The spark from the spell had appeared on a hill, and they landed right there. It was a rocky landing, but it was great to be back.

'It worked again! We are back now!' Frisk exclaimed.

Seeing the buildings nearby, she knew it was Britannica they landed back on. 'Yep, it looks like we are home.' Twilight replied. She turned to Spike. 'Oh, and Spike?Do you mind if you go back to the palace now?We want some time...Alone,' Twilight said, her face turning red.

'I guess I don't mind,' Spike answered, and he left the two alone, under the tree that was under the night sky as they got back during the night.

The two lied on the soft grass of the hill. 'Twilly, do you have something to talk to me?' Frisk asked.

'I have a confession for you,' she replied. 'Through these past adventures, you have grown a lot in understanding friendship, and I am glad I met you.The day you resurrected me, afterlifI was glad I finally got out of the afterlife and was able to see a real chosen one on my side.Sure, I have been resurrected a few times before emperor Zebulon told you all about the secret of the cure, but meeting someone like you, it doesn't happen every day.'

Frisk's face was turning red too. 'Uhm, thanks, I guess. You have shaped me into the person I am today, I couldn't thank you more.'

Twilight smiled as well. 'Well, it's time that we head back, we have a lot of stuff to do.'

'We already had a long day...Can we spend some time here?' Frisk asked, showing her friend a cute face.

'I guess we could,  we're not in a hurry.' Twilight felt a little embarrassed.

'Thank, Twilly, because I want to say something too.'

         'What?' Twilight was curious.

Frisk was strangely at first, but she said, 'This sounds weird but...I feel like we are friends destined to be, I just hope you will always be my best friend.' And as awkward as it is, she lightly kissed Twilight on the cheek.

Twilight giggled a little. 'Frisk...You are so sweet,  of course, I'll be your best friend.'

'Do you promise me?' Frisk asked, giving Twilight the 'promise finger'. 'If you do, link your pinkie finger across mine and we'll make our promise.'

Just for the sake of this promise, Twilight turned into a human. 'Best friend promise,' She said. With their fingers crossed, they both said:

'I promise you, I will always be your best friend and you will always be my best friend in my heart.'

Twilight smiled as they let go. 'We'll be best friends forever, won't we?' She said, putting out her hand.

Frisk felt a little shy. 'We will, Twilly. Nothing can break our friendship, the same with how your friends were to you.' She took her hand.

'Come on, you can do better than that,' Twilight said, punching her playfully. Frisk chuckled.

'If you don't mind...Bring it in then,' She replied, bringing her close with her arm. Twilight felt a little odd but her heart was feeling so warm.

'Haha, you too Frisk, come here.' Twilight laughed, doing the same.

After a while of looking at the starry night sky, Frisk was bored.

'You know what, let's just go now.' She said.

Twilight nodded and started to go back down to the town. Frisk got up and wanted to follow, but she heard a voice in her ear.

'Frisk? Are you there?' Flashlight asked.

She turned around to see the goddess appearing in front of her eyes again.

'Hi Flashlight, what is it? I just saved the pony world!' Frisk exclaimed.

'Yes... Great job, I saw everything.'

Seeing her not following, Twilight called out to Frisk.

          'Frisk! Are you coming?'

Flashlight was worried. 'Come with me.'

'One minute, Twilly! I'll catch up to you!' Frisk made an excuse to stay longer.

They went to a familiar place; near a river.

'This place is familiar... Was this where the rebel meeting was held at?'

The goddess nodded. 'Correct. Now, about that: My identity cannot be revealed to anyone else before I revive. Only you can talk with me for now. And, this victory helped me to actually be in my human form, so I can communicate better.' She turned into a human. 'Anyway, great job on saving the ponykind, you made the right choice to risk your life to go to the moon.'

'Why are you so resistant to the others knowing you?' Frisk asked.

'Well... People will think like I am a ghost since others can't see me. Only you can communicate with me, and only you can see me. I'm afraid I will scare them.'

'So... What now? Is there anything I need to do now?'

Flashlight had a thought. 'In a few months, there will be a change. However... I fear a big problem is coming soon...'

          'What's that?'

'I can't tell you, stupid spell controlling me...' she sighed. 'Even so, I am glad to see you getting along with your best friend. It will play a big role in that adventure. By the way, you will meet quite a lot of new friends soon as well, so look forward to that.'

Frisk was curious. 'Interesting... Okay, Twilight is calling me. I have to go now.'

Flashlight nodded. 'Very well. I won't bother you if that's the case.'

A while after Frisk left, Flashlight teleported back to her home in heaven and sighed.

'(Sigh) Why is my brother so selfish? He wanted all the power he can get... I can't believe he even got to the extent of killing me, his sister.' She thought.

She saw a photo of them both, cuddling each other, like a loving pair of siblings.

'I miss you, Darkness... Will you come back to me one day?'
