It was a quiet night in Equestria and all were fast asleep shunning the moon until the next Sunrise that was led by their Queen. Her name was Celestia, she was full of wisdom, grace that has grown by living for centuries. She was an Alicorn, which were known to live forever and never age when they reach a certain age. However to become an Alicorn a pony is tested and proven by doing a worthy princess deed that is not given but revealed by their mentors once they pass their noble quest. A worthy deed is made when a great change takes place in Equestria, if it's based off something good they receive a mighty pair of wings and crown with a title that will be their full purpose as they play their part in the world.

But becoming an Alicorn comes with a heavy price of responsibility, along with great sorrow. However Celestia has been alive for so long that going through the process of grief was turned into peace. As the queen she has grown into strong leader, mother, wife and a faithful friend to those around her as a student or fellow companion.

On a calm early morning she walked across the balcony determined to raise the sun, behind her was a little baby filly that was waddling to catch up to her. She had a light purple coat with a dragon tail that matched her fur with a fluffy dark purple tail piece at the end with a black and red streaks mixed inside to match her mane that was mostly violet with the same pattern but was pulled to one side like Princess Cadence but much shorter for she was only two years old.

Celestia smiles softly as her horn began to glow, creating a yellow aura that flowed down to the filly. Gently the magic carried the toddler all the way up to her back so she can better view for their special moment together that they share every morning, watching the sunrise. The two watched as Luna lowered the moon to end the beautiful night so Celestia can raise the orange circle of fire to start a new day again for her subjects to begin their daily activities.

"Are you ready?"

The filly quickly nods excited to see the sunrise with her. The white mare smiles softly by the young ones enthusiasm to her job that she has done for years, at least now she has a reason to enjoy with her granddaughter who was full of wonder. Her horn glows yellow and slowly the circle began to rise that soon gave the world its wonderful colors again by its radiant light that soared in the sky with her magic.

The young fillies eyes widen with amazement by the magic of the giant circle of light that made the world so colorful and alive. After it was over Celestia begins to go back inside the castle doors, her ears perked up by small yawns coming from the filly who was exhausted after waking up so early in the morning.

The white mare uses her magic to levitate the sleepy filly to her crib so she could rest her tiny eyes. Once she was covered by the blanket Celesta slowly tip toes away from the crib to escape the room so she can begin her daily paper signing but was soon caught by a small voice.

"Grandmare tell story?"

Celestia sighs and looks at the filly who was wagging her dragon tail back and forth hoping it would convince her to stay. The princess gives in and agrees by sitting by her crib and uses her magic to levitate a book to her face.

"No real one!", her shout was so loud that the book flew away back to the bookshelf.

Celestia was puzzled by her demand that she had to ponder and think of a good true story than she thought of one. In fact a story that was actually based off of a true story.

"Alright Athena I have one and it's a true story about your parents and how they saved the world"

Athena tilts her head curious "Dad-dah and mom save?"

Celestia chuckles by Athena’s response about her parents and their story on how they technology fell in love but Athena was to young for that so she had to change a few parts so the filly wouldn't get confused or worse traumatized so she left some parts out to protect her from confusion, or ask her overly protective son, who was her father.

"Well they were in way yes. But this story not only has adventure it also has danger and love"

"Love?"

Celestia thinks for a minute to find a way to carefully phrase this subject, she looks around and sees a small picture of herself with her mother and sister. Wanting to finish the story she levitates the picture in the air right to Athena so she can see it properly.

Celestia gives her the small frame "Here look at this picture and tell me what you see"

Athena was only two years old but knows a lot magic while causing trouble but that was just a bonus for her to have some fun, with the help of her funny Grandpa Discord. However her speech wasn't accurate enough to form sentences yet, after carefully looking at the picture she thinks of a way to correctly answer the question, then it hit her right in the head and new the perfect response.

"See grandmare, Auntie Woona, and other you?", she gives back the picture so her grandma could see it.

"Well you were close it was actually me with my sister Luna and my mother but good try", the filly folds her arms blushing scarlet red embarrassed.

The Alicorn looks at her softly while grabbing Athena so she could lay in the middle on her front hooves with the book so she was able to look at the pictures in the story that Celestia made with her magic that moved gracefully as she spoke.

