth of my fur from the tingling sensation it gives. I moan slightly from the pleasure of it, as well as the rest of the transformation. I sit on the toilet and stretch my legs as the bones snap and crack into their human-equine shapes, watching my skin disappear under the beige fur.
My chest begins to feel a little tight as my breasts grow out. I moaned just a little more, leaning my head back, my mouth and nose stretching out to form my cute little muzzle. My vision becomes blurry as my eyes grow gigantic and change color. My feet have been replaced with my hooves and my ears slide up to the top of my head. I can feel my fur creeping along my arms all the way to my hands. My hips tingle as they become slightly wider, my waist shrinking at the same time. My forehead tingles a little as my horn comes through.
My tail begins to snake its way out of my back, I sway it from left to right as it grows. I look back down over myself, the last few changes taking place, then glowing silhouettes of my lingerie appear.
Once my transformation has finished, I sat there for a couple minutes....purring. Didn't know ponies could do that.
It may be a female pony I have to turn into, but I'm one kickass pony! It's strange. I'm a guy. Well, not right now, but in general. Never have liked horses or ponies. Or hated them, but I like this pony for sure. I gently pet the little tuft of fur in the center of my chest, wondering how I could use this form to be, you know, a super hero.
The shower awaits me, though, so I get up off the toilet and I remove my lingerie, folding it up and in the towel cupboard in the wall by the shower, I stick them beneath the towels of course to hide them. I turn around to the counter and I see myself in the mirror.
I smile a little. "I'm a naked pony, hehe."
I allow myself to continue to purr as I start up the shower, swaying my tail with joy.
Once I get the water to a comfortable temp, I step inside and pull the door shut, letting the water wash over my body.
I look at my arms. "Should I use body soap or conditioner?"
I shrug and I grab the hair conditioner, squirting a fair glob of it onto the palm of my hand, putting my hands under the stream of water to make it soapy and bubbly. I can't believe I'm actually taking a shower like this!
A little giggle escaped from my lips as I began to lather the conditioner into my fur.
*****
After my shower, I try to squeeze as much water from my coat as I can before utilizing the towel hanging from the hook on the door. Of course I stayed in the shower for this.
Once dry, my fur being fluffed up made it a little bit difficult to get my clothes back on. Why not just change back to my human form? Well, I like this form quite a lot. Need I explain why....again?
Nah.
I brush my mane and tail a little before leaving the bathroom. My mom is still downstairs, so I'll be Alexis while I'm up here. I head into my room to retrieve my hoodie from the bed and I slip it on.
"David, honey! Time for me to take you to school!" mom calls from downstairs.
"Coming!" I say in my voice, something else I found out I could do a few days back. I turn back into myself, having thought about stuffing my tail into my pants and leaving it, but that'd be risky, so I decided not to.
I head downstairs to see mom in her work uniform, waiting at the door.
"Time to go," she says and opens the door for me.
I give her a smile as I head out to the car - a dark blue 2016 Chevy Cruze.
We get in the car and mom takes me to school, of course. She starts up the car and pulls out of the driveway.
Sadly, I failed to notice the black van that began to follow us as we drove off.
Chapter Three: First Day on the Job
As mom drove, I stared out the window at the tall building hat seemed to have reached the clouds, thinking. Thinking of how grateful I am to have Alexis. I wish I knew who it was who accommodated me with such an awesome gift so I could thank them properly. I look in the side view mirror, a small smile on my face. She's all I see now when I look at my reflection. It's a nice thing to see.
Two weeks ago if you told me I'd be turning into an anthropomorphic unicorn of the opposite gender, I'd of called you crazy! But it's happened, and I'm glad it has. I know I haven't done much as Alexis, but I hope to soon be making putting bad guys in jail a lifestyle. I truly enjoy having this new ability and I don't mind turning into a pony. Alexis is one amazing pony.
I pull an arm out of my sleeve, and I let it change as I peek through the collar. I watch as my arm warps to that of a female shape and how my beige fur grows along it. I rub my arm gently with my other hand.
