The Disappearance of Lariette

Hello, My name is Lariette Emeralds, And i am an Earth Pony, and i will tell you about my life, 15 years ago i was just a small little Filly, living with my Parents in Fillydelphia, We have no neighbours since my house is at the far end of the neighbourhood, while the house next to ours is unoccupied. 2 years later i was old enough to go to school, and at that time the house next to ours was occupied, they are a family of Pegasus, My mom told me they have a daughter about my age and that i might be good friends with her at school. the next day school started and i went to school. And the moment i got there i can already tell which one is my neighbour's daughter, She had colours that looks like her parents'. In class we sat next to each other, Class went by quietly, During recess i asked her if her name was the name of my neighbours' daughter's name, Rain Feathers. Her answer was yes and I introduced myself. we became very good friends. lets skip ahead to when I got my Cutie Mark, it was about a month since I started school. Me and my mother were shopping, whenever she was going to buy something I always interrupted her and told her to get some other ones, and then at this one shop she finally asked why do I keep interrupting her. suddenly the Shopkeeper came and said those products have gone bad. My mother was quiet surprised how I was able to tell the quality of the products. Even I do not know myself. At that time I also have a strange habit of picking up rocks and collect them. However they weren't just any random rocks, I pick rocks that has a pretty weird but beautiful shape. One day a travelling Pony walked by our house and noticed my collection, he asked if he can buy them for around 100 bits. We were surprised why would he want to pay that much for some plain rocks. He then asked me to try and wash them off. They were small but valuable pieces of jewelry! We sold it to him and when before i know it, I got my Cutie Mark. Small pieces of Emeralds. My mother told me it probably means I have an eye for quality since I can tell from good to bad products and even unconsciously identify jewels instead of plain rocks. 5 Years passed since then. I finished school and I now have a little sister, Her name is Alouette Emeralds, It's pretty funny how her colour is the same as mine, Except darker and her eye colours are reversed. I've always wanted to own my own shop when I was young. But since I graduated from school the local clinic gave me a job offer, it was a job for checking the qualities of their medicine. I would have gladly accepted even if it means abandoning my dream of opening my own shop, But there was another capable pony for the job so I declined the clinic's offer, A few days later it was time for me to travel a little, Looking for the perfect town to set up a shop that fits my special talent. Rain was going to Flight Academy in Cloudsdale, But since she can go there by flying from anywhere at all she insisted on following me so we travelled together. That's when we came to Ponyville, We were greeted by a rather happy-go-lucky pink Pony. We decided to stay for awhile so the Mayor gave us a little house to stay in for a few days. I wanted to learn what kind of Jewels could be found here though before I set out for another town, At least I thought i was going to go to another town. So we headed for the local Treehouse Library. On the way we saw a young Pegasus learning how to fly. but she failed and was failed down to the Earth. Then a Pegasus came and rescued the little Filly and put her down on the ground safely. We were very impressed and asked him for his name. his name was Windy and he was just going back to Flight Academy since he was done with his businesses in Ponyville. After he left Rain looked a bit nervous to me but I didn't let it bother me too much. we reached the Library, The Library was owned by a purple Unicorn named Twilight Sparkle and her assistant Spike, A dragon. I found the book I was looking for and told her I will return it next week. On the way I accidentally tripped myself and hurt my head. Rain thought it was serious and she picked me up and we flew all the way to the clinic. The doctor that was in charge at the time was Doctor Lavender Sunshine. She said it was nothing serious, I just landed on my head a bit too hard and got a slight headache. She gave me some painkillers and we went back home. A few days later, I've been thinking about making the house I'm staying in my own shop. I talked about it with the Mayor and she said she will give the house to me. But the things I need like a Counter and other items like that I'm going to have to get them myself. So I worked myself for a whole week and i had enough bits to buy me all the necessary things. I work by selling jewelries I found up on the local mountain to famous Ponies that visits the town from time to time. like the infamous Earth Pony Photo Finish. and so I finally had my own shop and Rain went to Cloudsdale and stayed in Flight Academy. Now it's the present, and that weird spell Alouette messed up on that we switched bodies. Haha those were good times. I'm still surprised that she's the only Unicorn in the family while the three of us were Earth Ponies though. After that time where me and Alouette went back home. my Parents' died of old age one week later. Alouette wouldn't stop crying for 4 days straight and I had to comfort her every few hours. Now it's been 2 months since our parents' death. Now me and Alouette are running the shop together. I sell jewelries to Ponies and if they wish, They can request that they're made into accessories, Alouette handles that part. So now we're both a Jewelry and a Crafting shop. as for Rain's parents. I hear they've moved to Cloudsdale. And that is my Life story. "Hey sis we have a customer." "Oh coming!" Well it seems I have to take care of my shop now. thank you for listening to my story.