The Queen turns a page and begins to tell the story, "Long ago we all lived in harmony Pegasus, Unicorn, and Earth ponies lived together in love and peace. My sister and I ruled Equestria together as one until her jealousy entered her heart by her age, and duty of lowering the moon and by the choice I made in the process of falling in love with her only friend she had ever made. My subjects never approved Discord they called him terrible things and rejected him harshly which caused his heart to grow hateful, blaming me for his pain. One day he tried to overrule Equestria with his power as the Lord of Chaos. I tried to reason with Discord but he refused my plea, and as being a princess I had to sacrifice my happiness by turning him to stone and Luna to the moon for the safety of my subjects. Time passed and my student Twilight Sparkle became friends five ponies who resembled the Elements of Harmony. Together they brought back peace and Harmony, and in the process reforming my sister Luna to the princess that she has grown to be. And with the help of Fluttershy she reformed Discord with her willing kindness when her friends did not. Much time has passed since, now the Elements of Harmony remain with the ones who hold them that love their own lives in love and peace."

As Celestia continues to tell the story it fades to the past to where it began on the day the barers of the elements were faced with danger at Pony-vile. It was a hideous bear like creature but with a brightly-colored fur like a bee, along with bug shaped wings, and four extra limbs of an insect that were twisted with thorns. The monster was powerful, angry, causing full destruction to the small town full of terrified ponies that watched helplessly from the safety of their homes as Twilight and her friends face the large monster.

"Come on girls we need to get this Bugbear away from the village!", encouraged Twilight to her friends.

"Easy for you to say this thing is huge!" yelled Rainbowdash irritated.

The pregnant blue mare was not going to lose against a giant bear that looked like a bug. She was great with foal that was due any day now, her anger was mostly focused on the monster who could hurt her unborn baby with its massive strength. Tired by the massive flying she created a storm cloud above the monster that could instantly eat her for lunch as a meal with a small dessert to go with it.

A yellow Pegasus who was flying right next to her noticed her poor friends frustration that she tried to comfort her by placing her gentle hoof on her shoulder.

"Um maybe we should try to be nice to it and maybe it will stop", Rainbowdash glared at the yellow mare in complete annoyance by her suggestion that kindness would get the Bugbear to leave their town.

"Quiet Fluttershy and help me!", her yell caused Fluttershy to go completely silent leaving her in almost tears.

A southern earth pony with a hat looked up and noticed her friend was crying silently to herself by Rainbow's rude outburst, she moves her hat slightly back against her head to show respect to her parents before her as she takes a deep breath.

"Now Rainbow there is no reason to yell she is just trying to find a better way to solve this." says Applejack trying to calm down the tempered blue mare who was at the brink of losing it completely.

After giving Rainbowdash a pep talk, instead of having a mature understanding she received a nasty glare from the Pegasus who was filled with so much rage that she turns red and explodes like a volcano that was erupting blasts of anger and frustration to the sky.

"I AM CALM!", her shouting was so unsettling that it causes the BugBear to attack at the mares with its claws.

The mares dodged its massive claws that held sharp talons that could tear them in half if it got close enough for it to snatch one of them up to devour their tiny pony bodies full of fresh flesh, blood, and organs.

As for Twilight she remained calm well tried to be calm for she knew that being a princess held great responsibility and that everything she did would be held accountable for her actions. However the monster was attacking her friends that were being thrown into roofs, wagons, and to the ground who were now unable to defend themselves by its strength. Her eyes narrowed down and began to glow dark blue allowing her Alicorn magic to merge to her eyes to her horn ready to strike.

But before she was able to make her final attack Fluttershy's scream broke her concentration that she was tossed to the ground by the bear's mighty claw. Tired by the fall she laid her head down on the dirt next to Applejack that slid by her side exhausted but strong enough to get to her friend.

"Stay away from her!", a four legged dragon appeared in front of the timid Pegasus that was trying to protect her from the hideous monster that planned on having them all for a midnight snack.

The dragon was shaped like a pony but almost Luna's height but slightly taller. His coat was white like snow but with a grey misty color mixed together to create a unique appearance. Fluttershy watched him as he fought against the monster, as she continued to look at him she could see that his two front hooves had three claws like a dragon that evenly matched his coat. However his tail was red and scaly like a dragon but it had a little fluffy black tail at the end, his cutie-mark was a giant half-carved moon with three triangles around the outside with a star in the middle on the moon.

Fluttershy blushed by his massive strength, his bravery, but his eyes made her heart skip a beat by his gentle glance that gave her protection from the threat of the monster. He continued to help her and her injured friends by breathing fire at it giving it a distraction before he pounced on the large bear-bug, he climbed up its back and bites down hard on its left ear so it back away from the mares as they stare flabbergasted on what was happening.

