"Dead fingers talk. Dead fingers whisper. Dead fingers claw at one million eyes..."

The throne room was filled with darkness, the once vibrant crowd, replaced by silent shadows.
A ink like sludge flowed throughout the room, dripping from my eyes, dripping from their eyes, Dripping down the walls, the dark substance surrounded me locking me in place and forcing my mouth open. the liquid slowly sucking the light from my soul.

The colourless doors at the end of the throne room opened to reveal two winged beasts with vicious looking horns on their heads, standing behind them was the Crawler laughing manically at me.

"Accept death now... It is so much easier than what is to come..."

It was behind them, now it is in front of me, it thrusts its hand down my throat and its body turned into the inky sludge and it ran down my throat, all I could do was gurgle as I choked on the dark substance. Thousands voices are screaming in my head, It's trying to control me I can feeling it crawling through my insides, there was no pain. just darkness as the Crawler slowly possessed me.

The two beasts walked up to me, the screams stopped when they spoke "You will never escape the darkness. It flocks to you. Always." The crawler spoke through their mouths.
Then everything was gone, there was nothing all I could see was black, there was nothing, no emotions, no feelings, just darkness "Haha ! There is nothing left ! You are gone! All gone !"

This land is ours, the world shall fear the coming of the guardian. The dark guardian shall save us.

"Now introducing, Princesses Celestia and Luna of Equestria !" Hobson's voice snapped me out of my trance.

The throne room was back to it's normal red colour, the crowd are cheering and booing as normal, it was just another nightmare, and where the beasts used to be, was the two princesses, bowing down to me. I narrowed my eyes at them.

'Their tainted they have to be, my nightmares are not normally like this, there working for the Corruptor I know it, you think you can hide your minions from me you corrupting son of a bitch'

I gestured for them to rise. As they did they stood there waiting for something.

"You may speak" I commanded with toxicity

Celestia spoke first "Your majesty, let me be the first to tell you what a great honour it is to come to your land and meet you."

I stared at Celestia with hostility "What do you want ?"

Celestia looked at me oddly "Nothing your majesty we here to talk diplomacy and trade."

She is lying, they wish to dethrone us, they want our land, they want us gone a voice whispered in my mind

"If your here for diplomacy you wouldn't bring a fleet of warships" I gestured for my guards to point their rifles at the princesses.

Luna decided to speak "Thou clearly misunderstands us we are only here-"

"Do you honestly think I'm thick, I know you have an invasion waiting to attack us, we sent our fliers to investigate when your ship landed. A ship like yours doesn't travel such a long distance on it's own." I said with venom dripping from my words

There faces darken as they realised that I'm not as dumb as they thought.

"Fine then, we're not here for diplomacy, we're here to overthrow you and free the women here and destroy the patriarchy that torture these lands !" Celestia said with determination.

"Actually were here to free everyone !" Luna corrected her sister

"Well looks like we have an upstart. Do you know who I am princess? I am part of a pure blood line of heroes that descended from a man called William Black, the First Archon of The Old Kingdom. you see a long time a go, three beings of great power came from the void and enslaved Albion, these beings were known as the court, they tortured man and forced them to raise monuments to the void. then one day a blacksmith and his wife had a child. That child was William Black, he was gifted with the 'Power of Will', with this power he would go on to destroy the court and create The Old Kingdom or at the time was named The Kingdom Of Albion. by then his powers were so great that he could shape the very world around him. so princess I seriously hope you reconsider what your hoping to do !" I said whilst standing up from my throne and unsheathed my sword.

Their soldiers are coming prepare yourself

"GUARDS !" Luna shouted very loudly. At the last second I shouted at the guards to get to cover.

Suddenly several dozen ponies with wings burst though the coloured glass, they shot at my guards with what looks like a crystal firing lasers at my guards but the ponies were surprised when their lasers deflected of their armour. My guards then took advantage of this and charged the ponies with their blades, tearing them to shreds.

Several ponies that weren't attacking the guards surrounded me and attempted to hold me hostage "STAND DOWN OR WE WILL KILL YOU KI-ARG !" He never finished his sentenced sentence as I jabbed him in the stomach, then I proceeded to grab him by the neck and hoist him in the air. I then used my will to surround myself in magical blades causing the pony soldiers to back off.

