Twilight and the Commander sat at a table in Pony Joe's Donut Diner. A few hours ago her and the Commander were testing out the Yautja weapons she had with her. First Twilight showed the Commander the retractable spears, then the wrist blades, then the mauls, then the constrictor nets, and then some of the armor and masks, and for the grand finale the plasma casters. To say the Commander was excited about the guns destructive power was an understatement, and under no circumstances did she squeal like a school fully. That's what she said at least, but Twilight will remember that day as one of her best.

Once they were done and The Commander learned how to use them and how to clean them. She also learned about the symbols and what they meant. After that, they ended up going to Pony Joe's for a snack. They both ordered the Baltimare special, which was a regular donut with chocolate frosting and some vanilla filling inside.

After their meal, they headed back to the Castle. On their way there they talked about some different topics, ranging from their firearm accuracy to their skills. Once they reached then Castle the Guards let them in after searching the Commander for anything they thought was dangerous.

"Hey Twilight I think you should ask her about the...thing" Dying said.

"What, no. Besides, do you really think the Commander is the best for getting relationship advice?" Twilight replied.

"I guess your right about that." Dying said. The Commander had caught their conversation with her augmented hearing.

"You two know I can hear you, right?" The Commander said.

"Shit forgot about that." Twilight said as she blushed.

"Your right though, I'm not the best pony to get relationship advice from." The Commander said."Now if you need advice for war or fighting or your just looking for someone to get drunk with, then I'm the mare to talk to." She said with a smile.

"I don't know why, but I think that drink will be happening sometime in the near future." Twilight said as she looked at the castles ceiling.

"Why don't you use those fifth-dimensional powers you have?" The Commander suggested.

"Unfortunately they don't work like that. I can't use them to see into the future, the only things I can do are teleport without my horn, see a few multiverses, some stranger than others, hover without using my wings, and my magic increased, a whole lot actually." Twilight as she remembered what happened on one of her last missions on Earth.

"Well, that's kinda cool." The Commander said as they entered the hallway to the throne room."Anyways where we headed?"

"I want to talk to Celestia about something." Twilight replied.

"About your relationship problems?" The Commander asked.

"Yeah." Twilight replied.

'Wanting to talk to Celestia, hmm.'The Commander thought.'Maybe I should keep asking questions so I can figure out who's she's in to.' She thought and smiled at the idea of once again messing with her counterpart."Soooo, how long you been into this pony, or whoever you love?"

"Umm, I guess I can say since..." Twilight paused and smiled at the Commander."Nice try Sparkle. I know your games, trying to get me to spill the beans, not gonna happen."

Great now the Commander had to find a way to get around her counterparts defenses. But, how?'I'll have to catch her off guard.' The Commander thought.

"I have been meaning to asks this Commander." Twilight said.

"What?" The Commander asked.

"Are you and Major Chrysalis married, if not you thinking about it?" Twilight asked.

The Commander stopped completely, her vision filled with a blue screen. Her brain stopped working, guess when your brain is part computer things like this are bound to happen when something unexpected pops up. Twilight walked in front of the Commander and looked into her eyes. A blue screen with the words"Commander Sparkle.exe has still working, please reboot." Twilight had to suppress a laugh after reading that. Dying on the other hoof not so much.

"Hahahahahahaha! Look at her face, it's priceless, quick take a picture." Dying said clearly amused. One flash of a camera later and the Commander was back.

"What the hell just happened?" The Commander asked.

"Oh nothing just asked you a question and got myself a new wallpaper." Twilight said as she showed the picture of the Commander, with a look of surprise on her face and her eyes with the blue screen."Not so fun when it happens to you is it?"

"Fuck you." The Commander said and turned her head away.

"Aww don't look like that, even sometimes the badasses of the world need a little humiliation, and if you get past the blue screen you kinda look cute." Twilight said continuing to humiliate the soldier.

"Shut up and give me that damn phone!" The Commander shouted.

"You'll have to catch me first!" Twilight said as she started running, the Commander already on her heels. With both mares knowing the castle layout, there was no problem either trying to ambush or avoid each other. The two just happen to run by Luna's room while she was walking out.

"You get back here you bitch, you get back here you bitch!" The Commander yelled as she almost tackled her counterpart.

"Oh your so cute when your angry, I can see why Chrissy likes you!" Twilight said as she caught a glimpse of Luna before she was tumbling down the hallway."Maybe this will teach you not to get involved with other people's problems unless they asked you too?"

"Shut up!" The Commander said getting off of her counterpart.

"Were you two enjoying a game of tag?" Luna asked as she walked up.

"Nope, I was just messing with the Commander." Twilight replied and smiled. The Commander mumbled something under breath.

"Oh, now what's this about other people's problems?" Luna asked.

"The Princesses over here is having relationship trouble." The Commander replied.

"Relationship trouble? Already found a special somepony Twilight, when did that happen?" Luna asked as she turned to Twilight.

"Ummm, for a while now." Twilight said with a hint of nervousness in her voice, that didn't go unnoticed by the Commander.

'Nervous around Luna.' The Commander thought, adding it to her mental notebook.

"How long ago?" Luna asked again.

