My Destiny

The next morning, my Mother awakes me, telling me to get ready and to go downstairs. I leap out of my bed, and my wing has another sharp pain. I slowly head towers the bathroom, to take a shower, and to brush my teeth.

Thirty minutes later, I walk down the stairs- instead of my usual fly, Mom, Dad, and the siblings are back, and I am inundated with questions.

"Ocean Breeze are you okay? My coach told me what happened after the tournament." Windy Burn tells me.

"What happened?" Jeweled Pencil, my youngest sibling asks.

"Can you fly?"

"How does your wing feel?" Dad asked.

Now it is my turn to ask a question."Do you guys all have to ask me at once? Like, I know you are worried and all, but really?" I may have come off a little mean, but, I had to tell them." No, I will not be able to fly for a while, because I crashed into a tree. And whenever my wing moves just the slightest bit, it has a sharp pain." I explain.

Snowflake Star comes up to me, she is four years younger at me, at the age of nine. She carries a fabric and gives it to me. " I made you a sling, I don't know if it will fit. she helps me to put it on my wing.

"Thankyou! It fits perfect."

She smiles.

There was a knock on the door. Sky opens it up and in comes a pegasus. She is cyan blue, with rainbow hair. My jaw drops. "Rainbow Dash! LOOK! IT IS THE RAINBOW DASH!"

"Sup!" she says.

Did Rainbow Dash just say 'sup' to me? This is the best day ever!!!!

"I heard about your wing, hope you get better. I myself have broken a wing once or twice - they don't call me Rainbow Crash for nothing - there is an above 60% you will be able to fly again."

Hearing those uplifting words,  from my hero, I can't help but smile." Thankyou!" I beam

"Have you practice your loop-the-loop twist dive, Sky?" Rainbow  Dash asked my brother

"Yes, and I am starting to get the hang of it."

"Good to hear." then looking around the room, she added, " You guys have a full house!"

" Well, that is my mom, my dad. Ocean Breeze, Windy Brun, Jeweled Pencil, and Snowflake Star, also there is me. our house is always full, and then Vapor Trail comes over often.

Rainbow Dash let out a whistle. I  love when she does that. "Hey, Rainbow Dash, can you do some tricks?" I ask. I know all of her signatures moves, but it would be amazing if I could see them in person.

"Sure thing!" we all went out to the backyard.

Rainbow Dash flew up and bucked some clouds out of the sky. Us below clapped. Next, she did loop-the-loops. She twisted in a downward spiral,  till she was 5 feet from the ground.  just as I thought she was to land, she shot right back up faster than I ever could.  And boom! I couldn't believe my eyes! She just did a  RAINBOOM!

Whe oohed and ahhed.  Rainbow dash is famous for her very fist rainboom, where her friends earned their cutie mark at the same time, I was kind of hoping that I would have earned my cutie mark right there and then. I checked my flank, but it was still blank, but at least I saw one in person!