"Hey, mom?" I ask, petting my arm.
"Yes, David?" mom replied as we came off the highway.
"What if I told you I wanted to become a cop or something and stop bad guys?"
Meh. It's as close as I can get.
Mom sighed. "That's nice and all, but could you do something that isn't you know....so risky?"
"I dunno....putting bad guys in jail seems like fun..." I continue to pet my arm, my fur feels just as soft as a baby's bottom.
"What makes you want to get into such a dangerous career, anyway?" she asks firmly, in such a tone she's hiding the fact she doesn't want me to. "You know how we hear about all the shootings these days and with the second amendment to the U.S constitution granting everyone the right to have a firearm, you never know who will pull a gun on you."
Heh, last time I had a gun pulled on me, I whooped the punk's ass!
"I guess you're right, but it just seems so cool!"
I just wish I could tell mom about Alexis...it's killing me each day she worries about the night it happened because she doesn't know what happened. I want so bad just to tell her. I don't think she'd take it very well at first. If I do tell anybody, it'll just be mom, but I'll make sure she keep it from dad until I'm ready to tell him, too.
"I don't want to end up like most other teens, working at fast food places...I want to do something unique, mom."
"I know, David. I know. I can't stop you in choosing your career. I just hope you'll be careful, okay?" mom comes to a stop again, but this time at the school.
"Okay, mom." I make my arm change back and stick it into the sleeve.
"I love you, David."
"I love you too, mom," I opened the door and exited the car.
I wave to her as she drove off before turning towards the school. Heh...all these kids and I'm the only one that has the ability to become a badass pony. I smile a bit at that thought, realizing how different I am now from the rest of the students. I'm urged to turn into Alexis, go in and say I'm a new kid.
I head up the walk way towards the school, kicking a pebble along the way, thinking how big a part of my life Alexis has become. I can't stop thinking about her after last night and it's hard NOT to think about her when my reflections and shadows take her form, although it's obvious everyone else sees my reflections and shadows.
As I pass through the halls, I see all these kids...how...normal they are. I honestly feel bad for them. Everyone really. They're all eventually going to sift into the life of scraping by to pay bills, doing the same thing everyday pretty much. When I'm out and about, I study these people, wondering what their lives are like. So different, yet so similar. It's like they're all a bunch of fruits being put into a blender. They're different, yet end up in a similar situation.
As I head into the cafeteria which has its walls in different colors, yellow, green, blue and orange, these things still nip at my mind. The world has become too bland. I've been thinking about all this in different aspects since I began turning into Alexis. Maybe there's somebody else out there like me? Or am I the only one?
I sit at a random, unoccupied table, gazing down at Alexis' shadow which is drawn across it.
Maybe I'm thinking about these things too much?
A low sigh escaped my lips as footsteps neared.
"Sup, loser?" came the tomboyish female voice of my friend Veronica.
She plops down next to me with her tray along with Brock. No, not the Brock from Pokemon, either.
"Nothing." I shrug. "Just got here."
"Anything fun happen over the weekend?" she asks, her blue eyes glistening slightly in the light, moving her Magenta dyed hair out of her face. She's got those freckles on her cheeks.
"Meh, nothing really."
"Your parents still got you grounded, huh?" asked brock.
"Yeah, sadly. Two and a half weeks to go," I sighed heavily.
"Damn," Veronica takes a bite from her veggie burger. "Your pahrants are jerksch." she says with her mouth full.
Brock looks at me quizzically. "And how come you won't tell anybody what happened? You said you weren't raped, so what went down that night?"
I look down. "Nothing you guys would really understand..." I watch the shadow of my tail flick left and right form under the table.
Brock runs a hand through his short blonde hair. "What makes you say that?"
I sigh again.
"It's just not something I'd like to talk about, okay?" I snapped back a little too much. Brock and Veronica flinched.
There was silence for a few minutes.