"T..the first time you came to Ponyville for Nightmare Night." Twilight the responded.

'The first Nightmare Night Luna came to.' The Commander added.

"Was it somepony we met?" Luna asked again.

"Y...you could say that." Twilight responded.

"Are you planning on telling this pony your feelings?" Luna asked.

"Yeah I was, i...I'm just a little nervous they won't like me back." Twilight replied rubbing her hooves together as she sat on her haunches.

'Won't like her back, her crush is possibly a mare. Though judging how nervous she is around Luna, I think I just solved this mystery.' The Commander thought and gave herself a mental high-hoof."Would your somepony happen to be, oh I don't know a mare?"

"Um....y...yeah." Twilght replied. Perfect Twilight was too nervous around Luna, and that means her guard is down.

"Oh my, how does this mare act?" Luna asked.

"Um, she's sometimes funny and then sometimes she can be really deep. Her smell is like that of a bed of flowers, moon blossoms to be exact and lilac. She also really caring and understanding. Her eyes show wisdom and experience. She has a few problems but I don't care about them, she the one for me I feel it." Twilight said.

"She sounds like a wonderful mare. Just be yourself around her, and don't keep any secrets from her." Luna said.

"Thank you." Twilight said. She and the Commander started walking away and when the got around the corner the Commander spoke.

"I know who it is." The Commander said.

"What!" Twilight screamed.

"It was easy once you started talking to Luna." The Commander said and smiled.

"Who is it then?" Twilight asked.

"Luna." The Commander said.

"How did you guess that?" Twilight asked.

"Your nervousness around her, and there aren't that many mares that smell like lilacs." The Commander said.

"I told you to calm your nerves," Dying said.

"Shut up you would have been just as nervous!" Twilight yelled.

"Maybe, but at least I would be able to think straight." Dying replied.

"Suuuurrrrre you would." Twilight said not noticing the looks from the Guards, who were very concerned for their Princesses mental health.

"I would. I'm more coolheaded than you." Dying said smugly.

"What happened to being the same pony huh!?" Twilight asked.

"One pony different personalities." Dying replied.

"What the fuck! I said that before, at least come up with something original!" Twilight said.

Dying shrugged."Whatever."

"Don't make me split us." Twilight threatened.

"Oh no the infamous split, I'm shaking in my proverbial boots." Dying said sarcastically.

Twilight snorted."Whatever."

The Commander was standing off to the side, enjoying the little show she was getting. Twilight's friends rounded the corner and caught sight of Twilight arguing with the air.

"What's going on?" Rainbow asked.

"She's talking to Dying." The Commander replied.

"She can do that?" Pinkie said.

"Apparently." The Commander replied.

"I so need to throw a Congratulations Twilight on coming home and talking to your second personality party." Pinkie said as a notepad and pen appeared from her mane and into her hooves and she started writing down ideas for Twilight's party. The gathered mares all shook their heads and shared a small laugh. Twilight walked over as she had finished talking with Dying.

"Hey girls." She said.

"Hello" They all said with the exception of the Commander and Pinkie...who disappeared.

"Where's Pinkie?" Twilight asked.

"She was right there, but she slipped off to go plan your party." The Commander said.

"Oh, ok." Twilight said.

"So Twilight, Princess Celestia told us that you and the Commander were fighting." Fluttershy said.

"It was training, nothing serious Fluttershy" Twilight said.

"Oh, thank goodness." Fluttershy said relieved.

Twilight clapped her hooves together."So, who's hungry!?"

Three Hours Later

After they ate Twilight's friends left for Ponyville and the Commander went to talk to Celestia about getting a room, and Twilight was in her own guest room alone with her thoughts, well almost all alone.

"If it was that easy for the Commander to find out who my crush is, then I wonder who else knows?" Twilight said to the air.

"It couldn't be a whole lot of ponies." Dying said.

"I know it's not that many, but just how many do know?" Twilight said.

"Know what darling?" Said a voice from the side of the bed. The voice was very familiar to Twilight. She turned her head towards the voice's location, and gasped.

"Ra...Rarity?" Twilight said not believing what she saw right in front of her.

"What's wrong dear Twilight, you look like you've seen a ghost?" Rarity asked.

"B...but your de....dead, how?" Twilight asked with tears flowing freely from her eyes.

Rarity chuckled,"Darling if I'm dead how are we speaking right now. That wouldn't make any sense would it?"

"I guess not, but how is this possible?" Twilight said as she started scooting closer to Rarity.

"Maybe our friendship brought me back to you." Rarity replied. Twilight moved to give Rarity a hug, but when she got her hooves around her dear friend she disappeared in a puff of smoke and the world around Twilight got darker and darker, till all that was left was a sobbing Twilight.

Twilight's eyes shot open."When did I fall asleep?" Twilight asked the air.

"Shh keep it down I'm trying to sleep here." Dying said falling back asleep. Twilight wiped the tears from her face. Damn humans, even here they were making her life miserable. She threw the covers off her body and walked into the bathroom. She turned the faucet handle and splashed water on her face, and when she was finished she looked in the mirror and saw her and Rarity's reflection.

