Harmonic woke up the next morning still feeling exhausted from the previous night's events. Scootaloo was fast asleep on his chest. Atmospheric walked into the room shortly after his eyes had opened.

"Are you okay, honey," she whispered inquisitively.

"Not really, but I'm alive."

"What are you going to do now?"

Harmonic looked at the sleeping child.

"I'll let her rest. She needs it; probably more than I do."

"For what it's worth, I think you'd be a good dad."

"Where did that come from?"

"Ever since that day, you've looked out for everyone's well-being. You knew even children were susceptible to the evils of the world. You took what you learned and opened up to those who were suffering. I think you've really made a difference in other's lives."

"You have too."

"Not to the same extent you have."

"Stop doubting yourself. You're just as important as anyone else, and even more so to me."

"So are you."

"I love you, Atmospheric. Don't ever think what you do doesn't matter. Your gentle and caring nature touches lives in a way my darkness never can."

"I won't, and you don't forget what your darkness can do. You cared for me when nobody else even knew what happened."

"I'm sorry it had to be that way."

"Don't be. There was nothing we could've done."

"Thank you for everything you've done for me."

"And you for me."

"Can I ask you something?"

"What?"

"If I were to become a father, would you be their mother?"

Atmospheric moved closer and kissed him.

"I'd be honored."

"Mm..."

"Looks like she's waking up. You two should get a move on soon."

"Yeah. You're right."

Atmospheric left the room so the two of them could talk without any distractions. Scootaloo slowly opened her eyes. She saw Harmonic at eye level.

"Morning, kiddo."

"Morning..."

Harmonic rubbed her back slowly to comfort her. Last night was taxing on both of them.

"Don't worry, Sweetheart. It's almost over..."