The bear-bug grabs the stranger and roars at his face but only to be roared back, each showing their fangs in anger and pure rage, and finally without knowing his horn began to glow a bright yellow aura of magic that strikes directly at the beast, turning it into a teddy bear.

His mighty large wings stretched out in full length so he could hover above the ground to catch the toy, he chuckles at it but to be interrupted by cheers from down below him showing gratitude for his selfless deed. He flies down and sees a young little filly looking at him, while hiding by her mother nervous, he gives her the toy gently to her with a small smile on his face showing her he was friendly.

She smiles as she takes the teddy bear screaming in delight as she runs away blushing, he looks over and sees the mares injured and scattered all around the the village.

"Everyone alright anypony hurt?", he goes to Fluttershy who was shaking.

"Here let me help you it's okay I wont hurt you", he assures her while lending his claw like hoof out to her.

She grabs his hoof slowly still scared but after seeing him smile she began to trust him more with his act of bravery and kindness. After receiving help from her new friend she looks over but only to see her other friends shaking off dirt, and stretching out their legs. Fluttershy runs to them in panic in search of any injuries while the stallion uses his magic to fix old wagons that have been broken.

To improve his abilities he began to lift them up to see if anypony was trapped underneath the heavy piles of destroyed wagons of supplies. A moan is heard from the distance, he gets closer to it to allow himself to quickly save the pony who was trapped.

"Hello is anypony there? Speak of you're injured"

"I'm hurt very much hurt", says a mare who was buried under two broken wagons.

Not wasting anytime he rapidly uses his magic to lift the wagons to grab her with his red dragon tail so she wouldn't be crushed by the broken pieces of wood.

"I'm so sorry are you hurt??", the mare rolls her eyes and glares at him.

"Who me? No not at all I was just resting there. What do you think?! Obviously I'm hurt! Ow!", her yell caused the stallion to grow awkwardly silent.

The stallion puts her down gently with his tail so he wouldn't cause the mare more pain and irritation.
Twilight goes to her aid and heals her with her magic, and just to be sure she uses a spell to see inside her stomach to make sure that her and the baby were both fully healed with no complications.

"Here Rainbow", she says calmly as she used her magic to heal the pegasus.

Rainbowdash looks at her stomach than back at Twilight with a soft grin "Thanks Twilight"

Twilight nods, "You're welcome Dash and thank you for saving us wait... YOU'RE AN ALICORN? YOU'RE A PRINCE?!", she goes around him and investigates his body and fangs. Soon after her discovery she continues to observe him while talking.

"I've never seen an Alicorn like before let alone a different race. Maybe Celestia can help and who knows she'll say when she meets you! THIS IS SO EXCITING!!"

He stretches out his wings and looks at them "Really? Huh? so that's what I'm called? Aw bummer and I was hoping I was going to a pretty princess", he winks at her.

Soon after his roast towards Twilight her friends laughed by his clever response towards her excitement, leaving her alone covering her face with her wing to hide the scarlet red dots. He looks down to the side in discomfort by his sore body, he uses his wings to hide his bruises near his belly be the monsters strong grip.

"Um Twilight isn't Princess Cadence, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart coming to visit?", says Rainbowdash as she points towards the castle.

Twilight gasps "Oh no the visit-"

Twilight hits her head with her hoof she had completely forgotten about the visit that she begins to walk back and forth in panic not knowing what to do. Applejack places her hoof on the frustrated mare to calm her down from her made self-panic attack.

"Easy Twi. Look tell ya what we'll go to your castle and get things ready while you and ah..", he smiles and bows to the farm mare.

"Toren. At your service m'lady", the mares blush by his charm.

Anxious about the whole idea about seeing the princesses he turns around while opening his large wings, then goes up with a small leap to gain altitude to quickly fly up to a fluffy white cloud, the stallion walks in a circle and sits on it to give the mares some space.

Twilight smiles and sighs "Thank you girls I'll be back soon.", they smile back and all went up to her and formed a small group hug.

The purple princess extends her wings out and soars in the sky to reach up to Toren who was waiting for her to lead the way to Canterlot when they could just teleport there with their magic but instead they fly across the clouds in the sky to bond.

The rest of the ponies begin to walk back to to Twilight's castle to help set everything for her friend's family visit, as they walk down the halls Applejack looks at Rarity with a small smile as she looks at the unicorns beauty and grace.
Applejack then gets back to the task of fixing up the castle by getting her attention.