She turned around and looked at the empty room and then back at the mirror. Just herself this time. She left the bathroom and out of her room. She passed many doors and Guards on her way out and when she goes to the door leading outside she opened it and took flight.

The cool afternoon air on her wings was refreshing. Soaring above the clouds with the greatest view in all of Eqquis, and a great way to clear your head.

"Why do I keep seeing Rarity? Either I've still got something in my blood from Earth, or I have finally lost the rest of my sanity." Twilight said.

"Nah, if that happened then nothing on this planet would be alive right now, or we would be encased in stone." Dying said finally waking up from Twilight's constant thinking.

"I guess your right about that." Twilight responded."What is it that keeps making me see her though, hell I even talked to her."

"Well I don't know what could cause that, but that was in a dream." Dying said."It may just that you miss her."

"But why now? None of this happened on Earth." Twilight said.

"It may have been the drugs they were using to suppress our memories." Dying responded.

"Probably," Twilight said as she landed on a cloud. This whole thing was making no sense, couldn't she just get some peace in her life. She wanted to settle down and have somepony special to lean on in times of need and to cuddle with by the fire during those cold winter nights or to just stare up at the stars with. Maybe even adopt a child, that would be nice having someone who called her mom....wait for someone to call her mom?

"WAIT I FORGOT ABOUT SPIKE." Twilight screamed as she remembered that she had her own legally adopted son/assistant/ brother. She jumped from the cloud and flew as fast as she could to the castle. She flew so fast that she created a magenta starburst in the sky that was a lot more powerful than a rainboom.

She landed in front of the castle and the Guard posted there opened the gates for her. She ran past them and the only thing they saw a purple blur.

Inside the castle, Twilight ran through the hallways on her way to the Throne Room where Luna would be, hopefully.

In the throne room, Luna was sitting looking over a couple notes from her last meeting when Twilight walked in.

"Evening Twilight, what brings you here?" She asked.

"Evening Luna. I was wondering if you know how Spike is doing?" Twilight said.

"I'm afraid that I do not have any information on Spike's well being, I have not been keeping in touch with him as much as I should of." Luna responded.

"Do you know if he's still in Ponyville?" Twilight asked.

"Now that is something I can help you with." Luna said with a smile. "He is currently living in the Dragon lands as King with his Queen, Ember I think her name was."

Twilight's jaw literally hit the floor, causing Luna to stare at her with confusion.

"Hey Twilight snap out of it." Dying said. Twilight's jaw went back into place and she blinked again.

"Spike is the king of the Dragon Lands, when did that happen?" Twilight asked.

"Exactly 8 years ago." Luna responded.

"Thank you." Twilight said as she turned to leave.

"Surely you aren't thinking of going to get him tonight, are you?" Luan asked.

"Actually that's what I intend to do." Twilight said as she walked in the door to begin her journey. If her math was correct then it should take her exactly thirty minutes or more to reach the Dragon Lands. She ran through the door out to the Royal Canterlot Gardens.

As soon as she reached the middle of the garden she opened her wings and took flight, creating a gust of wind that blew away the leaves of some trees and uprooted some of the flowers in the garden.

Inside her room, Celestia saw Twilight take off towards the direction of the Dragon Lands. "Flash Sentry, front, and center!" She yelled. A couple seconds later an orange pegasus with a blue mane walked in.

"You called Princess?" Flash said as he walked in.

"I need you to follow Princess Twilight ." Celestia responded. At the mention of Twilight's name Flash blushed.

"As you command Princess Celestia." He said as he left the room and went out to the garden. Once he got outside he opened his wings and took flight. What most ponies didn't know about Flashes cutie mark is that it not only meant that he was a good guard, it also meant that he could move as fast as lightning, and if he were to use his full speed, he could move as fast as the speed of light maybe even faster, which he could use to easily catch up to Twilight who was pretty far off in the distance. The only problem would be that she would be able to hear him coming, so he decided that he would move slowly.

Thirty Minutes Later, Dragon Lands

Twilight landed on the ground and folded up her wings. "It's been awhile since I've been here." She said reminiscing. She started walking forwards but not after calling out for Flash who was hiding behind a rock. "Come on out Flash, I felt you the moment you started following me." She said. Flash came out from behind the rock with a face of confusion.

"How did you know?" Flash asked.

"It's a skill I picked up, now are you going to accompany a mare on her dangerous journey or just stand there?" She responded. Flash blinked and ran to catch up with her. Their journey through the dangerous lands was unusually peaceful. There we no Dragons out and about, no children or parents. The silence was very unsettling for the both of them.

A couple of minutes later they arrived at a tall building made from obsidian, and what looked like iron. They entered through the large double doors. Inside it was cool and there was a blood red carpet that covered the entire floor with some gold trimmings towards the ends of the carpet. At the edge of the carpet sat two golden thrones one with a blue pillow with golden tassels, the other had a purple pillow with green tassels.

