"What did you just say? " Twilight asked.

"I said that I am your mother." Luna replied.

'What that makes no sense. How could she even? How would that even be possible? She has to be lying, right? This must be her way of just telling me she doesn't like me. Yeah that's it, this is her way of telling me she doesn't like me. That's pretty shitty of her.' Twilight thought in her mind.

"Are you ok? " Luna said with a worried face.

"That was a pretty shitty way to tell someone you don't like them." Twilight said looking at the floor.

"What!? No Twilight it-" Luna said.

"SHUT UP!" Twilight screamed. "Don't talk to me. I'm leaving." Twilight said as she got up from her seat.

"Twilight please wait!" Luna said as she shot up from her seat and grabbed Twilight's hoof with her own.

"Get off of me!" Twilight said as she knocked Luna's hoof away using her superior strength. Luna was knocked back into her seat."Now leave me alone." Twilight said as she left the room. Luna tried to remove herself from her chair to catch Twilight, but her body wouldn't move.

"No I must talk to her!" Luna screamed.

"No my love, you must let her come to terms with this new information she now has, by herself." Nightmare Moon said.

"But-"

"No! She has to do it by herself. I know it's hard but you have to understand, seeing you might make things worse for her." Nightmare explained.

"Fine, I understand." Luna said with a sniffle.

"I'm sorry you had to go through this." Nightmare apologised.

"I just hope she can understand." Luna said hopefully.

With Twilight

Twilight traveled down the hall leading away from the dining room. Her mind was racing with thoughts and questions.

"Why would she even try to play around like that?" She said to no one. He anger started to rise a little. "Just who the fuck does that bitch think she is! That shitty rejection was just so damn shitty."

She doesn't deserve an intelligent, young beautiful mare such as your self. Said a new voice in her head.

"Who the fuck are you?" Twilight asked.

Somepony who loves you much more than that bitch. Such a strange thing to say to the one who confesses their love to you.'I'm your mother', what kind of bullshit is that?

"You sound familiar. I know everypony in my head has a different voice. This isn't the first time I heard you before, is it?" Twilight said.

You are correct as usual, oh great one. This is in fact you third time hearing from me. The first time was during you training against that Xenomorph. The second time was just a couple of weeks before you came home.i don't have to tell you the third.

"I see. Hey, during that first time why was I so tired afterwards? Jack said I was out for two days." Twilight asked.

Oh, that would be Helios's fault. I took over you body so I could end all their lives and escape. Unfortunately Helios interfered before I could finish the extermination. At the time I didn't understand why and I was angry with her for a while. When she did explain I lost most of my fury.

She told me at that present time your body could not handle that much power. Even when you turned into Dying the first time, she had to suppress her power. So when you transformed, it put a lot of stress on your body, and it left you fatigued. So that's why you were sleep for so long.

"Oh. Well I know Dying and Helios, but what's your name?"

Just call me Black

"Just Black? " Twilight responded.

Yes just Black.

"Ok." Twilight said and went back into her sad mood.

Don't tell me that skank still has you in a bad mood

"Of course I'm still in a bad mood. I just got rejected by apparent 23 year old crush, and she had to use the weirdest lie ever. There's no way she my mom." Twilight explained.

Actually, there is merit to her words.

"What, how?"

You know a multitude of spells. And if I remember correctly there was a spell that you studied that allowed one to see the age of an object or pony. I do remember you using it in Celestia in secret once, and discovered that she is over one hundred seventy thousand years old. One hundred seventy-five thousand-eight hundred years if I remember correctly. Anyway my point is that you should use that spell on yourself.

"Yeah that's a great idea. Hold on a sec. It's been a while since I've used it." Twilight responded as she closed her eyes trying to remember how the spell was supposed to be cast. She' have to rewrite it a little bit so she could use it on herself.'I should probably write this new version down later.' She thought. Her horn started to glow and she cast the spell on herself.

The spell would take a couple of minutes to give her the results. In her mind she just knew that there was no way Luna was her mother, even if Dark told her there was some kind of truth to back up Luna's lie. "Alright the spells ready. And I am...over a billion years old! I'm eighty five billion three million and eight hundred years old!" Twilight said in disbelief

I told you.

