To Hell and Back
Welcome to the Unstoppable Program
Previous ChapterNext ChapterMy body feels so sore. How long have I been here? A week, A month, a year? My body feels like it's trying to tear itself apart, I feel sick, my horn hurts, my hooves burn, my wings don't function right, my taste buds feel assaulted, my nose can't take much more of the smell My mouth feels all wrong.
I'm cold, hungry, thirsty, wet, dirty, angry, sore, and homesick. I miss my bed, the good food, my friends, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Cadence, Shining, Flurry, mom and dad, everything that made Equestria home.
I miss it all.
"Then stop sulking and do something to get home. Just sitting there thinking about it isn't gonna do us any good." Dying said.
"I guess I also miss having my own thoughts too." Twilight said hoarsely and coughed a little.
"Don't use you lungs to speak to me, they've been damaged enough. Use your thoughts." Dying replied.
"How do-"
"I said use your thoughts! Just concentrate and your brain will do the rest." Dying explained.
Ok just concentrate.
'Is this better?' Twilight asked.
"Yes." Dying replied."Now I know that your in pain and everything, but just try a look around for anything that could help us get the fuck out of here."
'Okay I'll try' Twilight replied. She painfully lifted her head slowly as any fast movement would gift her with a shock from her collar. She opened her bloodshot eyes and looked around the dark room.
'I can't see anything it's too dark.' She said.
"Here hold on a sec." Dying said.
'What are you going to do?' Twilight asked.
"You'll see in just a second." Dying replied. A couple seconds later the entire room looked a lot brighter.
'How did you do that?' Twilight asked.
"That's how I can see originally, and since we are the same pony. So since we are the same you can get the traits I have and in vice versa I get what you get." Dying replied.
'I going to try and look around again.' Twilight replied. She slowly turned her head to the right and saw the door that led to the hallway. She turned her head left and saw the few monitors in the room that had all her stats on it. She looked around her fourteen by ten by twenty cage and saw a few rusted bars on the right, while the left side still looked relatively new.
They gave her a small straw mat to sleep on, a small bowl to eat from that they put just a little bit out of her reach, and they removed the chains from her hooves since she barley had any strength to stand. They had placed a stronger inhibitor ring on her horn than last time, it was beyond her to even try and figure out how they got the schematics for making a inhibitor ring. And for some odd reason she was growing, more than she should have. She had done experiments that would show her how tall she was going to get. Since her and Cadance were not naturally born alicorns they wouldn't grow as tall as Celestia. As it turns out Celestia was at the maximum height a female alicorn should achieve if they never had an impeding force to stop their growth. In fact Luna would be the same size as Celestia if she hadn't been corrupted by the Nightmare force and sent to the moon. Celestia reached the maximum height seven-hundred and thirty years into her single hoofed rule of Equestria. Since Luna was born five years after Celestia, she would have reached that height five years after Celestia had. She didn't do the math but it should take Luna approximately a hundred and twelve years to grow to the maximum female alicorn height.
Her and Cadance were at least supposed to grow the size Luna is now, or just a little taller than she is. Right now though, she was Luna's height. Her mane was longer, and her bangs covered her eyes, her horn was longer and slimmer, and the point at the top sharpened a little. Her wingspan was a little bit longer than Luna's, and she started to get some coloration in her wings, like Cadance had. She also had scars running throughout her body. Having grown so much, the collar around her neck now felt like it was made to constantly choke her. All in all there was really nothing in this room that could help her escape this place.
'There's nothing here that could help us escape this place. All there is are the walls and this faust-dammed cage.'
"Well that's disappointing." Dying replied. She felt a presence coming towards her and Twilight."Jack is on his way in. Oh great lunch is here."
'Well at least he's nice to us.' Twilight said. Jack turned out to actually be a nice pon-person. He always tried his best to clean any wounds that always reopened or any wound that was never treated properly. And unlike most of those sadistic bastards actually cared for her well being.
"He's still human, I don't trust him." Dying replied. The door to the room opened and Jack walked in holding a gray plastic tray.
"Hey Twilight." He said as he unlocked the cell door."I finally managed to get you some fresh fruits this time." He said as he placed the tray down in front of her.
"Thank you Jack." She said as she tried to eat one of the apples on the tray.
"Do you want some help?" Jack asked. Twilight nodded. He picked up the apple and brought it towards Twilight's muzzle. She took a bite and moaned as the taste of a fresh apple assaulted her taste buds."I knew you would like it."
"Once again thanks." Twilight said with smile.