She gives Rarity a cheesy smirk "So Rarity what's the plan?"

She stops immediately with harshness in her body that gave Applejack an upset stomach regretting her decision entirely. The unicorn was filled with complete anger of the thought of being held accountable for that kind of position if anything it should be Pinkie that should be responsible for that sort of hobby since that's all she does besides breaking the forth wall.

The earth pony looks at Rarity waiting for her response with a cheeky grin to ease the tension she had created to the mare of her dreams. Applejack has had the biggest crush on Rarity ever since she was a young filly but never told anyone, not even her own family in fear of being rejected and disowned by her own blood or her friends including Rarity. So she has kept in inside so deep that it would hurt her stomach.

She points at her "ME?! Why me this was your idea?!".

Applejack really wanted to kiss her to calm her down but all she could do was place her hoof on the mare's shoulder.

Applejack softly chuckles, "Well would better than the fashion mare herself, and besides it could be fun, and we'll do it together"

Rarity sighs softly with a small nod agreeing to the idea even if it meant getting out of her comfort zone.
Pinkie however was thrilled with the plan so much that she pounces on Starlight who was carrying books with her magic not knowing that the optimistic fluffy maned pony was about to attack her with a random hug until it was too late. She was knocked over with the mare's loving embrace that took control of her completely, along with her magic aura that held the books from gravity that took its course falling on top of them.

Pinkie zooms her face in Starlight's excited "Hey Starlight! You ready for the party!"

Starlight blushes slightly, "Hey Pinkie nice to see you too. Oh hey every pony what brings you here?", before any pony could respond Pinkie took the role to tell the story

"We're here to help Twilight get everything for the visit of Shining Armor, Princess Cadence and Flurry! Because Twilight had to take the new Ali-".

Starlight stopped her from talking with her magic. Shock by her move she allows Starlight to rant remembering what happened to her mouth when Trixie was evil by having her poor innocent mouth being deleted from her face, literally.

Starlight's eyes widen in full panic "Wait that's today?! Oh no I completely forgot I was so busy doing my studies and writing to Sunburst that I lost track of time! Oh no what do I do!", the mare paces back and forth hoping this was a dream.

Applejack goes to her and lifts her chin up "Don't worry Starlight we are here to help", her remark gave poor Starlight some comfort to relax having full trust in her friend.

Willing to help the rest of the mares nod in unison ready to get to work.
RainbowDash spins up and grabs some tools and throws at each pony with encouragement.

"Well what are we waiting lets get to work!", she flies off and disappears.

Fluttershy quickly flying behind her in close watch so she wouldn't get the baby hurt by her reckless flying and enthusiasm.

After a song number about cleaning and preparation the castle was shining with glee. The crystal walls were covered with brightly colored decorations that matched the scenery of the food that was perfectly placed on the table. Spike walks in with a box of more decorations with streamers for the castle. He puts it down gently, the young dragon has grown much taller and was the size of the mares but longer in height.

The dragon had no wings but has grown and is now 15 years old but had the maturity of a full grown stallion. However his feelings for Rarity had not changed at all knowing she'll never be with him after so many dates with other Stallions. But he still has hope in his eyes of that chance when she will be all alone hurt and he'd be her knight and shining armor to save her from pain and terminal.

Spike smiles "Hey Rarity you look- Wow! This place looks amazing this party is gonna be a blast!", Starlight looks around and fixes the punch.

Spike walks around with glee, "This place looks amazing they are going to love it you out did yourself Rarity", the white mare blushes red as she looks through the box of left over decorations.

She smiles at Spike with a small chuckle, "Oh why thank you darling now where are the blue streamers", as she looks through the box Pinkie gets concerned realizing it was a prank she had forgotten about that was meant for Twilight.

She runs to the box in attempting to stop Rarity from opening it, "Rarity wait that's not!"

But it was to late the box explodes confetti and streamers fly everywhere leaving Rarity with a black face and party favor supplies all in her hair. Rarity's face was bright red in rage and complete agony of her new tragic appearance. Pinkie's eyes are filled with water trying to to fight the urge the laugh but just walks away slowly leading to to full speed leap as she's chased by Rarity that wanted to turn her into a big bag of party favors and cake.

Rarity yells at Pinkie "Pinkie! Get back here!"

At this point all Pinkie could do was laugh and run away from the mare so she would have a chance to live and create more parties in the future.

Sorry this one is short but I wanted to have Toren with Twilight in the next chapter where they meet the royal siblings. And boy will it be a treat. XD