I love Alexis, I love being Alexis and nearly everything about it, but what worries me is how my friends and family would react if I showed them. I truly enjoy being a pony when I change into Alexis, I just wish I could be her around others without having to worry. As happy as I am with this, it kills me that I'm so afraid at the same time. I don't mind being female, I don't mind the breasts, change of genitals and species, rather, I enjoy all of that. I'm not normal anymore. I'm special! But this kind of special, I can't just up and change and go;
"Look at me! I'm a talking unicorn in lingerie!"
Not that I'd do it like that. I just hope my parents will understand so I can turn into Alexis more often when I'm home. Being a pony is actually really fun, even if I'm an anthropomorphic one.
I give a light sigh as the school bell rang.
"Well, time to go, Veronica gets up. "Hope we didn't upset you by asking again, David. We're just really concerned about you." Veronica hugs me gently. "Laters."
Brock gets up and leaves with her. "Take care, buddy."
I nod as I get up as well, watching them walk off.
*****
Later, in 5th period Algebra, we were taking notes to start as usual as well as a few practice problems. I've never been good at math.
Never.
I groaned to myself as I copied down the notes which will serve no purpose to me, feeling like I'm sitting here, wasting my time.
Then all of a sudden, the fire alarm goes off.
EEEE! EEEE! EEEE! .......... EEEE! EEEE! EEEE!
"Great." I mumble to myself.
As I got up with the other students, the intercom turns on.
"Attention teachers and students!" Came the principle's voice. "This is not a drill! Please escort your students to the nearest exit immediately!"
There were gasps.
"Alright, everyone!" said the teacher.
I don't like how his beard is blonde. As if that's totally relevant.
"Keep calm and head down the stairs to your left and out the door and cross the street!"
Nobody listened. Instead of filing out in a single line, they grabbed their belongings and ran out the door. I sighed as I was the only one leaving calmly. Once out into the hallway, there was black smoke along the ceiling. Food's class is just a couple doors down, so I can only assume some idiot forgot they were cooking and now the school's on fire.
Dumbasses.
Once outside, which was about five minutes later, there were still no sirens in the distance, so fire trucks and the old school, made mostly of wood sees most of the second floor is engulfed in flames. Fired reach out of the windows as if it were a prisoner kept inside and was fighting for freedom as black smoke raised into the sky.
"HERE!" I called out as the teacher called out my name.
"I've got a student missing!" said another teacher down the sidewalk.
Just at that moment, my legs began running for me, back to the burning school. I heard the teachers call out to me to tell me to stop, but there is no time.
Once inside, out of view, I become an orb of shining orange light as I once again, become Alexis.
Chapter Four: Alexis Saves the Day!
Chapter Four: Alexis Saves the Day!
I heard crackling and snapping as I came to. There was a loud screeching, making my head throb. My lungs were tight and my throat was raspy. I could feel much more heat in the floor than there usually was and It hurt my palms to touch it. I'm not even sure if I want to open my eyes. All I can hear is the fire siren wailing over the sound of the burning flames. I try to move, but my leg's caught on something as if there were an unknown creature behind me, holding me down. Wanting for me to die.
"Anybody there!?" I heard a voice. Female, soft and smooth.
Still, I struggle to move - I can't even crawl a little.
I tried to call out for help, but my lungs wouldn't cooperate. It felt as if somebody's lit matches and dropped them it, engulfing my lungs in flames. As I made my failed pleas or help, I coughed and coughed and coughed. They were dry and raspy, inflaming my throat even more, and my eyes stung from having them open even slightly to see. I don't even remember where I am in the school, but I do know I'm surrounded by flames, creeping their way to me.
My end is near. It's inevitable. Who ever is there, I can tell they want to help me but can't even hear me to find where I am. I'm going to die...
"I'm sorry, Mom and Dad...I won't be coming home..."
I can feel tears welling up in my eyes and it soon starts to burn.
"And the last thing we did was fight..."