"No problem Twilight." The two of them sat for while. Neither said anything as the silence reigned on. Twilight squirmed a little as Jack put his hand on her head and started stoking her mane. It was a nice feeling, it reminded her of when her mother used to wash her mane when she was a filly. This was her only escape from the hell she has had to endure since she's been here.
After a while she ate a few more fruits, and drunk the glass of water. Jack wiped her mouth with a napkin. He picked the tray up and walked out the cell. "See you later Twi."
"Hey, only my friends call me Twi, I guess it's a good thing your my best." Twilight said.
'Heh, yeah best friend of the year. I feel bad doing this to her.' Jack thought.'They did something to that fruit I just know it.' He thought as he walked down the hallway. He knew that the people in this complex liked to put things in the subjects food.
He had checked it before he gave it to her but, he couldn't find anything that would indicate they did something to it. It also didn't help that he had limited tools. Plus if he didn't return in the approximate amount of time it should take him to bring the subject's lunch the doctors and guards might get suspicious. It wasn't fair to her. He continued on his way to the kitchen where he would return the tray. He entered into the kitchen and set the tray in the sink.
"Hey Jack, how'd it go with the subject?" A voice said from behind him. Jack turned around to see a short woman with long blonde hair, wearing the same blue medical scrubs he was wearing, and she had on some black and yellow sports shoes. She had a rounded face and she didn't have that much make up on. She had green irises, and long eyelashes.
"Oh, hi Martha. Yeah everything went fine with Twilight. She was still a little weak from the last experiments, so I had to help her out." He replied. Martha was pretty new to the job of alien caretaker, so Jack was assigned to her to show her the ropes. She was his shadow. She just got done feeding her fist Alien on her own today." Oh how did your assignment go?"
"Oh, it was actually pretty good. Wasn't nervous at all." Martha replied. Jack lifted an eyebrow
"Uh-huh , sure you not saying that only because you were behind the glass?" Jack replied.
"What, no." She replied.
"Yeah sure whatever." Jack said. He knew she was lying. Everybody that was new to this line of work had their first scare when they started feeding the aliens. That's just the way it was. It really did depend on which alien you were assigned to feed first.'The Kulotch was a pretty scary first one to feed all by yourself.' He thought.
"Hey Jack, I've got a question for you." Martha said.
"Yeah, what is it?" Jack responded.
"Why did you call the subject Twilight?" She asked.
"Oh, did I? Sorry I didn't know." He responded. He really didn't like that weird subject ID they gave her.
"Oh, okay." She said. The two of them left the kitchen and they headed towards their assigned scientists lab. As they entered the completely white room, they saw many different lab tables. Some filled with many different chemicals, others with papers, and empty beakers. In the middle of the room there was a large gray centrifuge. On the left side of the room there was three large test tubes. On the right side there were many blackboards filled with many notes, drawings, and statistics. Towards the back of the room there was a rectangular table. On the table there were still a small amount of visible blood stains form their doctors test subjects. Speaking of their doctor he was nowhere in the room.
"Hm, I thought he be in here." Jack said.
"Maybe he's still in that meeting he was talking about earlier." Martha added.
"Or maybe I'm just getting back from it." Said a male voice behind them. They both turned around to see a tall white-skinned man, with white hair, blue eyes and a large smile.
"Oh, Doctor Blood. How'd the meeting go?" Martha asked.
"Boring as usual, it was just another meeting for taxes. I swear their always wasting time. I could've had all my paper work done, and got to my experiments." He said with a frown. "By the way how is 345 doing?"
"She's fine. She was still a little weak from the recent experiments, so I had to help her eat." Jack replied, he really did despise that subject ID.
"Do not refer to it as if it were human. When your in my laboratory you refer to all subjects by their ID, or you say it, are we clear?" The Doctor said in a serious tone.
"Yes, Doctor." The two attendants said.
"Good. Now we must prepare it for its training." Blood said with a smile.
"Training?" Jack said with an eyebrow raised.
"Yes, training. It is part of the Unstoppable Program, remember. That was also a topic discussed at the meeting. It has went through and survived all its experiments and all enhancements have been completed, so now it's time to start on its training." Blood explained. "The food you gave it had a drug that should increase its strength. All food you serve to it from now on will have the same drug in it."
"Understood." Jack replied. 'I knew they put something in that food.'
"Go get it ready. You have a guard escort waiting outside its room for you." The Doctor reached into his pocket and pulled out a syringe."Use this to tranquilize it."