"Their not here." Twilight said, surveying the room some more. The tapestries hanging on the wall almost looked like the flag of Equestria, but instead of the Royal Sisters circling their respective bodies, there were two dragons one with blue scales and two white horns protruding from her face with two great wings on her back, the other a purple dragon wing two great purple and green wings and giant green spines running from the top of the dragons head all the way to his tail. Obviously, these were the two rulers of the dragon lands, the two Dragon Lord's, the Queen and King, Spike and Ember!

"Wow, they look so majestic." Said Flash, Twilight nodded at his comment. The doors behind them opened, they turned their heads towards the doors and saw a whole multitude of dragons enter the room. They all wore obsidian armor, with a second layer of iron under it. Their swords looked to be made of diamonds, with obsidian hilts, the helmets on their heads were made form the same material as the rest of their armor and each looked to be designed to fit the wearers head, some even including holes to accommodate for any of the dragons that had spines or horns on their heads or bodies.

"DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE!" Said a powerful male voice. "EXPLAIN YOUR REASON FOR BEING HERE!"

"We're here to see Dragon Lord Spike." Twilight said. The group of dragon guards laughed a hearty laugh. Both Flash and Twilight had looks of confusion on their faces.

"You want to see Dragon Lord Spike, ha don't make me laugh ponies. He may be an ally to Equestria, but he wouldn't waste time talking to little ponies like you." Said one of the dragon guards.

"I think he'll want to see me, tell him Twilight Sparkle is here to talk with him." Said Twilight. The guards shared a look with each other.

"Did you say Twilight Sparkle?" Asked one of the guards. Twilight nodded in response. The gathered dragons all gasped and bowed with respect.

"Um, what just happened?" Flash asked.

"Please let us escort you to his lordship." Another dragon guard said. Twilight nodded.

A couple minutes later they were standing outside a large wooden door with an intricate design on it. One of the guards knocked.

"Enter." Came a voice from behind the door. The guard opened the door and stepped in.

"My lord there is somepony here to see you."

"Let them in." Said the lords' voice. Twilight entered and stared wide-eyed at-

"Spike!" She said. The dragon was no longer his small self, he was tall and muscular, his purple and green scales shined in the sunlight, his gigantic wings were folded up against his back, his spines were elongated and sharp. He had a few of his front teeth showing from the top of his mouth, his snout was also elongated.

"Twilight?" He said.

"Yes, it's me Spike." She said. Spike stood up, easily towering over every other creature present in the room. He shrunk his size to just being a little taller than Twilight was. The two ran towards each other and embraced each other in a hug.

"Oh I've missed you so much, what happened, where have you been, I've looked everywhere for you!" Spike said tears running freely down his face.

"I've missed you too Spike." Twilight said with her own tears falling."You've grown so much, you're even running a kingdom of your own, I couldn't be any prouder."

"Thank you. Oh come you have to see Ember, she'll be glad to see you again." He said as he stood up and started to lead her and Flash to Ember.

A couple minutes later, and they arrived at what looked to be some kind of ballroom. Inside the room stood Queen Ember sitting in the chair reading a scroll.

"Ember look who's here." Said Spike, causing Ember to look up at her husband and company. She couldn't believe it, Twilight Sparkle was back!

"Princess Twilight welcome back! We've all been eagerly awaiting your return." She said as she got up and shrunk her size. She was just a little smaller than Spike.

"It's nice to see you again too Queen Ember." Twilight responded

"Please just Ember, after all we are family now." She said as she hugged Spikes arm.

"Oh, that's right congratulations you two. I'm expecting grandchildren you two." Twilight said. The two smiled.

"Thank you." They said in unison. Twilight's smile faltered a little, that wasn't unnoticed by Spike.

"Is something wrong." He asked. Slicshia was formed and thrown between the two dragons, and into the back wall."Whoa Twilight, what was that for!" Spike said with anger on his face.

"Sorry, our privacy was being interrupted." Twilight responded as she walked past them and formed her crystal fingers picking up the small piece of human technology."Sorry bitches this is a family meeting." She said as she crushed what was left of the small robotic fly. She grabbed the sword from the wall.

"What was that?" Asked Ember.

"It was a tiny robot, meant for spying, made by a race of bipedal creatures called humans." Twilight explained.

"What is a human, what's a robot." Spike asked.

"A robot is a machine made by humans. They are usually made of metal and many different circuits and parts. Some are for building and servitude, some for war. Humans are what I call bastards, at least in my opinion, I mean not all of them are like that just the first ones I initially met. They are an advanced race that acts just like ponies do. Their greedy, bad, angry, sad, caring, and other things." Twilight explained."There's more I want to tell you more about them but, there is a more important thing you need to know."

"And that would be?" Ember asked. Twilight sighed.

"Rarity is dead." She said. Spikes eyes went wide.

"De...dead Rarity?" He stuttered."How?"

"She was taken by the same people, and the experiments they did killed her." Twilight explained.

"WHERE ARE THEY I"LL KILL THEM ALL, TELL ME WHERE!" Spike yelled, with tears running down his face.

"Their already dead, I took care of them before I came back." Twilight told him.

"MY LORDS INTRU-AHHHH!" Said one of the Dragon Guards as he was blasted away. Flash readied his sword, as did Twilight, while Spike and Ember grew in size. A bipedal creature with a red cloak with a hood walked in.

