Tyler had his helmet off and he was chewing on an MRE.

“No contact, no map, no XL…”

Tyler sighs as he takes another bite of his MRE

“I’m right here Tyler.”

Tyler looks at XL to see him activate, he slowly stands up and moves his arms and legs around, “Power Capacity at 87 percent, everything should be fully functional…are you, alright Pilot?” XL asks.

“I’m great, now that you’re back.”

“That brings great news to me,” XL says.

Tyler gets up as he punches the Vanguard Titan, “So where are we XL?” he asks.

“Scanning…unknown, however, I have detected life-forms, I assume it is wildlife.”

Tyler then picks up his Wingman Elite, “Are they hostile?”

“I do not know.”

“We should get out of here before we find out, conserve ammo.”

“It is not easy for me to hide,” XL says.

“When did I say anything about hiding?” Tyler says as he smiles.

The two walk forward, exiting the forest, they both then look up to see a Pink Sky.

“Definitely not a Frontier Planet,” Tyler says.

“My scans show Life-Forms…attacking the sky,” XL says.

Tyler looks up and sees...dark...bugs slashing against the "Sky"

“Wait a second,” Tyler looks closer to see the Sky start to crack, “That’s not a sky, that’s a shield! This place is under attack!”

XL then loads his Leadwall for action, “Recommend you embark Tyler.”

“Not yet…I need to see what they are.”

The Shield then fully shatters into pieces as Bug-Like…horses invade the city. Tyler then rides on XL’s Shoulder as the two enter the city. The two start to walk through the streets of a town…the bugs starting to touch the ground around them but not close…most were heading for the large castle in front of them.

“My guess is…Monarch Country and these things do not like them.” Tyler says.

“Help me!”

Tyler and XL look ahead of them to see a…Grey little horse with wings…she had blonde hair and had a small filly with her…a daughter? The bugs surrounded them and started to close in…the horse holds her daughter close…tears starting to fall…as the bugs screeched and got closer.

“6-4 coming in hot!”

The bugs and the two horses then immediately look to see two figures heading towards them…a creature covered in light armor and clothes…and a giant metal creature, “Targets acquired,” XL says.

“Hold your fire, don’t want to hit the civies…use only if those black things get close to you!” Tyler says.

The Pilot sprints towards the creatures as he takes out his Wingman Elite and fires at two of the creatures, immediately going down as they were hit in the head.

The other creatures hiss violently for their dead allies, they immediately head to attack him.

Tyler looks at the creatures as they fly to him directly, he only sprints faster, then he slides under them, releasing an Electric Smoke Grenade and a Sonar Blade, he looks behind him and sees the creatures highlighted in the smoke as they were being electrocuted. The Pilot loads his R-201 and fires at the stunned bugs, each going down as the bullets fly straight through their bodies and skin.

XL used his sword to take out the bugs easily around him, he even stomped on some of the creatures below him, and even using his hands and grabbing onto them and crushing them like actual bugs.

“It seems this place has a pest problem,” XL says.

Tyler laughs as he stabs another bug with his Data Knife…he then hears more hisses in front of him.

There was a small army of bugs in front of him…he immediately runs to the two small horses as then suddenly…a copy of himself starts running towards the army. The bugs go for the copy immediately, they start attacking and the copy glows blue from every slash and bite it took…the copy then disappears, the bugs then hiss in anger to where he went…then a shadow towered over them…XL pulled out his Leadwall and aimed at the army.

“Take ‘em out!” Tyler says as him and the two horses were right behind XL…Tyler gets in front of the horses as then XL fires.

The shots hit bug after bug…penetrating and ricocheting into more of the bugs…they explode in a green liquid which seems to be their blood…when XL’s mag was empty, he switched to his Sword and immediately went to town on the creatures…more falling dead, their blood spilling onto the streets of the city.

