Chapter 1View OnlineChanging TidesChapter 1Author's Note Hey guys as you'll probably see I had made some minor changes as the name Kameron was a placeholder name for the ACTUAL character, she'll be important in chapter 7 Chapter 1 Before I moved out, my mom gave me a necklace with a baby blue gemstone in it. Ever since then I felt safer, protected, yet every time I got mad, or upset the wind picked up, or it starts to rain. Coincidence? Maybe...If if it's something I can control, I need to harness it. Maybe help people with it. I could change the world! ~Present Day~ "HOW?!" I yell as I bang my fists on the table. I live alone, in my grandparents old house. Before they died they gave it to me, in hopes that I could start a good life. It has a master bedroom and two guest bedrooms. It's grey with white stripes, brown roof. "Oh!" I say as I look outside to see a storm building up. "So that's how it works...off of certain emotions!" I realize as I concentrate every emotion I can muster and focus it towards a cup filled with water, it moved! "Holy sh-" I said as someone was knocking at the door, crying. I go over to the door, opening it. "Teresa?! What's the matter?" I said as she looks up at me. "My parents kicked me out over something stupid I said!" She cried, eyes red from crying all the way here. "Oh my god, are you okay?" I ask, motioning my hand to invite her in. "Yeah, Thanks...I don't mean to be a bother." She said, sniffling. "No, no you are welcome anytime, I'm just surprised you were kicked out! I know your parents can be hot heads but...wow..." I say going into the kitchen to get us a drink. "Want something? I have wine, if you want it." I called to my best friend. She was looking out the window, spaced out...just looking. I went over and tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey, want some wine? I have chardonnay, or maybe some water?" I say with a soft smile. "Huh?...Oh, no thanks, just water please. She said with an almost-smile. I just nodded and went back to the kitchen and got me some Jameson and her water. As I walked back in the room she was still spaced out. "Hey, you okay? You keep spacing out." I said handing her the water. she just looks at me a single tear falls from her eye. "It's Jason...he...he died in a car accident two days ago...I wanted to tell you but I had an argument with my parents, and they told me to get me shit packed up and leave...just because I told my mom that she needs to start doing something with herself instead of lazing around all day and sleeping from 9:00 PM to 1:00 PM" She started with a somber, low tone, ending in a tone of indifference. My heart skipped a beat, as I gasp...I look down breathing heavily." I should have been there, it's my fault...I knew his car had something wrong with it, we both did...I just didn't bother to fix it...it's all my fault..." I say lowly, all my emotions building up inside me. "No! No, its not, Avery! Please he wouldn't want you to think that! Please! calm do--Oh my god!" she said as she saw a blue misty glow coming from my eyes. The storm out side picked up hard. the wind blowing hard and wild, thunder crashing loudly. But just then Teresa was going to say something until a bright flash filled the room, and all I hear is a scream and everything went black, silence filled the air. After what feels like eternity, I start to hear wind rushing past me, but I can't open my eyes or move, I'm falling...I don't know where, but I'm falling...somewhere. Then with a hard thump I hit the ground. Groaning, I try to move and I can, but I feel...different, I open my eyes to see blue-silver colored hooves. "What the hell?" I say as I try to stand. Oof... So apparently that's not gonna work... ... So it's been like an hour and the sun's setting, still no luck...But just as I was about to give up I saw six different color blurs barreling towards me. I groaned as I pass out from exhaustion. 6 hours later I wake up to find myself in a room, a white and gold room...with marble floors and some albino pink hue to it, as well as the walls and ceiling. Then a guardsman...guards...pony?... [Let's just go with that...] walked in and told me the princess was here to see me. 'Princess?! This can't be happening! I can't meet anyone like this! Especially not ROYALTY!' I thought, sweating my balls off. "Okay, let her in, i guess..." I say as I took a deep breath, and calmed myself. As the door opened a dark blue unicorn with wings came into the room...and she was...hot? 'OH HELL NO! There is no way in hell that I'm going to fall in love with a horse, for all things! Especially one that is a fucking PRINCESS!!!!' I groan as she comes closer to me, my head feeling like it's about to blow up at any second. 'Man, I could use some alcohol, namely Jameson!' I thought before my head nearly exploded into itty bitty bits of brain everywhere. Note to self, whenever your head is mere seconds from blowing up from pain...DON'T! FUCKIN'! THINK!!!! I look at her and smile. "Hello, Princess my name is Avery, it's a pleasure to meet you." I say as I give a little bow with my head. She giggled and looked at me. "No need for formalities, young Avery...Luna is fine, please." She said with a happy smile. "Are you feeling okay?" She asks as her smile goes to a curious look, head tilted. I just look a her, smiling and nodding. This is going to be hard to get used to, also do I have wings...AND a horn? ...Shit....this is going to suck! Maybe she won't notice...not very likely...damn

