Chapter 2 of "LBTB"
I stand up this morning still covered in blood... Its wet, sticky and smelled bad... I went to a nearby lake to wash myself clean, as i was finishing up i heard crying... I went to investigate... Its a pony Pegasus... There were 2 things going inside my head; 1: if i kill it, i finally get respect from my sister, then the endless torture will end... 2: i cant kill it, it looks too innocent... but still i grabbed all my courage together and jumped out of the bush... She notices me and stands up... She said: kill me quick, i serve no purpose on this world anymore... She lays back down and stretches her neck... I had a full chance of ending her life and making my sister proud... But i decided to sit down and ask: why do you think that? She looks weird at me, she probably thought i would just kill her... She said: i have a hard life living, i have parents who are in divorce and arguing about with who i go, and sadly i have nothing to say about it... I said: so you walked away to basically get yourself killed? She answered: yes, basically i thought: the first thing that finds me can do what he wants... I replied: can i may help you? She said: yes, bite me to death... I started stuttering and said: i cant, i just cant kill, i wish i had the guts to take someones life, then my sister would finally be proud, then she doesn't think i am a worthless drone... I started crying... I said crying: then i could finally make her happy, and call me a worth full family member... She said: take me, then we all win. i said: i cant, it doesn't feel right, killing a innocent living being that has family, friends, tasks and problems, for me it just doest feel right... She said: well i have none of those things... I just doesn't wanna live anymore... For some reason i felt weird and said: i know something that maybe worth living... i kissed her on the lips... She closes her eyes... She looked surprised and said: thank you, for some unknown reason, that was worth living... She hugs me and said: why?
I said: i don't know, i feel like i had to... She said: you are pretty cool for a changeling... I said: thanks, you look pretty calm for a pony, normally ponies run away and scream when i just even stand in front of them... She said: i wont, i mean i don't really care what happens to me right now... I said: you should, you are a lucky being, lucky to be able to live a good and happy life without beings screaming because of your appearance, where beings don't judge you because of what race you are... She said: i feel you. I said: i wish i could go away from this place, live a happy and "normal" life, happy, loved, and satisfied... She said: you could, maybe if we work together... I asked: worked? She said: maybe we can meet up tomorrow so we could escape together, find a better life, together... I said: i don't know... She said: i just see you here tomorrow ok?I said: i don't know, not here, my sister is always on hunt, she is a merciless murderer with a obsession for pony's... She said: then lets go today, i mean we cant go to my house... I said: and we certainly cant go to the hive, they will steal your love and kill you... She said: you wont steal my love right? I said: no, not on purpose at least, i can't do anything about it when I'm hungry, i usually steal the love from the pony's my sister catches, i hate doing it but when your starving you don't really have a choice... She said: that sounds horrible, It actually sounds like you have a harder life than mine... I said: well, if you get beaten up everyday because you refuse to do your work because you don't like to hurt ponies then yeah, life can be pretty hard... She said in shock: that sounds terrible... I said: you get used to it... She said: no you don't, you just don't, i mean i get ignored and left alone but, how can you live with that? I said: it just happens, its only because i never kill, for the rest my sister cares for me, shares the love she steals and protects me against older hivelings... She said: still, it sounds horrible, so the life of a changeling isn't really easy... I said: its not, it totally is not, i always pray that we get accepted, that we no longer have to kill to stay alive... She said: you doesn't seem that bad... I said: I'm not, i don't know why but I'm highly against violence against the innocent, despite that i have been told since birth to steal and kill... She said: that is a good thing... I said: it kinda is, i guess, but i don't know what to do, i cant see a way out, i even thought about ending it all... She asked: you mean, killing ponies? I said: no, killing myself... She said: oh, i didn't... I said: i wouldn't be the first, we changelings are always hungry, and nothing to satisfy it, sometimes, too painful to live with... She said: i knew changelings had a hard time living but i didn't know it was that bad... I said: it is, but i just know one day there will be piece between all races, that is my biggest wish... She looks at me, staring deep into my eyes. She said in a sweet soft voice: that is so sweet. She closes in to me for a small kiss, it felt so lovely, my heart beats faster as our lips touch, i could feel the love flow thru the air, not really getting absorbed but, just, flowing. I said: that felt good, what did you just do? She said: i just gave you some love. I said: thank you, that was nice of you... She gives me a hug... She said: funny, the nicest person I've met is a changeling. I said: and i don't even know your name... She said: I'm sorry, my name is Amanda Tealover... I said: my name is Magnus Dreamscape, that is the name my father said me and my sister had, normally changelings don't get last names, but my father told me it was important to remember... She said: okay Mr Dreamscape, what should we do next? I said: i don't know, i usually don't go far from the hive... She said: we could live the outside life in and around Ponyville, always sleeping somewhere else and eating cheap food, you only absorb love so that also spares money... I said: everything is probably better than staying with my sister... She said: well lets go then. I said: how would you want me to look like? She asked: what? I said: a changeling in Ponyville is like a sheep in a dragon nest, i need a disguise. She said: uh, white with brown mane. I said: cutie mark? She said: a purple heart with a red outline. I said: why? She said: because purple is my favorite color... I change my green eyes to purple, i changed my form to her given description. I asked: like this? She said: perfect. We both close in for a tongue kiss... She said: were off to a good start.
chapter 1: day in day out
The kill
Chapter 1 of "LBTB"
I am sleeping the cave with the other changelings, like usual.
Suddenly My sister wakes me up.
"follow me and mouth shut." she said while wispering
I always listens to my sister, i know i had to listen to older members.
She takes me to a place in the forest...
Suddenly she whispers "stay low and behind my tail."
Suddenly we hear singing... "there it is, your first kill"
I whispered loudly "kill?" "yes, jump out and bite it in the neck."
I started slightly crying "i don't want to."
"you have to because if you don't i will make sure you wished you did so you do what i say and i say and jump!"
she wispered loudly in my ear.
Out of pure reflexes i jump out of the bush.
The pony got overwelmed and fell on its back.
Cornered against a tree it screamed. "please take what you want but let me go."
I started to slowly back off of guilt.
As soon as it tries to run my sister jumps out of the bush and tackles it.
With a angry face she drags the pony over and lays it in front of me.
My sister screamed "kill it!"
I started crying and backed off.
She took its neck in her mouth.
Screaming in pure terror the pony starts to wrestle with itself.
Then she bit its neck right open.
She ripped it all the way to the belly.
a few seconds later the screaming stopped.
Blood was visible everywhere.
We both were covered in blood.
"you had it! completely cornered! what is wrong with you!
and that useless crying, and you used to be family with me, how disappointing."
I said with tears flowing down my face "I just don't like to kill, i-."
She cuts me off saying in a mocking voice "I don't like to kill pony's,
you only need to kill to protect yourself, blah blah blaaaah!"
She screamed "you're useless, how dare you to call yourself a drone,
childcare is a better rank for you!
if i were queen i would've banished you until you caught something and ripped it open right in front of my own eyes!"
I started crying... She puts her hoof around my neck and said "better luck next time, just don't fail me again ok."
And she smiled at me. Despite my failure she keeps trying every time.
And even tho i never hurt anyone i still felt the guilt because of the blood i had on me, and the memory that is now casted into my brain.
I thought about what the poor creature would've done next if we weren't there,
if it had a family, if it had children to care of.
All those thoughts made me feel ill and i couldn't sleep for the night.