Clip, clop, clip, clop, clip, clop.
"HEELP!" I managed to force the word out, followed by another coughing fit.
I could hear the sound of those heel-toe shoes getting closer and closer until they were actually in the room.
"Where are you!?"
I dare not try and speak again, so instead I fake coughed.
"Don't worry, I'm going to get you out of here!"
The steps came my way. I opened my eyes a little to see one of the ceiling support beams be moved out of the way. I'd be surprised by the immense amount of strength this person has but as of now I just want to get out of here.
I saw a creature. Once the beam was moved, she was in full view. My vision was blurry but I could easily make out the pointy ears, huge eyes, the horn and tail and the....lingerie?
What...?
"I got you!" she says as she pulls me free.
"Wh-what are you?" I couldn't help but asking as she helped me stand.
"I'm a pony," she smiles. "Think you can walk?"
"I-I don't know..." I stood on my good leg, but the other, I couldn't even move. "I can't move my right leg..."
She nods. "Well, let's take it slow. When I take a step, do a little hop if you can."
I nod and we begin to make slow progress. We've got an arm across each others shoulders and with her left hand she holds mine. I'm putting my full trust in this pony since I can't keep my eyes open and thus I have no choice but to trust she'll get me out of here
"So, the walls are covered in flames so don't feel around, okay?" she says softly.
I nod.
I can feel my heart racing in my chest, my whole body burns, I can't feel my leg, can't see. so far, nothing seems promising.
"N-never seen a pony with tits in lingerie before..." I whispered to prevent myself from coughing.
"No you haven't. But now you have."
I try to give a small laugh but only ended up coughing instead.
*****
I watched the walls burn and pieces of the ceiling fall to the floor as we slowly made our way out of the Food's class. The hallway was free of fire but filled with smoke as the sprinklers above did what they could to stop the fire, but did nothing but slow the growth of the flames. Funny, out of all the students here, Brock had to be the one left behind!
"What's your name, pony?" the boy asks.
"It's Alexis," I smile with a soft nuzzle to his cheek as I feel him petting my shoulder.
We get to the stairs. "Alright, we're at the stairs now....mind if I carry you down?"
I lifted a ceiling support beam no problem, this boy will feel like a feather. I guess super strength comes with this. I'm curious to find out what else I have.
"I-if it gets me out of here, do what you need to do," he coughs. "You're a pony as you say, I doubt you can't lift me."
I giggled a little. "Here we go," I lift Brock off of his feet and I make my way downstairs where there's only light smoke and no flames to dry out and kill my fur. That's the last thing I want is for Alexis to look like she doesn't take care of herself. The fur is a big one since, you know, it covers ALL of me.
As we get downstairs, I finally hear sirens of firetrucks and such off in the short distance. To be honest I'm really insulted non of the staff came after me. Isn't it illegal to go back into a burning building? I think? Dunno. Have another virtual shrug.
Jeez that's bad. I need a good catch phrase.
I set Brock back down and we head for the front door. "We're not upstairs so you can open your eyes, doofus."
And so he does and he blinks at me. "You're pretty, I guess...for an alien..."
I giggle some at that. "Does my attire bother you?" I step back and slowly turn around.
"N-no," he coughs a little, blushing. "Thanks for saving my life, Alexis," he pulls me into a tight hug. "Let me guess...I'll never see you again after this?"
I shake my head, hugging back. "You'll see me around sometimes." I lay my head on his chest for a short moment then pull away. "We should get out of here, huh?"
Brock nods.
"I should actually change..." I look down at myself, imagining what I wore today in place of the lingerie.
I felt a tingle in my horn and a little pop
"Well there's that done." I smile, back in my standard clothing.
Brock stares with his mouth agape
Well, here goes to Alexis being exposed for the first time.
I help Brock wobble out the door and into the day light and soon, all eyes are on us...me mostly.
"He's okay!" I announce, bringing him to the curb as the fire department arrives along with an ambulance and a few squad cars...and a news van.