Tyler sprints and climbs to the walls, running against the brick and concrete as he then kicks from the wall and lands straight on top of another bug, executing it, Tyler then realizes his stupid mistake as he was surrounded by them while XL was dealing with his own, Tyler pulls out the data knife and the bugs swarm him, he jabs one in the eye and kicks another in the jaw, Tyler takes out the knife and spins around slitting another creature's throat, blood leaking as it choked on its own flesh and liquid, the Pilot then grapples onto one of the bugs pulling him towards Tyler who then proceeds to jab his knife against his jaw, the tip of the knife poking out of the top of its muzzle.

Tyler then looked behind him to see another bug ready to strike him, Tyler ejects the knife and kicks the creature from behind, he then grapples the changeling that was about to be sent flying, Tyler then yanks violently on the rope, pulling the changeling to the hard concrete ground, it's face and muzzle impacting hard against it, the creature's blood splattering. The Pilot then pulls out his two sidearms, firing at the rest of the creatures, Tyler then spinning the pistols, puts them back in his holsters and reloads his R-201, firing at the now retreating creatures.

“Targets Eliminated.” XL says as he reloads his Leadwall and holsters it.

Tyler wipes some of the green blood off of his visor and some of the substance off of his bare skin. He then chuckles and turns around, walking towards the two horses, he crouches in front of them…they were a little frightened from what they just did…how they saved them by…killing them without hesitation.

“You two okay?”

The blonde winged-horse looks at their savior.

“I--I--I…” The horse was still in shock.

“T-Thank you, mister…”

Tyler looks down to see the filly as she was the one to speak first. He chuckles and puts his hand out…The filly immediately puts her hoof on his palm.

“You and your mom will be okay…Alright, kid?” Tyler asks.

The grey horse looks at the Pilot and lightly smiles.

“Thank you…for saving us, mister…my daughter and I give our gratitude.”

“Call me Tyler…and you are?”

“Derpy…Derpy Hooves and this is Dinky.” Derpy says.

“Well Derpy, Dinky…you two get somewhere safe okay?”

Derpy nods and stands up, carrying her daughter, both running.

Tyler stands up and reloads his weapons, and checks his equipment.

“Pilot, my energy readings are getting a high signal from the castle there…but the energy is…irregular…I have never come across something like this…I am also picking up Multiple Life-Forms as well.” XL says.

“Can you boost your signal and get a read on what they’re saying?”

XL’s front light blinks as it stares at the castle, at some windows in a high distance.

“Sending you the readings.”

“You won't get away with this! Twilight and her friends will–“

The sound of doors opening is heard.

“You were saying? You do realize the reception's been canceled, don't you? Go! Feed!”

“XL, I think we found this place’s problem.”

“Affirmative.”

Tyler sighs and looks up to where the conversation was coming from.

“XL, I have an idea…throw me up there, then I’ll use my grapple…you go to the entrance of the castle and try to locate where I am so you can assist me.”

“Copy that Pilot, what do you plan to do?” XL asks as he crouches down and picks up Tyler.

“Help and save these…Horses.” Tyler says.

“I believe they are ponies, horses have a bigger structure and muzzle…and the two we saved earlier had wings…they might have been pegasuses.”

“So…Ponies and Mythological Equestrian Creatures…well let’s do what we do best and protect civilization.”

“Affirmative Tyler, good luck up there,” XL says as he freezes and looks at his Pilot.

He gives a thumbs up and XL gives him one back…and throws him up to the windows.

Tyler ‘whoos’ in excitement as the air hits him fast as he flies up.

SCANNING FOR AUDIO_

“It's funny, really. Twilight here was suspicious of my behavior all along. Too bad the rest of you were too caught up in your wedding planning to realize those suspicions were correct!”

“Sorry, Twi. We should've listened to you.”

“It's not your fault. She fooled everypony.”

“Hmm, I did, didn’t I?”

Tyler activates his Grapple and it clings to the castle structure, it was pulling him straight into the window.

As Queen Chrysalis walks around the room laughing, the other ponies in the room attempted to break free of the solid green structures beneath their hooves…no dice.