"But how!? I'm only 23! I know I am!" Twilight screamed.

Twilight, does magic ever lie. Also this is a spell that you have studied and corrected yourself. We both know for a fact that if you study or correct anything there is never any mistake, you even added something to it. Twilight knew Dark was right. Magic had never failed her before, so why would it start now.

"But that doesn't make sense if Luna is my mom why am I older than even Celestial is!"

That's the one thing I can't help you with.

"Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit all!" She screamed as she punched a hole into the wall next to her. She wasn't done she continued to punch new holes in the wall, and once she ran out of space she continued to punch into one hole, not giving a damn that she could cause this whole wing of the castle to collapse. As she continued her punches became softer and lighter. She stopped just before her final punch hit the wall, which would have surely made the wall collapse. She slumped to the ground crying. Dark did nothing to comfort her and slipped back into the deepest parts of her mind.

Hm, everything is going according to plan, this body will soon be mine! Dark said as she laughed maliciously.

Three Hours Later

The Commander was returning from her nightly run and entered the gates of the castle. As she made her way back to her room she took notice of a crowd that was gathered in the hallway. She went to get a closer look but everypony was in her way. She decided that she would ask one of the ponies in front of her.

"Hey what's going on here?" She asked.

"Don't know. One of the maids was walking by and saw this wall and she went to get help." The pony said. He had a blue coat, with yellow eyes, and a black mane. He had two giant bat wings coming from his back and they were folded along his sides and easily went past his hips.

The Commander pushed through the crowd to get a closer look at the damage. The wall sure had taken a beating. It looked something equivalent Swiss cheese. Whoever did this was strong enough to break through the marble wall and the steel beams behind it.

She wasn't sure about the physical strength of the princesses here, but she was sure they wouldn't have a reason to be mad enough to turn the walls of there home into Swiss cheese. So that's leaves two candidates herself, and her counterpart. She knows she didn't do this, so that leaves just her counterpart.

Well that's one thing solved, but what caused her to get so mad. There were a multitude of possibilities. She did see her counterpart leave the castle earlier. Maybe something happened after she left. Her augmented hearing caught a conversation that was happening behind her.

"Did you hear what happened in the dining room in the wing?" A random guard said.

"Yeah, I went to go see what had happened, when I got there Princess Luna was leaving. When I asked what happened she started tearing up. When I looked in the room it looked like she had some kind of dinner date." The other guard replied.

'Date? Oh, I get it. My counterpart must have been rejected. That's the only reason I could think of. ' The Commander thought. She walked over to the two guards "Ahem!" The two guards looked at the bipedal Commander with there mouths wide open. " Hey lads, do you know where Princess Luna is?"

"Uh, yeah she's in her room." Said one of the guards.

"Thanks." The Commander replied. She left the scene and made her way to Luna's room. After walking for a few minutes she was standing in front of the door to Luna's room, that was being guarded by two muscular thestrals. If there was anything closer to a EDF soldier it was a thestral.

They stuck to the old ways of the Royal Guards. Hoof to hoof was and still is their specialty. They truly knew how to be a real guard, unlike Celestia's money driven guards. The only thing they were here for was the pay, the medicare, and the pretty mare's. Luna personally found the thestral race and in exchange for their place in society they offered their absolute and complete loyalty to her. She walked up to the two guards.

"Evening lads. Is Luna in there?"

"Her Highness is resting." The guard on the right said."She said no one is allowed in."

"Well please tell her that Commander Sparkle would like to talk with her." The two guards shared a look, then the right guard entered the room. A few seconds later he came out and allowed her access.

As she entered the room was dark, but thanks to her augmentations she was able to see easily. The room was a very dark blue, and on the ceiling there were stars painted on it. The bed was located in the middle of the room. It had dark blue sheets and pillows. To the right of the bed was the entrance to the bathroom, and on the left of the bed was the door to the balcony. On the balcony rested purple pillow. In front of the pillow was a telescope that could watch all the stars and over Equestria. Laying in the middle of the bed was Luna.