"Looks like you're going to be on t.v, Alexis" he coughed again as the paramedics came and put him on a stretcher.
I watched as the firemen went to work, somehow ignoring the obviously very sexy pony in front of them. The police began investigating and the news crew were readying their equipment, glancing back at me many times.
Before I knew it, I had two guys with cameras pointed at me and the channel 5 news lady with an out stretched arm, a microphone in hand, so close to my mouth I could almost taste it. She had long blonde hair and because of her age, her white hairs were made her hair seem as bright as the sun. Her red dress covered in sparkles made me think of the night time sky, only red. Her lipstick matched and I don't know how long she spent with the make-up she's got on the rest of her face.
Beads of sweat began to build up and I removed my sweater, my low cut, black t-shirt exposing a fair amount of my furry cleavage to the cameras.
"Did you assume I can talk, which is why you've presented the microphone?"
"Oh no, your friend told us," she smiled. "Now if you wouldn't mind answering some questions?"
"Yeah, sure." I smiled awkwardly.
"First off, what is your name, hero?"
"It's Alexis," I blushed slightly. "I-I know you're going to ask, but I'm sure you can tell I'm a unicorn."
She nods as I glance between the three cameras, not sure of which one I should be looking at. I gulped, my face being revealed to millions of people in a very instant. I hope mom and dad don't recognize my clothing...
It went live everywhere.
CNN, Fox, BBC, you name it.
Their vans showed up and as firefighters risked their lives to prevent a burning building from collapsing, I stood at the other end of the street, a crow of news reporters pointing their cameras and microphones at me. There were white flashes of pictures being taken, there was shouting, too much for me to handle...
"How did you know there was a guy in there?"
"How did you manage to get out?"
"How are you feeling now?"
"What planet are you from?"
These are some of the questions I've been asked before I can even answer ONE of them. My tail flicked left and right in annoyance, my ears flattened and the whole time, that black van from earlier was parked away from the rest, in its own little area. My eyes darted around at the crowds of on lookers that built up from behind the yellow police tape, their phones raised.
"I...I...j-just knew I had to do something," I managed to get out, not even sure if I was answering one of the asked questions. "I couldn't let him die..."
Look at me. I'm a talking unicorn surrounded by overly curious people, over a hundred eyes locked on to me, while millions watched from behind t.v screens. I pray to god mom and dad aren't watching the news.
Sadly for me, I didn't get to go home like the rest of the students. I'm stuck here, surrounded from all sides by camera crews.
"C-can I go home now?" I squeaked, trying in vain to back away from the blinking red lights.
They followed me.
"I-I just want to go home..." I managed to say over their voices.
I could feel myself reaching my boiling point. I'm horrible around so many people and this is one big crowd of people I don't know!.
"Alexis, did you say you're a...pony?" one asked.
I nod.
They continue with their barrage of questions as I could only think of going -
POP
"Home...."
I stare up at the two story blue house with it's white trim and bush pathway with a simple oak fence to cut between the alley and the driveway. I couldn't believe my eyes....I had just teleported! I stood there for a moment, wondering how I even just did this.
I quickly headed inside, changing back into myself.
"David is that you?" I hear my mother call from up the stairs.
"Yes, mom!"
With a sigh I began to trudge up the stairs and to my room to continue my grounding. But in a flash, mom had come out into the hall and pulled me into a tight hug. She held me with such force, I thought my back was going to break.
"Oh, David! I'm so glad you're okay! I was on my way, but you just came in and..."
Mom pulls away and looks at me for a moment like she's seen a ghost as her bottom lip quivered. She then goes back into the room just as fast as she had come out. I could swear she had super speed or something.
"M-mom?" I follow her into the room and she's got the t.v on, paused and, I'm guessing you know what's on the screen.
Mom puts a hand to her mouth as she glances to me, to the t.v to me and back to the t.v. Alexis wore a red hoodie, a gold necklace with a round pendant at the end that would open, jeans and white sneakers.