"Are you sure it's enough to do the job? " Jack asked. The Doctor gave him a blank stare."Of course you're sure." Jack stepped outside into the hallway where his guard detail of at least fifteen people were waiting, armed with tranquilizer guns and wearing special made fiber armor. They traveled down the hallway towards 345's room.
Twilight's ears perked up to the sound of the door opening. She looked up to see Jack walking in."Jack, what are you doing back here." She asked.
'He's not alone this time either. I fell at least fifteen more presences outside of the door.' Dying said, she sniffed the air and caught a whiff of the drug that was in the syringe.'He also has a syringe, with some sort of drug in it. I told you not to trust him.
'Dying that's not fair. You and me know just how much he hates doing these things, it's just his job.' Twilight said trying to justify Jack's actions. Dying said nothing to respond.
"Oh hey, Uh look Twi." He started lowering his voice."They want to start your training since all the experiments were successful. I have this syringe here with a drug that will make you unconscious for a short period of time. There's like fifteen guards out there all armed with tranquilizer guns and wearing body armor. So I know how much you hate needles, but I need to inject you with this."
"It's alright Jack, I understand. Just be gentle." She said closing her eyes. Jack injected the sleeping drug into her and she was out like a light in no more than five seconds. Jack called the guards in and they came in and put her on a large stretcher that four of them had to carry. Once they entered the room where her training would take place they removed her shock collar and the inhibitor ring from her horn. After doing so they rushed out the room and closed the door and locked it through a series of complex locks and codes. The wall adjacent to the door of the room was a one way mirror. On the other side were a group of scientists and attendants preparing to take notes on the subjects performance. One of these scientists were Dr. Anderson. The older human scientists sat in the front row of seats. On his right was Dr. Rush.
"Dr. Anderson which alien did you choose for her first training mission?" Rush asked.
"The X1785-drone. " Dr. Anderson responded.
"Isn't that a little too intense for it right now. " Rush asked.
"She'll have no problem with it. " Anderson said not giving Rush his attention.
Back in the room Twilight regained her consciousness and stood up. She looked around the barren white room. "Hello any one here? " She turned to the wall that the scientist were behind and looked at it suspiciously.
"There are scientists behind the wall." Dying said.
"So this wall is like a one way mirror." Twilight responded. The scientists behind the mirror gasped as she said those words.
"How... did she know? " Asked a younger scientist.
"That's not all Twilight. There seems to be another presence behind that other wall." Dying said and directed her eyes towards the wall opposite of the one way mirror. Just like the other walls it was a stainless white. Twilight stepped closer to examine it. Nothing looked strange. The presence on the other hand was definitely strange. It felt so familiar to her, but she didn't know why.
On the side where the scientists were Dr. Blood stood and walked to the front of the room.
"Good evening everybody, as you all know I am Dr. Blood and I am in charge of the Unstoppable Program." He started with a smile on his face. "The subject we have in front of us is the only candidate that is a part of this program. It's name is P345TS. Alien species Pony, subspecies Alicorn. It is currently the second youngest of the four Alicorns on it's home planet of Eqquis.
It is a female and it is a virgin. It is proficient in the use of what it calls magic, and it has confirmed it to be it's special talent. It can also wield a greater power known as the element of magic, and along with five other elements known as laughter, honesty, kindness, loyalty, and generosity can defeat any threat possible. If you would would like more information on the element of generosity check unicorn experiment 173.
The subject has survived all tests and enhancements and is now ready for it's combat training. " Blood explained. Dr. Anderson stood up and went over to the microphone that allowed him to speak into the testing chamber.
"Subject 345 are you ready to begin your combat training? " He asked. Twilight nodded and stepped away from the door that held her opponent behind it. Dr. Anderson pushed a button that was next to the microphone and the wall opposite of the observation room slowly started to open, and inside there was nothing but complete darkness.
Twilight stood facing the darkness with a confused look on her face. If she didn't know any better she would say whatever creature she was fighting wanted her to come into the darkness and investigate, which would lead to easy pickens. Slowly and completely black foot came into the light followed by another and a loud hiss.
Twilight didn't know why but she thought she might know what this creature is already. She had to see more of it to make sure. The creature continued its slow crawl out of the shadows. On each hand the creature seemed to have its fingers attached by the sticky substance that the creature is covered in. Then it finally hit her, she went through the memories of the the Yautja Lone Wolf and saw the creature in one the many memories that she had recived.
'A Xenomorph. That's what we're fighting. If we're not careful we could get torn to shreds.' Twilight explained to Dying.
"Its only a drone, so this one isn't that strong. At best this should take you at least 15 minutes. I lend you a little power to help with the fight." Dying said.