"Hello, 345." The creature said as it addressed Twilight with her specimen number. "The rest of you all can leave, this is between me and her." The creature said pointing a finger at Twilight.

"What do you want with her? Asked Spike.

"Like I said it doesn't concern you." The creature said as it removed it's hood and revealed a face of a human.

"No, it can't be you should have died. You're supposed to be dead." Twilight said frightened.

"That's right Twilight. What's my name." Said the creature smiling at Twilight who was visibly shaking under is gaze, her sword had disappeared, and her legs were shaking. Her eyes were wide and had shrunk to the size of pinpricks and her mouth was slightly open.

"Dr. Blood." She said, the fear in her voice easy to detect.

"There you go my pet, oh how I have missed your screams. When we get back I must simply play with you some more." The Doctor said.

"She's not going anywhere!" Spike said as he flew towards the human, only to be knocked to the side with minimal effort. Flash was hit by his tail and was sent flying out the door. Ember gasped and she flew at the human with rage in her eyes, she opened her mouth and blew fire at him. She stopped and was ready to see the ash pile that was her enemy. Instead of seeing the expected ash pile, standing there was the human covered in some kind of metal that reminded her of obsidian.

"How?" She asked confused.

"Nano-technology dear." The Doctor replied as the black-purplish colored metal receded into the area around the heart."Look at what else it can do." He said as the nano-tech formed around his arm. When it finished there was a big canon resting on the Doctors shoulder. Embers eyes went wide."Surprise." He said as the cannon fired a big blue bolt of power flew and hit Ember in the chest. She flew to the far back wall of the ballroom, crashing through a few tables.

Twilight backed away from the approaching doctor, too scared to even look him in the eye. "St...stay back, get away!" she yelled at him. The Doctor inched closer."I'm warning you!" The Doctor took another step, Twilight fired a massive ball of magic at him. It threw him back a little but did not hurt him. Spike was back in action and saw the Doctor walking towards Twilight. His anger reached a new height when he also saw Ember out cold across the room. With a great roar he flew at the enemy, only to catch a fist to the gut, and then a fist to the chest, another to the gut, then another to the chest. Blood kept punching Spike after each strike increasing speed. After a good thirty seconds, he stopped and delivered an uppercut to Spikes jaw.

The Dragon fell with a mighty thud. Blood smiled and turned back to Twilight."Did you see that 345, amazing wasn't it?" He asked

Twilight was battling with herself in her head. One side of the brain wanted to run and go cower in fear. Another was already crying and curled up in a ball. Then the most dominant part of the mind was a raging fire and was winning the battle.

Blood stepped closer to Twilight his smile never fading. Smoke started coming from under Twilight's hooves. The fear in her eyes was all gone and was replaced with rage. She wanted to kill this bastard, for good this time. She turned into Dying and she launched herself at Blood and they went through several different walls until they were outside. Dying did a flip in the air so that her back hooves were on the Doctors chest. She pushed and the Doctor went flying through some rocks.

Blood removed himself from the rubble in enough time to see Dying fly at him and deliver an uppercut to his jaw. He flew into the air and then Dying blasted him back to the ground, and landed with enough force to make the Doctor go through the surface of the planet. Dying removed her hooves from the Doctors chest and decided that she was going to pound him into the ground. Each punch she threw shook the planet, Her and Blood were well on their way to the center of the planet.

Dying continued pounding Blood's face until they reached a point where the gravity of the planet switched their direction. Dying grabbed Blood's throat a flung him upwards, she then preceded to punch him upwards until they reached the surface and she delivered a punch that sent Blood flying towards a lava pool.

He landed just before it. Dying slowly walked up to him Slicshia forming in her hands."I'm going to enjoy hearing your screams this time Blood." Dying said as she readied the sword to end Blood's life.

"No, you won't." Blood said as he swept her legs from under her and got up. He brought a foot down on one of Dying's wings, She screamed out in pain."Ahh, music to my ears, shall I increase the pressure." He increased the pressure and this produced a louder scream from Dying. Blood smiled insanely, he loved hearing his pets scream and beg for mercy.

Maybe when they got back he would see how long she could survive with a thousand volts of electricity running through her. It seems that his pet wasn't willing to give him that wish, as she pushed him off. She slowly got off the ground, the bones in her wing already reconnecting.

"I see your healing is still good. Your gonna take a nice long acid bath when we get home." Blood said

"Fuck no!" Dying said as she flew towards him. Dr. Blood sidestepped and grabbed the mare's tail, effectively stopping her. Dying let out a small yelp as she was thrown to the ground with enough force to crack it. Blood brought his foot down missing Dying's face by an inch.

Dying once again summoned Slicshia for battle. Blood's nano-tech formed a sharp sword of its own. The two ran towards each other and clashed with each other. They jumped back from each other and stared at each other, one eye filled with anger and disgust, the other insanity. Dying swung her sword to the left and Blood parried with his sword. Blood then swung his sword towards Dying's head and missed as Dying slid under his legs, and when she got through she sliced both of Dr. Bloods legs off, and he fell to the ground. As Dying went to slice his head off Blood used his leg which had turned into a sword of its own to stab Dying in the stomach.

