Pyrophobia
Epilogue

Sweetie Belle was asleep. She’d spent the day (after the ceremony) with Scootaloo and Applebloom and she was tired. Rarity stayed up with Gray Lapis. They had a lot to talk about. Mainly what had happened to him when he’d left. He told her of his rage, his talk to Spectre. She shivered at that.
“He really scares me...”
Gray smiled and caressed her cheek.
“Ain’t nuttin ta be scare of missy. Jus’ a li’l red round tha eyeballs.”
He was exaggerating Applejack’s accent and Rarity chuckled and took his hoof away from her face. He continued to tell her where he’d gone. The library to apologise to a very disgruntled Talisman, the theatre to set everything up, back to the boutique to pick up his outfit. It was a quiet night, but a magical one as well. They grew even closer that night. They walked upstairs and checked on Sweetie Belle together. As to be expected, the young filly was sleeping like a log. They reached Gray’s room and stopped for a while. Before he could say anything, Rarity leaned forward and kissed him gently. Waving, she walked over to her room.
They both slept peacefully that night.
Gray no longer cared about his acting career.
As long as he had Rarity, he was happy.
