January 21 – 13:46 – Planet Typhoon (Destroyed) – Abandoned IMC Facillity

Tyler Harrison - Log #32 – It’s been a while since I and XL have been out to investigate after Jack Cooper stopped the Fold Weapon…forgot what it was…anyway, 6-4 was hired to head to the remains of Typhoon…Sarah Briggs of the Militia has sent me back to the IMC Facility where Jack discovered the Fold Weapon as well as Major Anderson. I’m there to torch the site and make sure the IMC can’t come back and try to make another one…we’re still recovering from the battle.

XL & I should be okay, the only thing we’ll have to worry about is Wildlife…and the time paradoxes…Although they shouldn’t happen anymore.

Small breathing was heard as Tyler had his helmet removed and was leaning on a large rock to catch his breath.

“Pilot, do you require rest?”

“No, I’m good…I need the exercise…kinda why I didn’t embark on you, can’t be on my ass all day right?”

Tyler chuckles after his sentence and looks up to his Titan.

“Scanning shows you’re healthy and fine. Walking wasn’t necessary.” XL Crouches as he puts his hand out, hinting for Tyler to get in.

“I’m fine XL...not everyone has a Titan you know, not everyone can just sit down in a cockpit all day and fight with an enhanced AI,” Tyler says as he looks down; looking at his helmet in his hand.

“I am aware that not everyone is a Pilot…not everyone has a Vanguard Class Titan like me either.” XL says as he opens the cockpit.

Tyler looks at XL and he smiles as he puts his helmet back on and embarks onto XL, the Cockpit then closes and XL stands back up, “You should know, you’re a strong pilot…and you have never backed down from a fight, I know what you’re capable of Tyler…and that’s why I am your Titan.”

Tyler chuckles from the speech, he then pats the console, “I’m glad you are XL…how far are we from our destination?”

“Our destination is directly ahead of us.”

Tyler smiles as he activates the controls, “Then let’s go.”

XL marches towards the facility, with his weapon in his hands, the two then reach the facility and see it in ruins.

“Damn, Gates wasn’t kidding…XL bring me up the file report about this place.”

“Accessing…according to Jack’s logs: This place was where the weapon was created and tested…the facility was fine until they first activated it. The Weapon overloaded and destroyed the institution.”

“What about the Time Paradoxes?”

“Unsure…although Jack had a device which helped him navigate the facility which before and after the test,” XL says.

“Well lucky him…” Tyler says as he sighs.

“I detect jealousy.”

“Shut up.”

Tyler exits XL and grabs his R-201 Carbine Rifle along with his Wingman Elite Revolver, “XL, I’m gonna get a closer look at the detonation site.”

“Affirmative, call me if you need assistance.”

Tyler nods as he goes to the bridge with ease, every step he could hear as they were his own. He then spots IMC Grunts and takes aim, “XL, I’ve spotted IMC Grunts…I think Gates, Sarah, and Jack’s hunch was right…they want to recreate the weapon.”

“We must stop them at all costs, take them out, Pilot.”

Tyler then fires at the unsuspecting Grunts as one fell dead.

“Enemy Pilot, Take him out!” One of the Grunts say.

They all then open fire at Tyler as he was running to them. Tyler, dodging all the bullets they fire at him activates his booster to jump across the gap in the bridge.

These Grunts’ aim is worse than a pack of Stormtroopers...fuck gotta stop watching old movies.

Tyler lands on the other side of the bridge and slides to the first grunt and punches him in the stomach then takes his pistol and fires a bullet into his head. He then runs to the next Grunt while dodging his bullets, strikes him in the face with his fist. He then finishes him with a bullet impacting the head. The next Grunt gets a shot on Tyler and fires, the bullet impacts his shoulder.

Tyler screeches softly and then stares at his shooter with a dark stare, he then taps his wrist pad and he disappears.

“Where did he go?”

He then is answered with a knife to his throat. The Grunt next to him watches his buddy die a slow painful death, he then hesitantly raises his rifle.

“He’s using Cloak Ability--“

The Grunt then is shot in the head before he could finish his sentence. Tyler appears in front of the last Grunt with a smirk under his helmet. He then takes his knife out of the other Grunt’s neck and starts running towards the last soul. The Grunt hesitantly fires at the Pilot as well as not keeping his grip on his Rifle.

The mag then empties.

You’re mine now

Tyler slides to him and he fires at his knee then his chest, the grunt screams in pain and lays on the ground while his blood spills. The Grunt looks up to see the pilot pointing a Revolver at his face.

“If I’m gonna die--"

BANG!

Tyler interrupts his last words with a bullet, he chuckles and calls to XL.

“XL, Targets eliminated…get over here.”

“Roger.”

Tyler looks at his Watch to see the time…right on schedule, as well to see XL land behind him.

“Pilot my scans indicate you are hurt.”

“I’ll be fine, just need to walk it off,” Tyler says jokingly, he then looks at the small remains of the Weapon Core.

XL walks past Tyler to look at the Detonation site.

“My scans see that there are still traces of the Weapon here, it is possible to recreate it.”

“Well, then we need to torch the site…You got the spike?”

XL then pulls out a Glowing Beacon-Like Object in the shape of a Dragon’s Tooth.

“Alright, this will gather the data as well as making sure there are no more traces,” Tyler says.