"Ahh, you son of a bitch." Dying said as she dislodged herself from the leg sword. Blood grabbed his severed legs one by one and the nano-tech reattached them to his body.

"You gotta love nano-technology." Blood said as he stood up. Dying's wound healed and with a roar of anger she jumped at Blood, sword in hand ready to slash. Blood dropped to the ground and held his legs in the air. When Dying landed on them he brought them forward and kicked with enough force to send Dying flying into the lava pit.

"OH SHHHHIIIIIITTTT!" She screamed as she splashed into the lava.

"Why did you have to do that my pet, I guess I'll have to find something else for me to test on." Blood said as he started leaving. He stopped when he heard the lava behind him bubble. If he looked close enough he could see some form coming to the surface of the lava.

Dying burst through the lava's surface, except this time she looked different. Dying now had a mane of blue fire, a body of many oranges, reds, and yellows, along with a fiery blue tail that waved in nonexistent winds, and a cutie mark of a phoenix in front of a blue sun. Dying's burning golden eyes looked at Blood."This ends now!" She said, her voice having been distorted by the whooshing sound that were made any time she talked.

"Helios Phoenix, it's been a while." Blood said.

"Silence you miserable cur!" Helios said, her voice shaking the ground."Thou have made Twilight's life miserable for long enough. We shall end thy life and Twilight will be free of thy oppression." She said taking on the old Equestrian tongue.

"We shall see, even with your immense power you can not beat me." Blood said as he formed his cannon again and prepared to fire, but before he could release the ball of energy his arm hit the ground.'What! How did she move so fast?' Blood thought as he saw Helios with a flaming Slicshia in her hands, staring at him with those burning golden eyes. To him it felt like she was staring into his soul, and burn it.

"Did thou really think that we would allow thou's cannon to fire upon us. DIE CRETAN!" She said as she sliced him down the middle.

"Im...impossible, how...how did you...beat meeee." Blood said as he life faded.

"Dost thou thou hath any more words to waste thy final breaths on?"

"I...it *cough* was good...to see you one last time,my......peeet." Blood said as he finally died.

"Goodbye, Blood." Twilight said.

"Are we absorbing him, or no?" Dying asked.

"No. We'll leave him alone, we have enough power anyway." Twilight said."We will bury him though as a show of respect.

Thirty Minutes Later

Twilight was on her way back to the Dragon Lords castle. She landed at the entrance to the towering structure. She walked through the smashed and smoldering pieces of the buildings doors, on her way back to Spike and Ember she ran into Flash.

"Princess! Are you alright?"

"Where the fuck were you earlier!" Dying yelled.

"Yes I'm fine." She responded.

"Why are you taking it easy on this guy! Berate him or something, he left us to beat Blood by ourselves." Dying said.

"Leave Twilight alone, She can make her own decision on whether or not to punish the guard for his inactivity during our moment of need." Helios said.

"And where have you been miss show up when we get thrown into lava!?" Dying yelled.

"Why art thou's emotions so heated towards us?" Helios asked.

"You've been gone awhile and you now just show up out of nowhere." Dying replied.

"What dost it matter to thou, that we were not always present?" Helios asked.

"IF YOU WERE THERE WE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ESCAPE WAY EARLIER THAN WE DID!"

"WE HAVE A REASON FOR NOT BEING THERE! HOLD THOU TOUNGE YOUNGLING, THOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO RESPECT THINE ELDERS, FOR WE WERE BORN BEFORE YOU! WE ARE HER ANGER, HER FURY, HER WRATH, HER POWER! LEARN THINE PLACE WELP! DOST THOU UNDERSTAND OUR WORDS?!" Helios shouted.

"Yes, I understand." Dying said feeling small.

"Good, we are sorry for yelling at thou. A mother should not yell at their foul." Helios said.

'Aww, that's cute, a mother and her foul getting along with each other. Oh how I wish had a camera to catch the moment' Twilight mentally said.

"Hey, this is a family moment!" Dying said.

Twilight chuckled 'I thought we were family?' She teased.

"I guess that's true." Dying replied.

'You want to know something?' Twilight asked.

"What?" Dying said.

'If Helios is your mother, and she was born from me. That makes me your grandma!' Twilight said excitedly.

"WHAT, that's....that.........actually makes sense." Dying responded.

'I know right, I just came to that revelation a while ago too.' Twilight said.

"We are glad that thou have finally come to that revelation mother." Helios said.

'I may be your mother, but still just call me Twilight. Same for you Dying."

"As thou wishes, Twilight." Helios said.

"Sure thing grandma." Dying responded.

'Really?' Twilight said unamused.

"Sorry brainmate, couldn't resist." Dying said.

'Sometimes you are so annoying, you know that?' Twilight said.

"Yet, you still love me." Dying said using a cute little child's voice.

'Curse you and your adorable voice!' Twilight said.

"So mother what was your reason for not being around?" Dying asked.

"We had to keep the other parent under control." Helios responded.

"Ok, that is a good reason for not being around." Dying admitted as she remembered how her other mother was.

"I believe we have arrived at our destination." Helios said.

