Just a Dream, Right?

by ThatTwoGamer
My life was just going along. Then I started having some weird dreams. In and of itself, it isn't that odd. But when the dreams have continuity, and who I am in my dream is saying that I am a dream, I start to worry. But it's just a dream, right?

My name is Everett (you aren't getting my last name). I am a teenager who is just about to go to college. I was home-schooled, but now am enjoying Summer Vacation.

At night, I don't usually dream. I'm one of those people who goes to sleep, and what feels like a few minutes later, wakes up. I have the occasional dream, but nothing creepy or anything like that.

However, I've been having some weird dreams these last couple of days. Each dream by itself wouldn't be weird, except for the fact that I can remember them in exquisite detail. But as a group they scare me.

And that is because they have continuity. And who I am in the dream says that I'm the dream.

But that can't be true, can it? I've been living for almost 18 years now. The other guy didn't even exist for me a few days ago. How can he be real?