“We must wait for the process to be complete,” XL says.

“Yep…I better treat this wound while we wait.” Tyler says as he starts to undo his armor to see the wound. XL then grabs the Medical Supplies in his cockpit.

Tyler finishes treating his wound and he puts his armor back on, he then checks his weapons and equipment.

“XL, is that thing done yet?”

“95 Percent complete.”

“Perfect, it’s not like we’re gonna be attacked or something any second,” Tyler says with a sigh.

“Possibility of being attacked is 57%...if the Grunts had a transmitter It would be higher…However, I do not detect one.” XL says.

“That’s actually good to know,” Tyler says.

“I recommend embarking so we can leave as soon as possible Pilot.”

Tyler does what he says and enters the Cockpit and sits down and removes his helmet. He looks to see any scratches as usual…it’s a common thing…it held a few battle scars but he kept it intact. He sees his reflection in the visor and looks close.

Tyler had pale skin with Black hair, it was an average style that only reached to his neck, his bangs were on the left side of his forehead. He usually didn't have a beard or goatee but seems its at a point where it was lightly visible, he had a couple scars around the sides of his head and face but that was it. Finally he had Emerald Green Eyes, you could see them shine in a reflection probably.

Tyler sighed as he placed his helmet on his lap and looks to see XL’s HUD, the Spike was complete.

“Uplink complete…We must mark this location for a bombing run.”

“Roger that XL.”

Tyler puts his helmet back on and contacts Commander Sarah.

“Harrison to Briggs, uplink complete…ready to torch this place.”

“Copy that Harrison, The Bombing run will arrive in approximately 2 Minutes, evacuate the area,” Sarah says over comms.

“Gotcha, I’ll see you in a bit.” Tyler says as he cuts comms, “You hear that XL? We got two minutes, let’s get out of here!”

“Copy.”

XL starts marching away from the site with his weapon in his arms, “Another mission complete…” Tyler says as he kicks his boots together and crosses them.

“Do not celebrate yet Pilot…my scans indicate IMC Pilots.”

“What?!” Tyler says as he sits up straight.

XL’s View zooms in and highlights the enemy titans.

“Well shit…oh well, let’s get to work.” Tyler says.

“What class shall we use?” XL says.

“Ronin,” Tyler says as he smirks.

XL’s loadout changes…He then loads his Leadwall, which is a Triple-Barreled Shotgun with a revolver-like magazine, the shots give a huge amount of damage and they can bounce off walls.

The two wait for the Titans to get closer, and then XL pulls out his Sword and sends an Ark Wave towards the First Titan and fires a shot at the second Titan. It steps back after getting hit, as well as the first one. XL then dashes towards the first Titan and impales his Sword through it. The Titan falls down easily, XL then focuses on the second Titan and loads his Leadwall again.

“He’s ours now,” Tyler says with a smile.

The Enemy Titan then crushes his fist to the Earth letting out thermite, the Trail travel towards XL.

“Shit!”

XL puts his Sword in front of him deflecting the attack.

“Fucking Scorch Titans,” Tyler says in an annoyed tone.

Scorch then fires Thermite Grenades and XL Fires Shotgun shells. The two Titans have their Firefight for a while until...

“Pilot, Sword Core ready.”

“Let’s fuck him up,” Tyler says.

XL pulls out his Sword and it glows and sparks with Electricity.

Scorch fires more shots at XL, however, XL deflects every shot and grenade. XL gets close enough and slashes at the Titan a few times, Critically Damaging Scorch.

“Let’s finish it,” Tyler says.

XL then impales the Titan through the Cockpit, “Tyler, my scans show there is no Pilot in there.”

“Then where is he--“

An explosion is heard and an alarm goes off.

“Pilot, the Spike is damaged.”

“What?!” Tyler shouts.

He turns his view behind him to see an IMC Pilot with a Charge Rifle.

“Pilot, the spike…it’s activating.”

“What? It shouldn’t be doing that,” Tyler says.

“The Weapon Traces,” XL says.

“Shit, get it off of us!”

The Spike then explodes taking Tyler and XL with them.

“Uhn…uh…”

Tyler opens his eyes to see he is in the cockpit, however…XL was crouched down and not moving.

“XL?”

Tyler then looks around the cockpit and finds the emergency release lever. He pulls it and the cockpit opens and Tyler steps out of XL to see they were in a light forest.

“How the hell did we end up here? "

THE START OF SOMETHING NEW!!! YES!!!

Titanfall 2 is one of my most favorite games of all time...I play Campaign and Multiplayer all the time...just me in my room playing Titanfall 2 on my Xbox One XD (Anyone here got TF2 on Xbox?)

Anyhoo I am really tired as I rewrote this chapter and wrote chapter two in one night, so...I AM TIRED...BUT I AM DETERMINED.

Oh and one last thing, in case you're wondering why I'm calling XL 'he,' it's because AIs can have different voices like a Male or a Female voice, in this case, XL has a Male AI voice...almost like BT's.

This was the Prologue so it's GONNA be short...first chapter is more longer.

And also to anyone who is confused how they're on Typhoon, to me I don't think all of the Planet was destroyed, we only saw a huge chunk of it get obliterated, so we don't know of the rest blew up or just where the Fold Weapon blew up lol.
