Too Far?

Poppy was on her way to visit Cream Cake, she was running down the halls of the orphanage. Caring a basket of oatmeal cookies. Knowing they we're Cream Cake's favorite snack. Poppy stopped by Meadow's room door and opened it. And what she saw made her heart sink, Cream Cake was on Meadow's bed. His right back leg was scratching against his side's furiously. Some of his fur (including the hair-like fluff) was missing. As there was very visible red and pink splotches all over his body. And as Cream Cake scratched more and more some of his fur flew up into the air. Poppy dropped the basket and gasped, that is when Cream Cake realized Poppy was there. Cream Cake blushed a deep red and yelped as he tried to hide behind one of Meadow's pillows.

"Cream Cake! What happened to you!?" Poppy cried, Cream Cake blushed redder.

"I-I don't know! I took my usual dust bath last night and ever since then I-I can't stop scratching!" Cream Cake said clearly distressed. That's when the puzzle pieces clicked together, Poppy's eye's narrowed. She then grabbed Cream Cake by his tail and Cream Cake yelped again. Poppy then flipped a loose floor bored out-of-place and jumped down the hole with Cream Cake. The pet's we're all in Timidthy's room. Though Babe and Saphy couldn't help but notice the smug smiles on Crackers face. A loose floor board pop up along with Poppy and Cream Cake. Poppy set Cream Cake on the ground and the other's gasped seeing him in the condition that he was. While Cream Cake blushed and tried to hide himself,

Crackers paled slightly as Poppy marched towards him.

"IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL A PRANK!?" Poppy screamed at the top of her lungs. Everypony's eye's we're immediately on Crackers.

"I-I didn't know that would happen!" Crackers said jestering towards Cream Cake.

"A-A prank?" Cream Cake said as his ears twitched slightly, Crackers smiled nervously.

"Yeah I mixed a jar of itching powder in with your dust." Crackers said, Cream Cake's ears twitched again as his face turned an unnatural shade of red.

"Let me get this straight.......you violated my privacy......caused me to look like this.....and You thought that would be funny?" Cream Cake said in a hushed tone, by then the pet's had ducked out-of-the-way to avoid Cream Cake's furry. Poppy included, but she had a smirk knowing that Cream Cake was ready to blow.

"Yeah but I didn't know that it would affect you this way." Crackers said he then stared at Cream Cake who still had a mask of furry. Cream Cake sighed as his ears drooped, he then simply turned around and leapt down the hole. Everypony gawked they couldn't believe what had just happened.

"How!?" Poppy finally screamed,

"He should've exploded!" Crackers smirked.

"Well looks like he's lover not a fighter. And so far thing's are looking up for me." Crackers said smugly, Poppy blushed a deep red and growled as she stormed off.

"Okay ssspill, what are you two planning?" Saphy said calmly,

"Yeah what's going on?" Mrs.Oinkers said. Crackers smug grin fell,

"Well me and Poppy made a bet about if Cream Cake will lose his temper or not by the end of the week." Crackers said as he rubbed his wing nervously on the back of his neck. Saphy, Mrs.Oinkers and Babe rolled their eye's.

"What's at stake?" Babe asked, Crackers blushed red.

"I'm not comfortable saying but a lot is at stake." Crackers said. Meanwhile Cream Cake was sulking on his bed as he scratched miserably. He heard the loose floor board fly up and turned around to see Poppy. Cream Cake blushed redder and turned away quickly.

"I know your embarrassed, but I'm here to make you feel better!" Poppy said cheerfully. Cream Cake thought he heard a small squirt. Suddenly Cream Cake felt something cold run against his tail and jumped. Cream Cake turned his head and saw Poppy next to a bottle of Cortisone 10 Intensive Healing Itch Cream. Poppy wore a sheepish grin, while Cream Cake blushed a deep red.

"Like I said I want to make you feel better." Poppy said nervously, Cream Cake blushed redder and smiled. Poppy smiled and continued spreading the ointment on Cream Cake's back. Cream Cake blushed madly, 'I'm glad Poppy came or else I'd be miserable right now.' Cream Cake thought as he felt the itchiness on his body go away. Meanwhile Crackers was at Bumper's house trying to plan another prank. But this time not something that could hurt him physically. Bumper looked over to a bottle of fake blood Bumper had left behind and smiled.

"So I attach a bag of that stuff to the top of Cream Cake's cage and bingo Cream Cake will be screaming bloody murder!" Crackers said, Crackers flew over to the bottle and poured the fake blood into very delicate bag. Crackers carefully let his talons hold the bag and flew towards the orphanage. He was about to fly into Meadow's room but stopped when he heard voices. Poppy had covered Cream Cake's back, side, and neck with the ointment.

"I think I'll do the rest." Cream Cake said tiredly, Poppy nodded and left. Cream Cake walked into his cage and put the rest of the cream on. Wrapped himself up in his favorite silk blanket and went to sleep. Crackers smirked. While quietly and carefully opened the cage door and set up a needle at the end of the door where the hinges started. The she placed the bag on the top of the door so that when Cream Cake opened it he'd be right in the splash zone. Crackers flew out of Meadow's room and snickered. As he thought of what Cream Cake's reaction would be.
