Desperate Measures

And so their lives returned to what they used to be before they met Sanguis... Or, well, at least they did until the moment one of the nomad stone giants returned to their land and threatened to destroy everything they love as a form of revenge for depriving them of their leader.

Powerless to stop the giant by themselves, the ponies just panicked... Many tried to just beg, but the giant only kept on laughing and terrorizing everyone, but as it kept laughing, the ponies stopped panicking for a moment as they started noticing something rather strange about the giant. Even aside from the fact that it had not caused any actual damage and had only been laughing and making promises that it had yet to fulfill over the last half-hour, there was still something off about the way it laughed... It seemed somehow... familiar.

A short while after everypony was done panicking and had simply turned to curiously gazing at the giant, the giant suddenly just shut itself down and sent its pilot flying out... Just as some of the ponies had already begun to suspect, it was actually Sanguis controlling the giant, and as he kept on rolling around the ground in perpetual laughter, the ponies could only stare at him in a deadpan manner.

Insisting that this was nothing more than just a small form of payback for the attempted murder, Sanguis decided to strike a new deal with the ponies. Seeings how nothing brought him more joy than seeing someone's face turning pale from one of his pranks, he agreed to defend the ponies from any future threats if they promised to not protest against him coming around and pranking the innate colors out of their faces every now and then.

And so it went on for quite some time...

But then, one day, the ponies decided to give Sanguis a taste of his own medicine and prank him... and, boy, did it not go as planned...
