The nightmare, Rarity "Dollface" Belle, and a public service announcement

While driving down the highway Twilight decided that she needed some rest after the most recent round. She soon fell asleep in the car and entered her dreamscape. In her dream it showed all her friends and the princesses as well. Twilight was so happy but soon noticed something odd. She soon saw that Applejack had some blood coming down from her mouth “AJ you're bleeding” Twilight said to the farm mare, who didn't respond back.

Twilight was confused then suddenly gasped as Applejack open her mouth and blood poured out as well as out of her eyes which were black as night. She looked at the princesses in which princess Luna was in the same state as the farm mare. Twilight watched in shock and horror as the two then collapsed and died twitching. She then saw Rainbow Dash as Ms.Grimm looking at Twilight with glossy black eyes.

Soon all her friends wore the same expression on their face: glossy black eyes staring at Twilight, with the exception of Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie who was as Sweet Treat. She looked at Celestia and saw that she was also different. Celestia was wearing a black suit with a black undershirt and blood red tie, her once flowing multicolored mane was now hanging down on her shoulders black as night. Her magnificent magenta eyes were now a glowing red.

“So……” Celestia finally said to the pale and scared Twilight “after fifteen whole years…..you're still alive. And somehow a alicorn as well.” Twilight then realized that this was Celestio, somehow using the dreamscape spell Luna did. “But…...I'm not from this world. I'm from a different Equestria.” Twilight said to the founder of the tournament.

“Oh. Well now that I know that” Celestio said “you just remind me so much of her. To bad I want to kill you to but…..since I am the founder of Twisted Metal…..maybe I can change the rules a bit. Hope you enjoyed your dream Twilight Sparkle. Now you face reality.”

Suddenly Celestio formed into a tall flaming demon and formed around Twilight. All around her was fire and pain, her ears were filled with hundreds of screams and her eyes were going black as blood came down her face. Twilight screamed but only a gurgling sound came as she choked on her own blood. All she could hear before entering the darkness was Celestio laughing maniacally.

Twilight snapped awake in her seat. Inside the car was silent besides of Speedy's breathing and the pitter patter of the raindrops hitting the windshield. “Where…...are we?” Twilight said to Speedy as he drove down the dark highway. “Just pasted Dodge Junction” Speedy said “about six more hours before Las Pegasus.” Twilight noticed that the radio was lit up and fiddled with the knob. “Something other than static will calm our nerves” she said with a small grin. Soon she found a station but soon realized it was the tournament station.

“And now we have another driver from the tournament speaking with us. She's from Ponyville and drives the Peterbilt 630 semi called Darkside, I present to all our listeners…...Rarity 'Dollface' Belle!”

“The pleasures mine darling.” Dollface said to the DJ. Twilight then realized who was talking on the radio “Rarity?!” The DJ then coughed and started talking again. “So miss Dollface. Could you please tell the listeners why you're competing in the tournament?”

“Why of course darling. About thirteen years ago I was a fashion designer. I always loved and dreamed to be Equestria's most famous superstar but had to face a little competition. I did what any lady would do: cheat. Saw off parts of shoes, tatter dresses, ruin mane styles, hell I've even killed other models. I dreamed to be at the top and I was gonna get it. Until one day I got in a unfortunate traffic accident and ruined my beautiful face.”

“After almost a dozen surgeries and therapy most of my beautiful face was fixed…..besides one terrible scar above my lip. I soon went to see another fashion mare in Manehatten and worked for her. But after a little accident she attacked me and put this mask on my face. No matter how much I try it will never come off. Point blank gunshots, corrosive materials, even simple lockpicking, but nothing is gonna get this damn mask off.”

“I entered the contest for a goal: remove the mask and give that bitch who put me in this hellish maskwhat she deserves. Then I'll become the greatest superstar in all of Equestria. I appreciate the little chat darling but I must be off. Oh..I also left you a dress in your dressing room.”

The DJ then spoke “Well that was Rarity ‘Dollface’ Belle everypony. And….hold on a sec. It appears that we have a incoming message to all competitors from Celestio herself!” the radio then cut to Celestio’s voice. “Attention all Twisted Metal competitors. I have just received news that a old enemy has reappeared in Equestria: Twilight Sparkle. She plans to use the tournament to find me and kill me destroying the tournament. I know she is currently with the driver Speedy ‘Racer’ Silverstreak.”

“Anypony able to bring down the two ponies must bring Twilight Sparkle to Canterlot for me to use. And Racer…….kill on sight.” the radio then cut to static as Twilight and Speedy looked at each other in shock and worry.

“Well” Speedy said “looks like we now have a bigger problem to resolve.”

Darkness was settled over Canterlot with the sounds of thunder in the distance. Inside the castle in her office Celestio was sitting in her desk talking to the two across from her desk. One of them was black with green bug like wings and chitin, wearing what resembled a horned yak skull while the other was a pink alicorn wearing a flight jacket with a aviation helmet sitting next to her.

“Now….let me make this simple: since you both work for me I own you. Now…...find these two” Celestio points to a old picture of Twilight and a newspaper clipping of Speedy. “I expect this to be done before the tournament is over. I made a similar mistake before and I wish not to relive it.”

The two then got up to leave but Celestio stopped the pink alicorn “Cadence. Stay here. We're still gonna chat. Minion…...go and keep your title.” Minion then formed a sharp, toothy grin and left them both. Cadence knew about Minion before Celestio’s control, she dumped her in a mine and tried to take her husband for herself and left Cadence to die.

“Now Cadence, your only to go after them in case Minion fails. I hope the Talon will be best suited for retrieval. Now onto more…..personal terms. I know you took the contract to help pay off the debt the Crystal Empire owed us but it also means you have to do what I say.”

Cadence knew all to well. After the war with Sombra over the Crystal Empire, they owed a large amount of war debt to Celestio. To save her husband Shining Armor and young daughter Flurry Heart she agreed to work for Celestio and do whatever she wants until the debt is paid off. So far for five years the toll is a lot for Cadence to handle, especially in Celestio’s personal quarters.

Cadence then tried to speak but Celestio closed her mouth with magic and got up from her desk. “ah ah ah…..you don't talk. Now…..down to business” Celestio said as she licked inside Cadences ear making her shiver. “Be in my bedroom in five minutes and we'll discuss…….business.”

Cadence then sulked out of the office towards the bedroom as Celestio looked out the window. She swore she saw a familiar figure in the lighting flash wearing a rope and rimmed glasses, and the faint smell of brimstone.