“We are endless…nothing could stop us now…your princess is powerless, your brother has been emptied of his magic, and you’re stuck like ants to sugar.” Chrysalis says as she keeps laughing…but there was something in the windows behind her that was…getting…closer.

Suddenly, one of the windows shattered as a figure landed in the room.

The ponies stared as it was in some kind of crouched landing position…it breathed as it got up.

“Twilight…what is that thing?” Applejack whispers.

“I don’t know.”

The figure fully stood up and looked at them then the Queen…it chuckled and slowly started to walk around.

“You know I’ve met a lot of pretty bad souls out there, but you seem clichéd, but at the same time…if you fooled many in this room except one then this whole situation is clichéd…and possibly whatever plan you have with this land.”

“And what are you insect?” The queen demanded.

“Ha, ironic…since your whole army and yourself look like bugs to me and my friend…I’ll put this very simple for your bug-sized brain…I’m the one who’s gonna stop you.” Tyler says as he shrugs and chuckles.

“And how can you stop me insect?” Two of those bugs appear behind Tyler.

He chuckles and he immediately turns around pulling out his Wingman and shooting the two bugs…they immediately fall dead…The Queen had a shocked expression.

“My children…” Chrysalis whispered to herself.

“Maybe because I’m a fighter, Seeing someone trying to liberate or take over another land is something I really don't like, since well...it basically happened to me.” Tyler shoots near six of the ponies’ hooves, breaking their imprisonment. He smiles and looks back at the Chrysalis.

"A fighter huh? Well then,” The Queen immediately attempts to pounce at Tyler, “Face me!”

Tyler jumps back as Chrysalis attempts to slash and bite him, he reloads his Wingman Elite and fires a couple rounds at Chrysalis…some hit her forelegs and body…they hit her, but she was still attacking at full force as she attempts to hurt the Pilot.

She’s strong alright, this might take a while…but not too long.

Tyler smirks under the helmet and he boosts jumps up to Chrysalis’ head and he slugs her across the muzzle, Chrysalis grunts and hissed violently.

“You know, you’re way stronger compared to your ‘Children,’ I had to take care of a lot of them down there.” Tyler chuckles trying to get Chrysalis more vulnerable in her emotions.

“What?! How many of my children have you slain?!” The Queen demands.

“I dunno, I wasn’t counting.”

Chrysalis yells as she immediately dashes and strikes Tyler, sending him towards a wall. The Pilot grunts as he falls to the ground…he looks to his right and sees a Pink Pony next to him who had a horn and wings…he decided not to question it as he quickly takes his Data Knife out and cut her out of the sticky imprisonment as well.

“Okay, if she immediately wants to get serious then serious I shall be.”

Tyler pulls out an Arc Grenade and throws it at Chrysalis, electrocuting her for a short time, as she was stunned, Tyler fires his R-201 at the Queen, making her take more damage.

“Once I’m done with you…you’re gonna have more holes in your body than you did before.” Tyler says.

Chrysalis growls and attempts to strike him again, Tyler then presses a button on his right glove and when that happened…The Pilot disappears leaving fragments behind as they floated upwards as the Queen stricken at nothing.

“Where did you go?!”

Suddenly fragments came back and Tyler appeared behind her, he then jumps on top of Chrysalis and stabs her back with his Data Knife.

“Behind you,” Tyler says as he chuckles, twisting the Knife in her.

“Agh! You can Teleport?!”

“Well…it’s actually called a ‘Phase Shift’ but call it what you want.” The Pilot says, he takes the knife out and pulls on her mane…riding her.

“Got you now!.” Tyler shoots a few bullets below Chrysalis hooves which makes her jump as she was now hurt and was making sure she wouldn’t take more hits.

“Dance, Queen!” The Pilot laughs as he keeps laughing and shooting.