'Yeah it's a drone, but if we're not careful we could easily die here. It's still a Xenomorph after all.'
"Then I guess you have to tread lightly brainmate." Dying said with a smile. The Drone finished emerging from the shadows and let out a loud hiss. Twilight turned her head to the creature and readied herself to for the first attack.
The Drone lunged at with incredible speed. She barley had enough time to sidestep. The Drone the try to stab her with its dagger like tail spike, but missed at she hopped backwards. She fired a magenta beam into the creatures side. It sent the Drone flying towards the other side of the room.
Twilight was surprised when the creature got up without showing any signs of damage or effect from her attack.
'Looks like it has a good resilience to magic attacks. Let see how many it can take.' Twilight thought as she took to the air and started raining down a number of offensive spells that shook the entire building. The Drone dodged each attack with almost no effort, it only got hit by of few of them and then decided to start climbing the wall to reach its target. It reached the ceiling without any more attacks touching it and lunged at Twilight, who ducked under the attack, but failed to see the tail of the Drone going in for a second attack.
The tail wrapped around her barrel and the Drone used it momentum to throw Twilight to the ground. She landed with a thud. The Drone landed on the ground gracefully and started a dash towards Twilight. As it was about to pounce on her she lifted her head and shot a larger and more powerful beam at the Drone who was sent flying backwards and hit the far wall. Twilight stood and stared at the monster with a smile plastered on her face.
The Drone stood with a roar and dashed at her again she fired another beam at the monsters feet, it jumped and Twilight casted a short range teleport spell and landed a kick to the creatures elongated dome shaped head. The creature landed on its side and swung its tail at Twilight and cut her left side. She yelped in pain and the Drone took the advantage to grab her by the neck and force her onto the ground.
The Drone started hissing as it positioned it head over Twilight's face. It opened its mouth wide and a smaller secondary mouth shot put. Twilight suddenly grabbed it with her newly formed crystal fingers. 'What the? This must be from Dying.' She thought as she used her back hooves to push the Drone off of her.
She used her magic to form crystals that shot through the floor and impaled the Drone through the the heart. She stood up on her two hind legs. 'Since when could I do this? ' She asked herself. She looked at her crystal fingers which looked more like claws and started to admire them. There was a low hiss and she turned her attention to the impaled Drone.
As soon as she looked over at the Drone something in the back of her mind told her to absorb the creature and she did so without hesitation. The Drones body slowly started to be absorbed by the crystal and when it was done there was nothing left.
The scientists in the room stared in amazement as the Drones body was absorbed. Dr. Anderson turned his attention to Dr. Blood who also started with amazement. "Did you know that the subject had this ability? " Dr. Anderson asked.
"No I did not." Blood replied. 'It looks like I have some more experimenting to do.
"Hey it's looking this way. " A random scientist said. He was right Twilight was staring directly into the room and her stare was pointed in Dr. Bloods direction.
Her eyes we're no longer their regular color. Instead of her purple irises, there was a dark red almost black color. And the whites if her eyes we're now also black. She had grown taller just a little and her body was now a deep purple color. Her long sharpened horn started to prepare a spell.
A black ball of magic formed at the top of her horn and she fired it at the wall which was easily blown away. The scientists screamed in terror as the wall was destroyed. She slowly stepped into the room and looked directly into Bloods eyes.
"You must be that Dying form that she told us about?" Blood said casually. 'Hm, the report said that the creature was black but this one it a dark purple, would this must mean that this is another form of the subject.'
"I am not that foal." Was all the new form of Twilight said to him. She prepare to fire another spell at him, but before she could the door burst open and the guards that were posted at it started opening fire on her. The darts easily passed through her leaving the guards staring in confusion.
Twilight's new form had a frown on its face. It didn't like being interrupted by these worthless pieces of trash. She sent a wave of magic at the guards and they all instantly and simultaneously disintegrated and their ashes slowly drifted to the ground.
The scientists in the room stared in disbelief at the show of power that this form had just displayed."Incredible!" Dr. Blood said. The form turned its attention back toward him. She bared her teeth at him and prepared to pound his skull into the ground. The form didn't get the chance as it felt a burning sent inside of its body.
"No not yet!" The form screamed. " I must kill this being. Stop! Stop! STOP!" The formed screamed and screamed. Twilight body started returning to its normal state. He lavender fur and he left purple and white eyes returned, and she returned to the height she had gained during her time here in earth. After the transformation was complete she was unconscious on the ground snoring loudly.
