The Disappearance of Lariette

Lariette and Alouette are still racking their brains trying to figure out how to get their bodies back to normal. Then Alouette had an idea. "Hey sis, since you're a Unicorn now because you're...me. Why don't you try to cast that spell? it might switch us back."
Lariette thought it was a good idea as well and they tried it. Alouette told her how Unicorns do magic and Lariette tries it the same way, Another flash came like before but this time nothing happened. "Ouch, my head.. never thought casting spells can give you a really bad headache." They both sat down again and tries to think of even more ideas until Lariette heard Twilight and the others calling for her, She thought they were probably looking for her because she hasn't showed up yet. So she made a plan with Alouette. "Okay Alouette, You hang out with my friends and try to act like me as much as possible, Don't call anyone until you remember their names. I'll go back to Twilight's Library and ask spike if he can help me find a book that might have a way to reverse this, Okay?" Alouette nods and Lariette rushes off away from everyone until she is out of sight. Twilight and the others approached Alouette and asked "Okay Lariette, ready to go?" Alouette was worried because she did not know what are the names of any of the ponies so she tries to act like her sister as much as she can while learning their names. "Yeah anytime." They all walked towards the direction of the Everfree Forest. Meanwhile back in Ponyville. Lariette was running as fast as she can towards the Library, She walked up to the door and gave it a knock. "Who is it?" She heard a familiar voice, it was Spike's voice. "Spike is that you? it's me Lariette." Spike was surprised, The voice he heard wasn't Lariette's voice, Also Lariette was supposed to be away with the others. Knowing this he opened the door anyway. "Lariette weren't you supposed to be--" Spike was surprised, the pony in front of him wasn't Lariette at all, she has the same colour as Lariette except slightly darker. And she's a Unicorn instead of an Earth Pony. "You're not Lariette!" Lariette pushed Spike into the Library and closed the door really quick, She calmed Spike down and explained to him slowly and carefully what's going on. Spike then calmed down and believes the Unicorn that it was Lariette. "Spike can you help me find books about magics? any books at all." Spike and Lariette began to look around the Library for books that might help Lariette. Then he saw a good book that might just be useful to Lariette. "Hey Lariette! how about this one?" Lariette tries her best to use a levitation magic and it went smoothly, She reads the cover of the book, "Young Unicorn's Guide to Magic" was written on the book, Lariette spent a good 20 minutes reading the book and now she knows all the basic spells she would need, Levitation, Short-Distance Teleport and a horn Flashlight. They searched around for books that actually tells her how to reverse the spell but they had no luck. "Oh well thanks anyway Spike, I do have an idea though." Lariette opened the door and rushed towards the Everfree Forest, Spike still having no clue as to what Lariette's plan could be just went back to taking care of the Library. Meanwhile back at the Everfree Forest, The group spent helping Lavender studying all the plants there to see if any of them are good for making medicine, While Alouette listened in closely on their names as they searched, She at least now knows the names of each and every single one of them. Lavender was currently holding down a certain plant but she saw a sprout growing behind a tree that looks kind of similar to the one she's holding down, But everypony else was busy, Everypony except Alouette so she asked Alouette to go and get it for her. "Hey Lariette, can you help me a bit and get that plant behind that tree there for me?" Alouette knows Lavender was referring to her and went to pick the sprout for Lavender and gave it to her. Lavender mixed the sprout with the plant she was holding and studies it carefully. "I see, It gives you energy and makes you less sleepy, And it's even stronger than Coffee, This might be useful" Alouette is still hoping that her sister might have found a solution to their little problem because she doesn't know how much longer can she keep acting like Lariette. Meanwhile on the other side of the forest Lariette was running towards Zecora's hut. But as she was on her way she saw Zecora right by the side of the road and calls out to her. Zecora was quite surprised because a Unicorn she has never met before knows her name, Lariette explains to her what happened and she invited Lariette to her hut. Zecora explains to Lariette that she needs to get certain plants for Zecora so she can make the potion, But the location of the plants is what worries her. "But if i go there, then Alouette and the others will be there. Maybe i can get Alouette to secretly pick them up for me. Lariette gives Zecora a thanks in advance and told her that she will be right back with the plants. She left the hut and started walking towards the other side of the Everfree Forest hoping all her friends and Alouette are still there. Lariette finally reached the other side of the forest and noticed that Alouette and the others have left. She thought that they were probably headed for the mountain right now. So she gets herself busy looking for the plants Zecora mentioned as hard she could. Meanwhile up on the mountains. The group had just recently gotten there and they asked Alouette