Chrysalis’ horn glows as she hisses, Tyler then started glowing and floating…

“Oh shit, she can levitate things…”

Chrysalis yells and throws Tyler around the room…breaking windows, smashing him against walls and pillars, “YOU KILL MY CHILDREN, YOU HURT ME, THEN YOU HUMILIATE ME?!” Tyler is thrown at a couple of ponies which he lands on them and immediately rolls off of them…a Purple Pony or Unicorn and an Orange Pony with a Cowboy hat grunting in pain with Tyler.

“I will tear you apart limb by limb creature...I will do so slowly as I make sure you die painfully and unforgivingly.” Chrysalis walks towards Tyler.

Tyler grunts tapping the side of his Helmet, “XL, where the hell are you?” Tyler says.

“Right behind the doors.”

Chrysalis and the other ponies look towards the door as they heard a deep…cyber voice.

The doors were then kicked open as XL showed up finally, “Protocol 3, Protect the Pilot.” XL immediately starts shooting Chrysalis with the Leadwall which incidentally hurts her a lot…

“What took you so long you son of a bitch?” Tyler laughs as he grapples at XL and pulls himself towards him…embarking.

“Controls Transferred, Sword Core Ready,” XL says.

“Come and get it Queen Bitch,” Tyler says as he has XL take out his Sword which was charged with electrical energy.

Chrysalis immediately uses her horn to make some green magical…blade appear, she attempts to slash the Titan with it, XL and Tyler together block the attack with the Sword, when she slashed, Tyler saw she was open and he swung at her cheek.

The Queen grunts in pain as the electricity combined with a blade hurt her bad…she went for a stab at the Titan’s cockpit…the Titan phase shifts before she could do anything…XL then appears behind her and slashes at her back…specifically the knife wound, blood spills from her back…she turns around to slash but was feeling weak. XL then swings the sword at her horn which cuts it off.

Chrysalis yells in pain and lies down immediately…rubbing her head where the horn was…she looks up to see XL’s sword was an inch away from her muzzle.

“I think I just stopped you…bug,” Tyler says.

“Are you gonna kill me now?”

“I would, but I think those two already are about to do something,” Tyler says.

Chrysalis looks to her left to see Cadance and Shining Armor both in a heart shape casting a powerful spell…it hits Chrysalis and all of the Changelings, the Queen cries ‘No!’ as she was being sent away…far away from this city.

“All threats are non-existent,” XL says.

Tyler exits the cockpit of his Titan and back onto the floor.

“All in a day’s work XL,” Tyler says as he chuckles and coughs, as he pats XL’s leg…he takes off his helmet and breathes deeply.

“Excuse me?”

Tyler looks back without turning around to see all the Ponies standing behind him…six were pretty multi-colored as the other three seemed…royal…one was being supported as it looked like she took a beating but can walk it off…he turns around fully to look at the ponies with XL at his side.

The Ponies see his face and are surprised from what he looks like…some surprisingly were blushing.

"How are you still here?! You should be gone from here!" A Unicorn with electric blue hair and an old type of Captain's Uniform growled as his horn glowed pink still.

"Whoa, whoa...Come on now! I just took care of your pest problem!" Tyler says putting his hands up.

"Leave now, Creature!"

XL's light blinks and immediately confronts the Unicorn, loading his Leadwall, the Unicorn immediately backs up.

"XL, stand down!"

"Enough! Honey, I understand you are having issues with your trust considering what has just happened but this one just saved our lives and has not made a move against us until you almost exaggerated it!" The Pink Alicorn says.

"I...I'm sorry." The Unicorn sighs and sits back down, looking exhausted.

“Hey,"

The Unicorn looks up to see the Pilot offering him a hand, the Captain gladly takes it and is lifted back up, "I don't blame you, I mean hey a new creature out of nowhere? You had every right to be suspicious, plus you seem like you had a very long day considering what the hell just happened." Tyler says.

"Thanks...w-who are you?" The White Unicorn asks.

