Take to the Sky
Daring Dash and Scoot (optional dream sequence)
Previous ChapterNote, the Scootaloo in this is what I'd expect a Discorded Scootaloo to be like. Brash and brutally honest, as well as overtly sexual.
The temple rose out of the jungle like a monolith before them. Finally, they had arrived. "See, Professor Paranoid? Told ya we'd get there." Dash says, adjusting her hat.
"Oh, I knew we'd get there. I just expected us to get lost a thousand times before we did." her purple haired companion says. This was her first expedition with the legendary Daring Dash, adventurer extraordinaire. At least, that's how she told it. The young filly knew that some of her tales were more legend than substance. She was actually one of the biggest skeptics of the adventurer.
Dash smiles. "Just imagine the riches! The fame! The stallions! You're still single, right?" she says, a flourish added to every statement. Scootaloo chuckles.
"I thought you preferred mares, Daring Dyke." she says harshly. She loved to invoke anger in the adventurer. Dash always got so sexy when she was angry.
"Speak for yourself. I saw you making eyes at that bartender, Slutaloo." Scootaloo shuts up at the mention of the bartender and the nickname.
"Damn her wit." she thinks to herself. "Not my fault she was hot." she says, the blush spreading across her face.
Dash laughs, and they continue to the temple. Large Aztecian symbols cover the entrance, and a hieroglyphic message adorned the ceiling above. "Any idea what this means, Scoot?" Dash asks, adjusting her hat again.
"Either it's a warning about a curse, or this temple's been condemned. Too many double meanings in this language." she says.
"Well, either way we'll be dealing with risk and danger. And Danger is my middle name!" Dash says. She whips out a small machete and hacks away at the vines covering the entrance.
"I thought it was Sandra." her assistant says as she hacks away, invoking a laugh.
"That's my second middle name." she says briefly. She cuts the final vine and they step into the temple...