Chapter 3View OnlineChanging TidesChapter 3~TWO DAYS LATER~ Today is the day I get out of the hospital, and off to the castle Luna has been talking about yesterday. Just as I was about to call the nurse, she walked in and smiled. "Okay, Mr. Davidson, it's time for your release forms." she said as she levitated a form in front of me, and a pen. As I tried to write my signature with my mouth, the penmanship was that of a 2 year old. "fhere!" I said, pen still in my mouth. She smiled and used her magic to take the pen, and opened the door. "Okay, if you please come this way, sir!" she said in a bright happy voice, walking to the reception desk and giving the receptionist a nod. "Just wait out here until princess Luna comes." she said and smiles as I nod. After she walks away I go over to one of the chairs and take a seat and closed my eyes. ~30 minutes later~ I open my eyes to see princess Luna in front of me smiling. "Hi, Luna...When did you get here?" I say tiredly, as I get up and rub the tiredness out of my eyes. '...Since when did I know how to walk or stand in this body?' I thought as I walk over to her. She looks at me with a soft stare. "I just got here fifteen minutes ago, fair Avery." She says gently, as I give her a goofy smile. Giggling she says "Come on now, before we miss the train." she said as she walked out the door. With that we left, and a chariot came and picked us up. 'Even better!' I thought, liking the idea of flying. I had always liked when me and my parents would go on trips overseas. The planes we were on were the big jumbo jets! They had windows what would let you see from the sky all the way down to the sea, it fascinated me for some reason. As we landed at the castle we got out and made our way inside. "Whoa! This place is HUGE!" I said in pure awe as I looked at the huge quartz columns and over-sized stained glass windows. Even the carpet had a silky, smooth texture to it, a rarity in the human world. She looked at me with a smile. "Yes, yes this is a pretty big castle!" She says, as a small giggle escapes her mouth. I just smile and follow her until I remember my dream. "What was with that dream last night? Who was that?" I ask, hoping it was just a silly dream and nothing to really worry about! But then again, these are my dreams...they ALWAYS mean something. "I do not know, young Avery...all I know is that what you saw was all to real. That was Queen Chrysalis; former queen of the changelings." she said lowly, as if not to have anypony else hear. I look at her with a scared look. "former...queen?" I ask as I look back at the ground trying to process this, eyebrow raised. "Yes, Princess Twilight Sparkle, and her student, Starlight Glimmer, along with a friendly Changeling named Thorax, saved the other Element of Harmony bearers from the Queen...well now former queen." She said, continuing to explain the rest of the events that happened. "Whoa...all of that, and now the changelings are friendly? Just like that?" I said in a surprised, amazed tone. She just gave a small nod and giggled, then with a soft smile she looks at the big door with an upside down moon on it. "This, young Avery, is the Noble guest room, it has all the same features, but has a bar in the kitchen." She says smiling. "You get ready in here and tomorrow night I'll show you around more...but for now, get some rest." She said walking away, smiling. Chapter 4View OnlineChanging TidesChapter 4After I got into bed, I started feeling a strange feeling in my heart, like a hole....it felt as though a familiar presence was in the general area. "I should talk to Luna about this...it could be her..." I wished, looking out the nearby window. 'Let's hope I see Luna in my dream, I need to talk to her as soon as possible!' I think as I quickly drift off to sleep. I open my eyes to see a grassy field, it's night time and the grass is glistening in the silver rays of moonlight. The nice crisp breeze flowing through my mane, then I see a flash from behind me. Looking back, I see her smiling and walking towards me. "So, this is a dream, huh?" I laugh as I look around at the beautiful sight. She looks at me nodding. "Yes, fair Avery...this is a dream, you look nervous, is there something wrong?" She said, tilting her head in question. I almost got lost in awe due to my surroundings, until I remember my question. "Oh..no! of course not! I just have a question for you..." I said, holding back a blush. She raised an eye brow, tilting her head back to it original position. "Oh?" "I was wondering if you could help me look for someone that I believe got transported here as well..I just have a gut feeling." I ask, trying to figure out why this is happening, unfortunately my mind decided to think of how the hell I was able to get here in the first place. "I-if that's okay, I mean I don't want to take you from your duties, if you don't have time!" I say, nervous that she may think I'm crazy. She just giggled and nodded her head. "Of course! I will get the guard to start looking immediately." she said, smiling. She was the first pony I met here and she has no fear of me...of course, she has yet to see my....'ability'... With that we both smiled, sitting down in a small grassy area, I looked at her and smiled as I got up and looked at my surroundings. "So what can I do here, exactly?" I asked her with a bit of excitement. She just smiled and pointed to the air. "This." She said, while the scene changed to what looked like a study with a few bookcase and a medium sized fireplace, a comfortable, warm fire inside, illuminating the study. All I could do was look around in awe as I felt the warmth of the fire against my face. "H...how?!" I said utterly awe-struck. "Luna this is....AMAZING! Can you teach me how to do this?!" I said still in shock. The scene then changed back into the grassy field. She looked at me and giggled. "Maybe one day, but first you need to learn a simple levitating spell." She said looking at my necklace, smiling. I paused to look at her with slight confusion. "You mean I can do more than just control weather?! I can use magic like a unicorn?! How?! Please teach me! pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!" I beg, trying to make puppy dog eyes (And it worked!). She just giggles, then she nods. I then wake up to a bright flash of light. I shoot up, wide eye-ed. "YES! I am going to learn actual MAGIC!" I say, scattering on my bed, trying to get out of the covers. I pull a little to hard and fall on the floor...face first. "Ow....my face~!" I say, making it WAAY more dramatic than it should be. I then hear a knock at the door. I scramble to get up, and start walking over to the door. "Coming!" I called, as I made my way over to the door. Author's Note Sorry this chapter was a bit (a lot) late, I tried to upload it before but it wasn't publishing. So here I am FINALLY got it published!