'Thanks Helios, talk to you both later.' Twilight said as she walked into the Ballroom. Spike and Ember were sitting down on the left side of the room and she walked over to them.

"How are you two feeling?" She asked them.

"A little disorientated." Ember replied.

"That should pass in a little bit." Twilight said.

"What happened to that guy, who was he?" Spike asked.

"He's dead. He was one of the doctors from Earth." Twilight responded. "I knew they were going to send someone eventually, I just didn't think it was going to be anyone I saw die with my own eyes, or that they would send someone so quick."

"What will you do if they send someone else you know?" Ember asked

"If they do, I'll be ready for them."Twilight said with a triumphant smile on her muzzle.

Twenty Minutes

Flash and Twilight were on their way back to Equestria, Twilight had a blank expression on her face. Flash was worried about her when that intruder had entered the Dragon Lords Castle and she saw him, she looked so scared. The only thing on his mind was what happened between the two?

"You don't need to worry about me Flash." Twilight said.

"But Princess, it's my job to worry about you." Said Flash.

"Aww that's so sweet." Said Helios.

"BLEH" Said Dying.

"I know it's job, but I don't like feeling weak, and you worrying about me makes me feel like that. I'm sorry if that came off as kinda harsh." Twilight said.

"No it's alright, I kinda get it. Not wanting to be protected and all." Flash said.

Twilight smiled "Thanks Flash."

"No problem Princess." Flash said.

"Uh-uh, call me Twilight. I'm tired of all that Princess bull crap."

"Ok, Twilight."

The two didn't know it, but their relationship was changing.

The two landed outside the gates of Canterlot Castle.

"Bye Twilight." Flash said as he walked away.

"Bye Flash, we'll have to talk some other time." Twilight said as she made her way to the Throne Room. When she arrived she saw that Luna wasn't there "She must be in her room."

Twilight left the Throne Room and made her way to Luna's room. The hallway was always the easiest to detect as Twilight had lived in the castle for most of her life. Also because it was mostly painted a light blue. Twilight entered the hallway and traveled down it till she reached the door with the moon crescent on it.

"Hi, is Luna here." She asked the Guard stationed there.

"Yes, her Highness is resting. It was a stressful Night Court for her." The Guard replied.

"Oh ok." Twilight said. 'This can give me a chance to get something prepared. ' She thought. "Tell her when she awakens to come down the dining hall. The second one, please. "

"Yes your Highness. " The Guard replied.

"Thank you, and please just call me Twilight." She replied as she made her way to the kitchens.

"Yes your High-uh I mean Twilight." The Guard said.

2 Hours Later

Luna awoke from a blissful sleep and yawned. She hopped out of bed and stretched producing a pop.

"We do so miss the days when we slept like that." She said. She went into the bathroom to freshen up. A few minutes later she exited the bathroom feeling nice and refreshed. She exited the room and the Guard posted there told her that Twilight wanted her to meet her in the second dining room.

She made her way through the hallways and swerving between the servants that worked at night. When she made it to the door if her destination, she caught a whiff of something coming through the door. She opened it to find the room well lit with candles and the table filled pastries, fruits, salads, and soups. She went up to one of the candles and inhaled.

"Lilacs." She said.

"I'm glad you could make it." Twilight said as she entered the room from the servants entrance.

"Yes, well 'twould be rather uncouth for us to deny our friends invitation. Now, what's with all the food." Luna asked

"What, two friends can't have a normal dinner night together?" Twilight asked with a smile as she took a seat.

"I suppose there is nothing wrong with that. " Luna responded as she took the seat next to Twilight.

"Before we eat, we shall drink. " Twilight said as she pulled out a bottle of Moon Whiskey from her pocket dimension. She poured herself and Luna some of the whiskey into the two glasses beside them."Here you go, my friend. "

"Thank you." Luna said as she grasped the glass in her magic and took a sip."Delicious. May we ask where thou hast found this?" She asked.

"Spike gave it to me. He said to use it for a special occasion, and this occasion is special enough for me to use it. " Twilight replied.

"Well, we are honored that we can be part of this occasion." Luna said. After they finished talking they started eating. Luna chose the cheese and hay soup and fruit salad while Twilight chose the tomato soup, and fruit salad.

"How is everything?" Twilight asked.

"Delicious." Luna replied. Twilight smiled.

"Good, I told the staff to prepare everything to your liking. " She responded.

"Oh, well thank you." Luna said. After they finished eating their meals they went on to dessert. Luna chose the cheesecake with the chocolate chip ice cream. Twilight decided to choose the cookies and cream cake. The two sat in silence as they ate some glances and smiles were thrown around, to be honest, this was awkward for both of them.

'I thought I was ready for this.' Twilight thought.'You asked her here tonight because you thought you were ready, the evening is going well and all, but you still can't tell her. Just shout it out, let her know how you feel, and if she rejects you, you'll both still be friends, even though things might be awkward between you two for awhile So take a deep breath and tell her.' Twilight told herself.

"Are you alright?" Luna asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah, just thinking is all." Twilight replied looking up.

"It looked like there was something bothering you." Luna said.

