I have a crush?! (Prologue)

Crush. When I was a small filly, around Scootaloo's age to be exact, that word was something that I didn't really like... It was something that meant I had to be told who like me and I knew I liked fillies from a young age but at that time, I just wasn't ready for a relationship...

Years went by... As I got older, I probably went through one or two relationships but they didn't last long...probably 3 months at max...

I had a reason and that reason became more apparent as I got older.

By the time I was around 15, I had been to many, many Wonderbolts shows and that's when I realised that I had a crush and it was my first in a very, very long time...

I had a crush on the Captain of the Wonderbolts!

This crush on Spitfire remained for years and years. She was the only thing on my mind but why would she go for someone like me? Sure, I was a flier like her but I was sure she was straight. I mean, rumours were spreading that she was dating Soarin and that was believable.

What am I going to do? How do I tell her? When do I tell her? Will she hate me?

Will she love me back?