I currently wear the same thing, no surprise there, but I think mom's just made the connection.
I sighed long and low, my arms falling limp to my sides.
"D-David?" mom asks whit a shakidly worried tone.
"Please....d-don't tell dad or show him if he hasn't seen..." I rub my arm then I quickly retreat to the bathroom, locking the door behind me.
Again, she doesn't follow me. Well, I'm in the bathroom, she should know not to follow.
Fur began to spread along my body, an orange silhouette of light surrounding me as my body began to change. It's about time I show her....I have to choice but to do so anyways. I could feel my toes shrink into my feet as my feet became hooves. My hips became slightly wider, my thighs thicker, my waist thinner. My arms became fully covered in fur as they became more slender. My horn spiraled from my forehead and my ears became pointed and slid to the top of my head. My eyes grew large and bright green. I watched in the mirror as my hair fluffed out into it's maned style, my clothes disappearing as my lingerie took their place.
I look at myself in the mirror, putting a hand to it. I hope mom doesn't freak out too much...
Like earlier, I imagine myself in my clothes before with the little pop sound.
Once I'm all furry and pony upped again, I unlock the door and slowly walk out.
"Here goes nothing....."
My mother I can hear mumbling to herself in her room.
"M-mom?" I stand now in her doorway. She looks up to me and a loud gasp escaped her lips. "I-I think it's time I tell you what happened the night I didn't come home..." I look down. "I mean it when I say what I'm about to tell you is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth..."
I move my tail into my arms as I sit next to mom on the bed.
"O-ok..."
I sighed heavily. "As you know, I took that extra shift that day, right?"
She nods.
"Well, as I was coming home, I took a different route since it was nice out. I was passing through the abandoned docks for some sight seeing along the way, when a speeding car and van went by."
"What happened?" she asks weakly.
I'm not sure if she believes it's me as of nor or what, but I think she's too shocked to say anything about it if she doesn't.
"They were firing guns at each other. As they went around a corner, one of their shots....hit me..." I put a hand to my lower right abdomen.
Mom gasped again.
"The bullet lodged itself into my spine. I fell over and couldn't move my legs. Being the abandoned docks, nobody saw, came or heard my pleas for help..." I began to tear up. "I-I thought I was going to die, mom!" I wiped the side of my muzzle as a tear rolled down its side.
Mom began to tear up as well.
"Then...there was this little box that fell out of the van....I was able to reach it and there was this little ball inside, about as big as a baseball. It was a little transparent, it was glowing orange in the center. I raised t up to see it through the light of the moon..." I raised my arm up as if to demonstrate. "Then it just....grew brighter. I guess it knocked me out."
"Th-then what?"
"I woke up like this, the sun was just starting to rise and I felt horrible. I sat under a bridge for a few hours...alone...confused and crying...I mean look at me!" I stood up. "I'm a talking unicorn with boobs!"
Mom looks down.
"I-I was afraid if I came home that...you guys would shun me away..." I rub my right arm nervously.
"Oh, David..." Mom gets up and stands in front of me, "why would you ever think that?"
"I was scared..." I looked down again and then...Mom hugged me.
"David, I would never shun you away...you're my only child..." she held my firmly, and began rubbing my back. "I'm just so glad you're still alive!" she started to cry, tightening her hug.
` "M-mom...please don't cry..." I returned her affection, resting my chin on her shoulder.
"I don't care what you are now because inside, you're still my precious David..."
She pulls away, wiping tears from her eyes and cups a hand over my fluffy cheek.
"I love you, David..."
I smiled weakly as a tear crept down my cheek. "I love you too, Mom. Thanks for accepting this."
"You never asked to...get shot...why would I ever hold it against you?"
I shrug. "Also, please call me Alexis when I'm a pony...feels weird being called David like this."
Mom nods. "Fair enough. I take it you can change whenever you want?"
I nod. "W-would you be alright with me staying this way...while dad's still gone at least?"