I then stared at Celestia with anger "I JUST GOT THAT WINDOW REPLACED YOU KNOBHEAD !" I crushed the ponies neck and launched my blades at the other ponies, killing them all.

Celestia stared out me with shock "I thought you were just trying the scare us with your 'pure bloodline' but I clearly underestimated you. no matter, me and my sister will destroy you, for we are the goddesses of the sun and moon !" Celestia proclaimed.

I raised my eyebrow at the 'goddesses' part "Ok then, let's see you try." I felt calmer as my body prepared itself for a fight

The 'goddesses' charged me after their horns lit up and each of them summoned a sword and some armour that matched the colour of their tattoo.

When they got close enough I used a pushed spell, and sent them flying out of the throne room. I walked after them, and once I got to them I used another push spell on them whilst they were still getting up.

They ended up back in the throne room struggling to get up, some of my guards tried to take advantage of this but the pony guards kept them away.

"Can't even put up a proper fight, pathetic !" I insulted the princesses as I slowly walked towards them, the ponies tried to stop me from getting to close but my guards just shot them. 'why didn't they do that earlier ?'

Luna looked at me in rage at her horn lit up and she disappeared. 'she teleported, where did she g- oh she teleported in a battle I know where she will be'.

I turned around just in time to block Luna's attack with my sword, Luna looked at me with a shocked look then she smiled.

I looked at her with a grin and my hand snapped back and grabbed Celestia's sword.

I looked at Luna with a disapproving look "Your shocked face turning into a smile gave your sisters attack away, you really are stu-HURK !" I was interrupted by a dagger going straight through my heart.

I fell on my knees as Celestia pulled the dagger out, she then walked in front of me grinning "Weren't expecting that were you," she laughed " men always misjudging the women." she then gave me a hard kick to the face, knocking me over, Celestia then went to finish the job

"GET OF HIM YOU BITCH !" A powerful feminine voice shouted down the throne room.

I quickly kicked Celestia of me and she got hit by a weaved fire and lighting ball knocking her over and burning her fur whilst causing her muscles spasms. Luna turned to the person responsible but I quickly wrapped my will around her, exerting a bone crushing force on her as she fell to the ground.

I got up and wiped some blood of my face whilst trying to stop the blood coming from the gaping the wound in my heart.

The person responsible for knocking out Celestia ran up to me "Grandfatherareyouhurtwheredidtheygetyouisitbadohmygodwhereisyourheart" My Granddaughter said in a panicked frenzy.

She had black hair with blue eyes and on her face was a tattoo of a Guild Seal

My Granddaughter, Princess Serena was the youngest of my 14 grandchildren, at the ripe age of 25, she is a strong woman, just 7 years in the royal army and she's already in the 1st Guild regiment, it makes me proud every time I see her wearing her clockwork armour.

"I'm alright calm the hell down they just took me by surpr-BLURG !" I puked out some blood onto the floor as my wound gets worse. "Get me a health potion !" I rasped out.

My guards ran up to me and gave me a potion. I quickly chugged the liquid life down, its effects happening instantly as my wounds started healing. I dropped the empty potion and walked up to Celestia and I stomped her head till 'm sure her skull is cracked in several areas.

"Radio the HMS Archon, tell them to use the Spire Transit and warp behind the Equestrian fleet, this is a code Black I want that fleet to be slaughtered NO survivors !" I ordered Serena. I then turned to my guards "Take these two to the Spire Dungeon then send them to Bargate Prison after the scientists are done with them." My guards nodded and carried the Alicorns away.
I then turned to what's left of the crowd of people that didn't run away. "Now if you excuse me I need to go to the spire and watch my new ship obliterate those colourful bastards !" I said before teleporting to the Tattered Spire.

Time to see what the Archon can do to the Equestrian fleet

I had to rewrite this chapter because in the last one the King just steamrolled the princesses even though he kind of did in this chapter but the last one just made the King sound to Over powered

Future chapters will be less about the king and about the war with the ARE and the ensuing one with the ANE