"You alright Luna?" She asked.

"Commander I've made a huge blunder." Luna replied.

"What did you do?" Commander Sparkle asked.

"I've hurt the mare who is in love with me. I've hurt her to a point where she'll probably never talk to me for the rest of our immortal lives." Luna replied.

"You rejected my counterpart." The Commander said.

"Yes I did. But not in a way that you might think it happened." Luna replied.

"Oh yeah, so how did it happen?"

"Well as it turns out...she is my daughter."

"Wait what?" The Commander said confused.

"Yes she is my daughter, and the only reason I knew was because some memories from my time in the sky came back to me." Luna said. "She was kissing me on the lips and I couldn't think of a better time to tell her."

"Ok that's not what I was expecting to hear. Well apparently she took out her anger on a castle wall and turned it into Swiss cheese." The Commander replied.

"Commander I have I request of you."

"What is it?"

"If you find Twilight, please tell her that I'm sorry, and whenever she feels like it to come and talk with me so I can explain everything to door. "

"Sure Luna."

"You have my thanks Commander."

The Commander nodded and turned to leave the room. Once she exited she headed towards her room to try and get some rest. Her internal clock determined that it was some time around 11: 30. As she neared the entrance to her room she saw the door was creaked open and the lights were on.

She slowed her pace a drew her sidearm as she neared the door. She put a hand on the door and pushed it open and then she ran in and stopped as she saw her counterpart sitting in the middle of the room staring at the ceiling.

"What are you doing in here, did you not see the sign?" The Commander said as she put her sidearm in its holster.

"Sorry, I didn't notice it. I was busy contemplating my life." Twilight said as she lifted her head to look at the Commander.

"Oh yeah I heard from Luna." The Commander said.

"Don't you ever speak that bitches name in my presence ever again." Twilight said anger evident in her voice.

"Well, she said whenever you feel like it to go talk to her so she can explain everything." The Commander replied.

Twilight scoffed "She didn't even have the balls to come tell me that herself. Typical."

"Hey don't shoot the messenger." The Commander said.

"Hey, Commander remember that drink you promised?" Twilight said with a smile.

Inside Twilight's Mind

While Twilight and the Commander were getting drunk, Dying and Helios were having dinner together. The table was set up with a white table cloth over a brown oak wooden table and in the middle of the table were a set of candles holder that had three candles in each of them. Above them was a clear glass chandelier that also held candles in it. Along the walls were portraits of Twilight and her greatest and most memorable moments in life. The floor of the room was a dark brown wood, and under the table was a blue carpet. The chairs were set up all around the table and they themselves were made from a dark brown wood , with a blue cushion in it for those who sat in them to be comfortable.

The two mares sat at both ends if the table. Both of them had a plate filled with chicken, sweet corn and sweet peas. For their drinks they both had a glass of red wine, and next to the wine was a glass of water.

"Mother."Dying said looking towards her mother.

"Yes?" Helios asked.

"Why are we eating, you know we don't have to eat when we're in Twilight's mind? Also is this food even real?" Dying asked.

"Yes, and yes. As long as this food is apart of Twilight's memory it is as real as we are." Helios replied.

"But, there's still no point for us to be eating." Dying said.

Helios sighed "Just eat daughter."

"Alright." Dying replied. After a few moments of silence Dying spoke again. "So, how's mom doing?"

"Well, she's being your mother." Helios replied.

"So angry, secluded, and ready to kill anything that isn't Twilight, you, or me." Dying explained.

"Yes, pretty much." Helios responded.

Dying chuckled. "Yup that's mother for ya." The two mares finished eating dinner in silence.

After they finished Dying made her way to her own room. Helios on the other hoof made her way deeper into the Brain Castle. She passed many different doors as she made her way through the halls of the castle. Behind the doors were many different rooms that held the different functions of the body, along with the different areas of the brain, such as the memory, motor, reasoning, sight, speech sections, and etc.

Helios passed by all these doors and made her way to a dark oak wooden door near the end of the hallway. She opened the door and when it she saw nothing but a swirling black void. As she stepped in her fiery body started to disappear into the mist.