"I wouldn't mind it in the least." she kisses the tip of my horn and ruffles my mane.
"Thanks...guess I'm not grounded anymore, huh?"
Mom nods. "I'll just tell your father that you've been punished long enough."
My stomach growls suddenly like a tiger stalking its prey and mom giggles.
"I bet after saving that boy you're pretty hungry, Dav, er....I mean Alexis?"
I nod, removing my hoodie. Damn thing plus the fur turns me into a self baking oven!
"Well, lets go see what I can whip up for my son who's now my pony daughter, shall we?" Mom smirked a sly smile at me as she went to leave the room.
I couldn't help but giggle at that.
"Shut it, mom!"
Mom laughs as she hugs me again. I didn't hesitate to return it.
"Mmmmm....yeah....that's the spot, Mom" I purred, leaning into my mother's hand as she scratched my ear gently at the base. My right hoof thumped up and down on the floor and my tail flicked this way and that. Needless to say I was enjoying this. "I love you, mom."
Mom giggles slightly. "I love you, too, Alexis." Mom smiles at me while she cracked eggs into a pan. "You like being a pony?"
I nod. "Y-yeah, it's fun!"
Mom continued to pet me from where stood at the stove, letting the time pass us by. "That's nice, I'm just glad you're happy, my sweet...mare?"
` I giggle and nod. "I'm really grateful for this. I mean, last night, I saw a guy getting mugged and guess what?"
"You watched and didn't do anything stupid?"
"Well...sort of..."
Mom tilts her head at me.
"I jumped out the window, rolled down the porch roof and pushed myself off at the edge to make like a little arch in the air as I came down, then..."
So, I explained to mom how I stopped the mugger and how I nearly got stabbed....and shot....again. Needless to say she wasn't very happy with me, yet seemed pretty impressed.
"Then how come we didn't hear anything? I was in the kitchen..."
"Maybe you're just deaf?" I giggled.
Mom rolled her eyes. "Yeah I got-"
"No you don't. I have the enhanced pony ears. I hear and smell MUCH better than you possibly could." I smirked.
"Oh hush, you." Mom runs a hand through my mane. "You being a human-like female unicorn is...going to take a while to get used to. Would I be correct assuming you'll be Alexis as long as your father's gone?"
I nod. "I really like being a pony..." I blush.
Mom shook her head a little. "Just make sure not to let your fur clog up the shower drain next time you shower okay?"
How did she know about that!?
"MMOOOOOMM!" I blushed madly.
"I was wondering what that clump of beige and orange hair was."
I growled lowly. "You're embarrassing me, Mom..."
"But there's nobody here but us..."
"Still..."
"Anyway," Mom adjusts herself on the couch and holds one of my hands, examining it," I should do some shopping to accommodate for this. Things like Horse shoes for your hooves, saddle bags, Mane-n-Tail, brushes....salt lick?"
"Mom, stop please..."
"Heh, I should get your father to build you a stable out back."
"MMOOOOOMM!!" I groaned and she only laughed at my suffering.
*****
Elsewhere...
"Have you found it yet?" my commanding officer's voice hissed through my ear piece as I scanned the area.
"Not yet, I think the scanner is broken," I replied as I drove slowly along the neighborhood streets.
"Well, you need to find it and retrieve it before they do. If the orb gets into the wrong hands, who knows what they'll do with that kind of power? We don't even know what it does yet. Find it! Now!"
"Yeah, I'm working on it."
The scanner beeped at a steady pace from where it sat on the dashboard. If I got closer, it would beep faster. Sort of like a metal detector.
"You're not working hard enough then! Two weeks is long enough, agent six!" she snapped.
I grumbled lowly and rolled my eyes.
Beep.....Beep.....Beep.....
"Don't worry, I doubt they've got it. IF only this thing wasn't made to be so hard to detect!"
"Your excuses make my ears bleed, six!"
I turned down another street, slowly driving the car along.
Beep.....Beep.....Beep.....
