Hearts vs. Roses

Pink Rose waited in a bush, watching Cyan Heart's every movement. She took out her knife and lunged for Cyan.

But out of seemingly nowhere, Crystal (a water half ghost half pony) blocked the knife from Prose's hoof.

Pink stared. "Oh, would you look at this. Waterfall is back again~"

"Oh look who it is!" Crystal mocked. "A pathetic piece of shit that would love to paint a house red~"

"Don't breathe too much into yourself, Crystal. Why do you even WORSHIP water, anyway?! Because you have nothing to do with your sad excuse of a life?" Pink smirked.

"I don't worship water." Crystal said. "I made water MAGIC.  And, without water, none of us would be here right now."

"Ha! Trying to defend yourself?! I'm gonna put the 'cry' in 'Crystal' for you!" Pink laughed.

She lit her soft pink horn and shot a lightning beam at Crystal. Crystal tried to dodge, but got hit. She screamed in pain as she got electrocuted.

"All you Hearts are going to pay from taking Yellow away from us." Pink grumbled. She stepped towards Cyan.

"As for you, you're about to suf-" Cyan was looking behind Prose in terror. Cyan lit her necklace.

"What are you looki- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Pink started, but got cut off by a huge tidal wave taking over her. She washed up on the outskirts of Heart Village, coughing up blood and water. Her blonde mane was drenched.  She suddenly heard what sounded like a female psychopath laughing.

Crystal went running up to her. "Don't deny the power of the Hearts." Crystal said, only her voice was most distorted. Her pale pink eyes were smaller, and her light-translucent coat was glowing. Crystal's watered blue mane  was flowing.

Pink's cyan eyes stared at the ghost-bat pony-Pegasus hybrid. She was amazed at her beauty.

"H-how are you that beautiful?" Pink moaned, coughing up more blood.

"I have a beautiful personality." Crystal started.  "Unlike you."

Crystal pulled out a syringe from her wing. "Remember what I said earlier? I said you look like you want to paint the town red." Crystal walked to the trembling Unicorn.

"I WON'T TELL ANYONE. I PROMISE I WON'T TELL ANYONE! GET AWAY FROM ME PLEASE! I'LL TELL THE OTHER ROSES TO LEAVE THE HEARTS ALONE! I WON'T KILL ANYPONY ELSE IN THE HEART FAMILY. PLEASE!!" Pink pleaded.

Crystal only laughed. "So much fear~" She injected the deep blue liquid into Pink's neck.

The last thing Pink remembered before she blacked out was Crystal's smirk and a stabbing feeling in her neck.