"My name’s Tyler Harrison, Vanguard Pilot of the 6-4…and this is my Titan, introduce yourself.”

“I am XL-218901, a 6-4 Vanguard Class Warfighter Titan, you may call me XL," The Titan sheathes the Sword he was holding in his hand and puts a thumbs up, "At your service."

The ponies look at them in awe.

“My name’s Cadence, the Princess of Love.” The Pink Alicorn says.

“Shining Armor, Captain of the Royal Guard…and thank you for saving us.” The White Unicorn says.

Tyler chuckles and puts his arm up and moves his hand at them.

“Please, you don’t need to thank us…it’s our job to protect…from the looks of the place, I’m guessing we crashed a wedding?”

“Well, we wouldn’t be the first wedding crashers,” XL says, reminding them of Chrysalis.

Tyler and the rest laugh as they conversate for a bit.

"So where do you come from?" The White Alicorn asks.

"I have no clue, me and XL were on a retrieval mission and we ended up here...and I'm guessing it was good when we arrived?"

"Yes, it actually was very good that you arrived," Cadence says.

"Now, I think we should clean up, we have a wedding to put on." The Purple Unicorn says.

Tyler and XL were hanging out a few feet away from the dance floor...the Wedding went on as planned, Tyler and XL stationed themselves outside the Wedding to make sure there were no changelings around, The Pilot was sitting on his Titan’s shoulder as the Ponies danced happily.

“Hey XL?”

“Yes, Tyler?”

“What do you think is happening at home?”

XL was silent for a bit then answers, “I don’t know Pilot…However, I bet everyone is alright but probably curious about where we are.”

“Gates would kick my ass if I told her what we did and where we ended up,” Tyler says.

“Agreed.”

Tyler laughs and pats XL.

“Pilot?”

“Hm?”

“I believe finding a way home would be our best option, there is still a war at home we should be fighting,” XL says.

“Yeah…I know, but it wouldn’t hurt to stay here for a while…to figure out how to get home…” Tyler replies.

“Affirmative…this place feels…peaceful, besides from what happened approximately nine hours ago.”

“And what a day it’s been,” Tyler says.

“Excuse me, Mister Harrison?”

Tyler looks down to see a Tall White Alicorn...wait, she was stuck in a cocoon last time he saw her, he jumps down to her and smiles.

“Why hello, I assume...your majesty?”

The Alicorn giggles, "Why yes, I assume..Mr. Tyler Harrison and...XL? I am Princess Celestia Co-Ruler of Equestria and Champion of the Sun."

"Champion of the Sun hm? Well then, I guess you're basically Solaris or a Sun Goddess?"

Celestia giggled, "Something like that, joking aside, I really do want to thank you for helping me and my subjects…I don’t know what would’ve happened if you and your metal friend here hadn’t shown up.”

“Me neither, it’s strange how we came here but at the same time…maybe it was because we were supposed to help you and your citizens.”

“If you and XL need a place to sleep for tonight, the castle is open to you both,” Celestia says.

“Really?” Tyler asks.

Celestia nods.

“Well, it has been a while since I’ve had a proper sleep…or a bed…and it’s a while since XL has had a recharge. We accept your offer.”

“Wonderful…I will make sure your room is ready, you two have fun for now…farewell.” Celestia says.

Tyler and XL look at each other, “She’s very kind.”

“Agreed…Princess Celestia seems to be one who will care for anyone that lives in her kingdom.” XL says.

“And will do anything to protect them all,” Tyler says.

XL nods at that.

“Which means if she likes us, we don't need to worry about a thing. Well besides invaders like that Changeling Queen.”

“Agreed.”

Author's Note

The Titan and the Pilot are already about to get cozy in Equestria XD.

I like how this turned out, I hope you guys don't think the ponies are too quick to trust Tyler and XL but for goodness sakes, they saved their lives and all of Equestria, so of course they're gonna be praised...kind of a break from my characters usually getting shit as soon as they set foot in Equestria xD