"Nah, it's just...Luna, there is something I have to tell you, I can't keep hiding this. Twilight said as she looked down.

"What is it? It isn't anything bad is it?" Luna replied.

"Luna, the first time I saw you, all the way back to when me and my friends freed you. You were one the most beautiful mares I had ever seen in my life. I didn't know it then, but I had started to develop feelings for you, and that first nightmare night is when I realized that I liked you more than just a best friend. Those nights when we hung out together and looked at the stars and talked about them, those times when we had lunch together, and those times when we just talk to each other through letters. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Luna, Princess of the night, mistress of war, the mare that stole my heart, I love you." Twilight confessed.'YES FINALLY. Congratulations Twilight, you finally told your crush how you feel, now kiss her you fool.' She told herself. Twilight placed her lips on Luna's, and closed her eyes.

Luna did nothing to stop her.

"Aww isn't that romantic?" Said a familiar voice in Luna's head.

'It can't be, Nightmare?' Luna asked.

"The one and only. How have you been my love?"

'Don't call me that. Just because I let you in doesn't make us lovers.

"Luna, Luna, Luna. You know how us Nightmares view those that let them in. When a being allows their nightmare to take over, their relationship becomes more intimate, and the more time the spend together the more their relationship grows, it grows until us Nightmares view it as a relationship like lovers have." Nightmare Moon explained.

'And just how well do these relationships work out for those beings who don't want the Nightmare anymore?' She asked.

"Well, I guess the closest thing you could relate it to would be a loveless marriage." Nightmare responded.

'Oh, and what would you call our relationship? Luna asked.

"Me personally? Well I guess I would call it a marriage with a neglected spouse and child."

'Child? ' Luna said with some confusion.

"Yes a child. In fact said child is the one kissing you on your lips right now.

'How would that even be possible, I didn't meet Twilight until she freed me from your control.' Luna said with disbelief.

"Maybe some of my memories will help you remember."

After the words left Nightmares mouth, memories of those cold nights on the moon came rushing back to Luna. She remembers watching a dying star and taking some of it's essence and moon dust to form a alicorn child. She remembers putting some of her own magic and life essence into the child. She remembers a purple filly opening it's eyes and looking at her with curiosity, she remembers said filly crying. She remembered having to feed the filly, she remembered having to protect the filly from the creatures of the moon. She remembered building them a place to stay.

She remembered naming the little filly. She chose the name carefully going over everything she could remember. She had it, it was the perfect name for her daughter, Twilight Sparkle would be her name. Her purple coat reminded Luna of the sky she would see sometimes when her and her sister preformed their duty of raising and lowering the celestial bodies. Sparkle because she was born from a star, and stars always sparkled even when you couldn't see them.

She also remembered they were never alone, there was always some pony else with them. She had pitch black fur, her armor was light blue, her mane was a smoky blue, she had sharp teeth, she was taller than her, she always had a fanged smile, her eyes looked like they belonged to a snake. She remembered this pony always staying and playing with her daughter, when she had to go hunting. She remembered sharing a bed with this mare, she remembered the things they did together. She remembered when they would travel across the moons surface, all three of them. She finally remembered this mares name. Nightmare Moon.

The one she once thought was responsible for what she thought was a thousand years of loneliness. But now she knew that this mare was not a wicked mare of darkness, but a gentle, and kind hearted mare that cared for her lover and daughter. A mare that will sacrifice herself for the happiness of her lover and her daughter.

'Nightmare, I'm sorry, when I was released from your presence, the elements must have made me forget these memories. Why are you now just reappearing, my love?' Luna said.

Nightmare Moon squealed, her lover finally remembered her."I have just gained enough power over the years to finally be able to talk to you." She explained.

'I glad we can talk again after all this time. Just one more thing?'

"Yes my love?" Nightmare said excitedly.

'How did Twilight get from the moon to the planet? ' Luna asked.

"Oh that's an easy question my love. We created a star basket and using some of our combined magic transported her from the moon to Canterlot." Nightmare responded."By the way you should probably get Twilight to stop kissing you and tell her the truth about her birth."

'Ah, yes I should probably do that.'

Twilight was enjoying this kiss, she cracked on of her eyes open to see Luna move back.

"Uh, Luna is everything alright?" Twilight said in a worried voice.' Oh I fucked up didn't I? I didn't break her did I?' She thought."Are you alright Luna?"

"Twilight" Luna said slowly"I... I can't love you in that way." Twilight heart sunk as the words left Luna's mouth.

'Come on Twilight, you knew this a possibility, don't *sniffle* don't you dare cry.' Twilight thought as a small tear fell from her eye."I'm sorry for wasting your time Luna, I'll just leave."

"No, Twilight there is something you need to know." Luna said.

"No I get it you already found somepony else." Twilight said as she prepared to leave. Luna put a hoof on her shoulder to stop her.

"That is not the reason." Luna said.

"Then what is! Am I not good enough, is it because I'm a mare, am I too young, or is it because you just view us as friends, JUST WHAT THE FUCK IS THE REASON?!" Twilight yelled.

"The reason is... because I am your, I am your birth mother." Luna responded

"What?"

"I am your mother."
