Prologue

A figure crouched near the edge of a cliff. It was pale, a sickly gray color. It looked terribly skinny, its skeleton easily seen. That didn’t imply it was weak; small, but well built muscles powered its limbs. It’s head was bald, and its big black eyes were so large and uniform that it gave a skull like appearance. It had skinny fingers, not sharp at all. What was sharp was the artificial metal claws grafted onto its forearm and hand.

The Rake looked over Ponyville from the cliff-face it was on. It stared at the small figures going too and fro, while others stayed in one place, locked in stocks for public use. The females here, mares, were barely viewed as deserving of any form of respect, the males viewing them only as vessels for their phalluses.

The Rake didn’t really care. It had no use for sex or pleasure. Well, that wasn’t true. It loved tormenting people, taking after its Master. Master was the one who sent it here. Master gave the Rake free will to do anything it wanted here. It could go on a murder-spree, or just stay back and stare at Equestria’s inhabitants. There was only one catch: It couldn’t go home until it killed the Caribou’s leader, Xensor.

The Rake stared out at the town with its void-black eyes. It wouldn’t do that. At least, not yet. No...first it had to get a feel of Equestria. And maybe have some fun…

It felt it had stared at the town long enough. It was time to go to work…
