StarSong nodded. "You're probably just nervous, there's nopony around for miles!"
Rainbow Dash sighed. "Then where did my hat go?"
"How would I know?"
Toola-Roola bit her lip. "Maybe you should check one more time......"
"Fine!" snapped the Pegasus, taking flight once more without so much as a chance to catch her breath. She hovered above the group for a few seconds before flying arond in circles. She was in the middle of thinking how stupid this was when something crashed into her. The next thing she knew she was on the ground, a purple Pegasus wearing Rainbow Dash's hat looming over her. "Sorry! What's your name?"
"Err- StarSong-"
"Good! My name is-"
She stopped mid-sentence, staring at StarSong's wings. StarSong blushed. For reasons she never quite understood, she had always had bug-like wings compared the the solid feathery ones of other Pegasi, and she had always been self-conscious about it. Even for a normal Pegasus, the stranger had oddly large wings. "D-Don't touch my wings!"
The stranger awkwardly stopped herself from staring any longer. "Oh! Sorry! It's just that........Err, would you believe I know everything about you and your friends even the stuff that hasn't happened yet?"
"Prove it!"
"Okay, let me think......Did Puddinghead take you prisoner yet?"
"No!"
"Okay, what about the Hurricane Military Camp?"
"No-"
"Have you been servants for any period of time?"
"No!"
"Has your Ponyville been deleted yet?"
"Wait- yes! How did you-"
"Blindfolded hill scootering?"
"Yeah- how did you-"
"Take me to them. If anypony asks, I'm StarShine SkyHigh. I'm your- err- sister. Yeah, that makes sense!"
"No it doesn't- and give me Rainbow Dash's hat back-"
"Sorry, I can't- I'll give it back soon, probably-"
"No! Give it back now-"
"Promise you'll tell the others I'm your sister?"
StarSong rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll tell them you're my sister! Now gimme the hat!"
The stranger galloped away, and once she was starting to blur the hat flew towards StarSong, landing perfectly on her head. As the purple stranger galloped away, there was a tiny bump visible on her head, almost like on Rarity's.
"Is that StarSong?"
Celestia looked up. "I don't know, who's StarSong?"
Luna rolled her eyes. "Never mind, she's gone now."
Kimono stared at the sky. "I swear there was something purple only a second ago..."
Sparkleworks shrugged and looked at something in the distance. "Hey, look over there!"
They all turned their heads and saw a purple Unicorn trot-swimming towards them. The mare was a little taller than them, with perfectly straight dark hair with pink stripes. She was wearing a brown cloak tied around her neck. It seemed oddly stereotypical, like it was designed to look like a cloak as opposed to actually being one.
"Hi, Luna, Celestia," the stranger began. "I'm- err- Clover-"
"How do you know our names?" demanded Celestia.
"Errr- Lucky guess?"
They all stared and Clover awkwardly took a few more steps before tripping over a twig in the water and falling. She awkwardly got back up, raising a hoof to adjust her cloak. "Man, now my cloak's all wet!"
"Here, let me take it," offered Celestia, stepping forward and reaching for the cloak. "You'll get sick-"
"No!"
Celestia stepped backwards nevously. Clover blushed. "It's- err- a family heirloom. I- err- just don't like ponies touching it, okay?"
Luna raised an eyebrow. "Alright then, Clover, if that's you're real name. I'm onto you." Then she took another few steps, jumping up and down to loom over her newfound 'rival'. "Ponies have two names! Tell us who ye really are, ye scoundrel-headed landlubber!"
Celestia facepalmed. "Luna, you have the entire English language at your disposal, and those are the words you choose?"
Luna ignored her sister. "Hah!" she scoffed. "I bet you except us to treat you like some sparkly princess Mary-Sue from a book worse than Twilight, but we can see right through your guise!"
"Oh, for crying out loud, Luna," snapped Celestia. "We are in the absolute middle of nowhere- according to all the maps I've ever seen, we're not even in Ponyland anymore, or we're in some part of it nopony's ever seen- and the whole area is literally impossibly flooded, and considering how heavily it's raining we might all drown in a few hours, and we've seen two Draconequui so far, and you still have time to embarrass me in front of anypony we meet?"
"Well, duh! Why do you think Mum and Dad wanted another foal?"
Celestia was about to respond when she realised there was no point. She instead turned to Clover. "Sorry about her. Are you sure you don't want me to take your cloak? You could get really sick out here, it's freezing."
"No, I'm sure," said Clover urgently. "I think I should be able to light a campfire. I'll be back in a few minutes, I'll just look for any nearby hill-islands, there's all sorts of things in that forest...."
She trotted off and, once she was sure she was out of view, used her magic to take her cloak off, thanking Celestia that nopony could see them.
