Load Full StoryNext ChapterMeadow was brushing her mane as she went through her closet to pick out a dress. Meadow continued brushing her hair until it was silky smooth. And then proceeded to brush her tail. Meadow lifted a bottle of perfume over to her with her magic. She had taken lessons from Bumper, Blood Bones, and Timidthy so she could get better. Blood Bones especially. Meadow had taken a shower using coconut scented shampoo. And made sure to scrub her mane, tail and coat so she'd smell her best. And now she was using lavender scented perfume on the front and back of her neck, her chest and the cheeks of her face. She and Blood Bones had dated for two weeks. And she had learned that Blood Bones's favorite scents we're lavender and coconut. Though he never fully admitted it she had done slight experimentation. By using numerous perfumes and shampoos to see how her reacted to the scents. As Meadow put the perfume down she put her mane and tail into a beehive style. Meadow then put a velvet, frilly dress with gold trimmings on and put on glass velvet coloured high heels. Meadow smiled dreamly as she put on some pink lipstick. After Meadow was done she walked out of her room with a skip in her step.
Meanwhile........
Blood Bones was putting a black tux on as he nervously tightened the red bow on his suit. Blood Bones troted over to his bed. And looked over the ruby-lily fusion corsage he had blended together. He then pulled out a black box and put the corsage in it. Blood Bones had undid his man's from his usual pompedor hairstyle (much to his discomfort) and put it in a mullet. He looked in the mirror and wanted to punch himself. 'I look like a dork.' Blood Bones thought. But despite the humiliation and nervousness he felt with what he was wearing and his hair style. He decided to go with it, after all he loved Meadow. And he wouldn't let his blown-up ego and self confidence get in the way. Once Blood Bones was sure he'd be able to walk without his legs shaking. He headed towards the castle entrance, clutching the boxed corsage to his chest. As Meadow walked to the newest restaurant, she noticed that more colts we're noticing her. Meadow giggled as blush came to her face, she knew Blood Bones would get a rise out of this. And she wasn't sure why but she licked looking nice. Soon Meadow came face to face with the restraunt. The building was painted a very pale yellow as the roof was a regal black with a sign that blinked: Le Petite. Meadow smiled and walked into the restraunt. Blood Bones sat at a table with a halloween orange table-cloth on it. His ears flickered nervously as he felt every cell in his body to run away. But he stayed, he wasn't going to be a coward. Blood Bones then heard small clicks and turned to see Meadow. Blood Bones eye's widened and he could feel his face heat up. Meadow giggled and sat in the chair across from Blood Bones. Meadow smiled sweetly and noticed a black box on the table.
"What's that?" Meadow said innocently as she battered her eyelashes. Blood Bones snapped out of his trance and gave Meadow the box.
"I-It's for you." Blood Bones muttered, Meadow giggled again and opened the box. And saw the corsage safely tucked in it, the lily was white with shreds of red ruby in it and at the tips. Meadow smiled even bigger and put it carefully in her hair.
"It's beautiful." Meadow said softly, Blood Bones smiled sheepishly and said,
"Yo-You're beautiful." Meadow blushed.
"And you look very handsome. I like your hair it's a lot less show-offy." Meadow said, Blood Bones looked away and said,
"Thanks, to be honest I feel a bit dorky like this." Blood Bones said. Blood Bones was usually a pony who didn't care what ponies thought of him. Even with his big ego and self-confidence he didn't stir from it. But stepping outside of his comfort zone. And going to a date in a formal restraunt was a bit unnerving. Meadow shook her head,
"You don't look dorky, you look cute! And I'm glad to be your marefriend." Meadow said. Blood Bones smiled softly and was about to say something until the waiter came over and passed out the menus. Meadow opened her menu and was shocked to see it was in Italian. Blood Bones smiled and his ego swelled up back to full size. He smiled a toothy grin making sure his fangs showed,
"I'll have the dandelion sandwich on a bed of oat fries. And the lady will have a club with lettuce, eggplant, and carrots. And we'll have two Pepsi's." Blood Bones said as he handed the waiter the menus and he left. Meadow looked impressed,
"I didn't think you knew Italian." Meadow said. Blood Bones felt his ego swell up more,
"There are a lot of thing's you don't know about me." Blood Bones said. Meadow smiled, Blood Bones sniffed and swore he could smell lavender and coconut. 'She didn't......' Meadow giggled and said,
"I may have used coconut shampoo and lavender perfume. I made them myself." Meadow said. Blood Bones smiled, '........she did.' For all thing's considered the date was going very well at least for the moment. As the two waited for their food, they talked. During the conversation thought Meadow said,
"I was wondering Blood Bones......why do you like to execute ponies?" Blood Bones looked stunned. But he quickly shook it off,
"I don't like to execute ponies but unlike my brother I tend to be less forgiving. I don't really like ponies who hurt the one's I care about. But......I'm sure if their was an exception the pony would tell me who they really we're." Blood Bones said. And Meadow's mouth went dry. But before she could respond the waiter came with their Pepsi's. And Blood Bones excused himself.
