This story will be written in 3rd Person (Or should that be pony?) Either way, Aron Conners is an average person who just wants a normal life. He is a journalist and has just gotten interested in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic because he was paid to write an article for a My Little Pony Fan Magazine. He is invited by his brother Travis Conner to go on an archaeological excavation on an Island near Bermuda. Since they were brothers Travis was hoping to get Caleb to write an article for him, and Caleb accepts of course. While digging Travis uncovers a mysterious artifact, and little to his knowledge it's going to give his brother and unexpected experience he will never forget.

On the other side, Lyra is still obsessing over humans and she really wants to know what they're really like, so she comes up with a brilliant idea to try to contact one. She decides to go to Twilight Sparkle because she is a lot better than magic than her. Along the way she encounters (You guessed it) The Great and Powerful Trixie! Trixie convinces Lyra to let her try to contact a human, so she creates a magical artifact to send to the human world in hopes of finding one. This person just so happens to be Aron Conners.
