Harmony Quest: Tale of the Light and Dark

          The night of the discussion, Starlight was heading back to her room in the castle to sleep, when suddenly she heard a lot of noise coming from Twilight's room.

          'I knew this would be bad!' She heard Twilight yell and went to her room to secretly listen to what's going on inside.

          'Twilly, please I-'

          'Don't you Twilly me, your idea made Canterlot destroyed!' Twilight yelled.

          Frisk tried to calm her down. 'I never expected this. Please don't hurt me... We can win this war for the ponies.'

         'And I don't think we'll possibly be able to,' Twilight replied. 'You think you can betray your own race? I swear, they will come capture you!'

          Frisk was getting upset. She never heard her best friend challenge her and yell at her like that before.

         'Well, you think I am stupid just because I had this whole collaboration idea? Don't you remember we have technology as they do? We can still win.' Frisk said.

          'Not if we can't use them properly. We have never used them really.' Twilight replied.

          Frisk sighed. 'I don't like you being like this...'

          'So? I can say the same, you should be the one calming down!' Twilight was furious as well.

          'Ugh, if you really want us to argue on like this, I don't care.' Frisk never thought she'd say that.

          'Oh, breaking our bond? If you really want to go that way, then fine!' Twilight yelled at her friend, not even feeling any guilt.

          'Fine! Are we settled?' Frisk was getting really mad at her friend, about to leave.

          'I hope I never see you again!' They both shouted at each other, letting out a hmph as Frisk closed the door.

          Starlight heard what happened, but got kicked away to the side as Frisk came out.

          'Frisk, are you crazy?' She warned her.

          Frisk pushed her away. 'Nope, I'm breaking up with Twilight.'

          Starlight was puzzled. 'Yup, she is definitely crazy.' She saw Asriel chilling by. 'Asriel, what is wrong with your sister?'

          'What?'

          'She broke her bond with Twilight.'

          Asriel was shocked. 'What!? Did she get brainwashed by the humans or something?'

          'Nah, I think that's not the case. But one thing is for sure: I have no idea how to get them back together again.'

          For the next few days, the two didn't talk to each other at all. It was obviously very unusual since they used to be very close, and the rest of the group have no idea what to do to fix the situation. About a week later, when Frisk was thinking about how the ponies can fight back in the throne room, something bad happened.

          'How can I lead them to win this war? I can't think of any way we can possibly beat the humans!' She thought.

          Suddenly, someone familiar tapped her on the shoulder.

          'Frisk, forgive me.' He said.

          Frisk turned back. 'Huh? What in-Ahh!' She got punched in the face and got tied up.

          Starlight heard her yell and woke up in the middle of the night. 'Frisk? Oh no, what is it now?' She quickly ran to the throne room and saw her friend with someone she didn't expect.

          'Nathan? Why are you doing this!?' Starlight shouted.

          He was sweating really badly but tried his best to resist the guilt he is having. 'Starlight... I am so sorry, I was forced to do this,' He cried. 'Please tell the others I didn't mean to... Please don't hurt me...'

          Starlight was really upset. 'Don't do this, please... You guys already have the advantage, you are taking Frisk as well?

          Frisk was struggling for a bit but then sighed. 'It's okay Nathan. Take me away if you have to.'

          Nathan was shocked. 'Huh? But... your friends, Equestria, possibly gone forever! Are you sure?'

          'If Twilight is not going to be with me...' Frisk sighed again, she never thought she will be saying this. 'We're going to decide which of us is better, and I'm going to join you guys for assistance. We just broke up, and it seems that we may want to kill each other now...'

          'If that's what you want... I don't feel as guilty anymore.' Nathan said, opening the portal he managed to break in from earlier.

          Frisk wasn't all that happy or sad that she's leaving, but in her heart, she knows that betraying her own kind will not be a good idea.

          'Starlight, if you see me in battle... And if I am going to kill you... I pray you guys will be safe in the afterlife.' She said with a little grin on her face.

          The next day, the group got the news.

          'What!? UGH, just great! We lost our MVP, now how are we gonna win this war?' Rainbow exclaimed in horror.

          'Oh no... Frisk Dreemur, she could've guided us to victory, but now she's gone...' Celestia sighed.

          'How the hay are we gonna survive now? If she's on their side, we don't stand a chance!' Applejack was worried.

          Just then, Twilight came in.

          'What's all the racket?' She asked.

          Asriel was surprised she didn't know. 'Your friend got captured by Nathan!'

          Twilight had an upset look. 'Who cares what happens to her?' Everypony gasped at her answer.

          'I thought you two were best friends?' Luna asked.

          'Not anymore. We broke up a week ago.'

          After that day, the group became more connected to the royal guard, since they had to discuss plans for the war with them. As they continued on, they wished Frisk was able to help them. Well, at least almost everypony. Asriel stuck around the team to help, and he was lucky that he got to stay.

          Twilight Sparkle became the leader of the ponies, with full help from the other princesses. Asriel was also helping her as well, hoping that even if they couldn't win, they can get the two friends back together. But, the human kind was growing fast; and soon Frisk will be leading the humankind into the war (Which I will get into that in the next chapter).

          The ultimate battle... Princess Twilight leading the ponies, and Frisk Dreemur leading the humans. The two friends who were once so close, have entirely separated at once. Only one kind stands, the other falls. Standing tall on both sides, they had the same thought:

          'Humans/Ponies will stand, and you will fall. Let this ultimate war begin.'
