There are many things that lurk in the night; creatures of old lie in wait. Waiting for mortals to slip up and enter that abyss which has no way out. I was that mortal this time, I was dreaming at that time when I disappeared into the Night realm.

a pony who was made out of the stars and purple cosmos who had offered me a way out of my world. she said there would be a stallion waiting for me at a masquerade ball. and that i would recognize him soon as i saw him when he revealed himself to me.

I excepted wanting to be set free of my torment and the rest was history