what kind of gems does she need. "So Lariette, what exactly are these gems that you need, i can use my spell to find them for you."Asked Twilight. Alouette was trying to think of something to say as soon as possible, Then she thought why not just say the easiest one to say. "Well i can't remember exactly what so lets just get all of it." Twilight then began casting the spell she learned from Rarity while her and the other Elements of Harmony was saving Rarity from the Diamond Dogs. She located a lot of gems pretty fast and they all got busy digging them up. Meanwhile Alouette was still planning on going with her sister's plan. ("After we go back to Ponyville Sis will switch us back with whatever it is she found and explain everything to them right?") So she just prepares herself to properly introduce herself to these ponies later. Back at the forest Lariette has already found all the plants she needed and came back to Zecora's hut. Zecora had recently finished making them and tells Lariette how to switch them back. "So basically Alouette drinks this while i cast the spell right? Thanks Zecora." Lariette then got out the hut and runs straight to Ponyville, She noticed that it was nighttime and had to hurry back because they are probably going to her shop and she just remembered she forgot to tell Alouette where the key is. And knowing Twilight she will keep making Alouette talk even though she honestly knows nothing. Meanwhile somewhere on the road from Ponyville to the Mountains, The group was still on their way but Rain told them she needs to do something first and asked them to wait. She dragged Windy along with her. "Ouch Rain what is it?" Rain was still nervous but she promised herself that she would do this today. "Actually Windy i... I love you, ever since we became roommates i've always loved you." Windy was surprised to hear that but Rain's heart was beating really really fast waiting for WIndy's answer. "Actually Rain...I've been in love with you too, Ever since the first moment i saw you." Rain was very happy and relieved to hear that and hugged Windy. "Let's go back to the others Rain, They might be worried." Rain nodded and they went back to the group and everypony walked back to town together. Lariette reached her shop and noticed that they haven't came back yet so she took the key which she hid inside the dirt in one of her Flower Vase next to her door and entered the shop. Soon after everypony was back in Ponyville and headed towards Lariette's gem shop. Rain went to open the door and noticed the door was unlocked. "That's weird. Lariette you usually lock your door right? i know this because i tend to always try to open your door because i was too hasty." Everypony then noticed that it was weird as well and rushed inside of Lariette's shop leaving Alouette outside, Alouette was worried. "Okay who are you and what are you doing in out friend's shop!" Yelled Rain and Windy at a Unicorn preparing some kind of drink in the shop. They both grabbed the Unicorn and holds her down. Alouette then entered the shop and asked them all to stop. "That's Lariette! I'm not Lariette!" they were all surprised to hear it and Rain asked the Unicorn she was holding down. "Is it true, You're Lariette?" Lariette nodded and both Rain and Windy got off her. Lariette and Alouette then carefully explained it all to them. "Then we were with your sister Alouette the whole time?" Asked Lavender. Lariette was surprised that they didn't know it was Alouette. "Wow Alouette, You haven't seen me in years yet you can still act like me that even my own friends can't tell the difference?" they all then shared a short laugh, Afterwards Lariette then did what Zecora told her to do and got their bodies to switch back. Alouette then properly introduced herself. "My name is Alouette Emeralds, and just like my Cutie Mark here, A small Emerald Ring shows, I am a Jewel accesory maker." Then Everypony introduced themselves to Alouette as well. Alouette was very happy to meet them all. "So Alouette, now that you've found Lariette what are you gonna do?" Alouette then answered them. "Well i was planning on staying with my sister, but first i guess i have to tell Mom and Dad." Lariette then came to Alouette and put a hoof over her shoulder and said. "In that case why don't we go together, I want to see how Mom and Dad are doing too. Leaving the shop for a couple of days won't hurt." Alouette agrees and everypony went home. The next day they all went to the Train Station to see Lariette and Alouette off. "Well see you two in a few days, Hope your parents are okay Lariette." Said Lavender to Lariette. Lariette nodded and then both her and Alouette got on the train. They both waved goodbye to their friends. to Lariette they were her closest friends but to Alouette, they'll be her new friends in Ponyville. "Hey sis, when we come back to Ponyville why don't you make a shop of your own in my shop? like an Accesory Making corner." Alouette was happy to hear that and she said yes. When they both reached their house. Alouette knocked on the door, Lariette was a little nervous. The door was opened by two ponies. The male one was green coloured, pretty much like Lariette's mane with a purple mane. The female one was yellow coloured like Lariette's body with a pink mane. they both hugged Lariette and Alouette smiled looking at her family finally being reunited. "Mother...Father...I'm back." They went inside and shared a wonderful story about Lariette's success in Ponyville and about Alouette's travels while looking for Lariette.