I watched as people went on with their lives, sitting on porches with nothing better to do. Others were leaving or just arriving home. A few were walking down the side walk, chatting among themselves.
"My apologies."
"You're damn right your apologies!"
I sighed as I came to another intersection. I stood at the stop sign for a few extra seconds to allow the scanner to...scan.
It dinged.
Beep..Beep..Beep!
"Hey, I think I got it!"
"Good, now find it and bring it back to me!"
I turned left, and the scanner began turning this way and that to find in which general direction I need to go.
"Got it."
I failed to notice how familiar the area looked as I drove, watching the silver device, the red light moving from left to right reminded me of KIT from "Knight Rider".
BeepBeepBeep!!
"It's about time!"
The scanner dinged again and ceased its beeping. Finally it gained a lock on and it faced towards...
"No..."
"No? No what?"
I pulled open the laptop that sat in the passenger seat, opening the scanners heat sensing camera.
"The orb has found a host..."
"WHAT!?!?"
I lowered my head and shut the laptop.
"Bring whoever it is back to HQ were it can be extracted! It is vital we get the orb back, agent six."
"I know. I'm working on it." I turn off my ear piece and I stick the laptop and scanner in the glove compartment.
*****
"Mom, I think you're enjoying this too much to be braiding my tail..." I deadpanned from where I sat on the coffee table. Mom had my tail in her hands, doing her handy work.
"Oh hush!" Mom laughed. "I want to make my daughter pretty!"
I wore a bemused expression as I rolled my eyes. "I swear, if I find a single ribbon, I will..."
"Will what?"
"Dunno. I'm thinking." I crossed my arms over my chest.
I smirk, giving her a little swat to the face.
"Hey! You made me mess up!"
I shrug. "Tell somepony who cares."
"Somepony?"
A frown replaces my sly smile. "Did I say that?"
"You did," Mom giggles, resuming to braid my tail.
"No, I said somebody..."
Mom shook her head. "No, I'm sure you said somepony."
"You must be hearing thing, dear mother."
"Whatever you say, Alexie."
"Alexie? You've come up with a nickname already?" My right ear twitches.
Mom nodded. "Just like how I call you Davie."
"Oh."
There was a moment of silence for a short time before a car door was heard closing in the driveway.
"Ooh! Change back, your father's home!"
With a nod, the orange rings appear around my waist and the sequence begins again, leaving me human, just as the door opens and dad walks in with a plastic bag hanging from his arm.
"Hi honey!" Mom canters over to him and wraps her arms around him. "Why are you home so soon from work?"
I frowned. "Something wrong, dad? You seem a bit unsettled..."
Dad shook his head, kissing his wife. "N-no, I'm fine! I need to....take you somewhere."
"Oh, um...okay..." I shrugged.
"I got you a latte, David," dad reaches into his bag and pulls out a Starbuck's cup.
"Oh, sweet!" I take it from him, taking a sip from the sweet beverage.
"Where is it you need to go, honey?" Mom asked, kissing dad's cheek.
"Oh, just going to go out to spend time with my boy!" Dad pats my shoulder. "So let's go!"
Dad kisses mom again and heads out to the car.
"Well that was strange..." Mom glances around a bit.
"Yeah. Well, I best get going." I hug mom. "And thanks for not freaking out about Alexis..."
"Don't worry about it," she returns my hug. "I just hope your braids will be there when you change again so I can finish.
"Hah. Funny. Bye, Mom." I kiss her cheek and I head out to the car.
I get in the front passenger seat and buckle in. "So, where are we going, Pops?"
No answer.
As dad drove, and as I drank my latte, I began to feel drowsy. Dad didn't say a word - didn't even look at me. Try as I may to fight the tiredness, I found myself succumbing to unconsciousness.
Last thing I saw was dad placing his hand over mine and held it as beige fur sprouted.
"I'm sorry..." he mumbled.
BTW: It's not his father's hand that grew fur, it was his own
