The Origin Story of Adean

Snowball and I flew distances away from Ponyville till we made it to the capital city of Canterlot.

"Didn't you say you wanted to learn to do your art skills here in Canterlot?" the snowleopard Griffin questioned.

"Yes, but what if I get upset? I might set out more chaos in Canterlot like I did in the Ponyville hospital when Dorothy died," I complained.

"That's no problem, just go to the School for Gifted Unicorns," Snowball insisted

"But I'm not even a unicorn, I'm just a rare creature with a unusal gift," I whined.

"Well, Princess Celestia might except you even though your a Draconequus, she happened to know a Draconequus named Discord," Snowball told me.

"Well, will you take me to Princess Celestia?" I added.

"First I'll bring you to the statue garden in Canterlot, that is where Discord is," Snowball contenued.

I nodded and followed Snowball to the statue garden in Canterlot.

"Here we are there's Discord over there." Snowball was pointing at a large statue of a Draconequus who looked simalure to me.

He had a head of a pony, a eagle claw, a lion paw, a snake tail, a goat leg, a lizard leg, two mitch matched horns and wings. As for me I had two small mitch matched horns since I was still the same age as a filly, two mitch matched wings, a goat leg, a dragon leg, a tail of a velocoraptor, a snowleopard paw, a wolf paw, and a head of a dragon which somewhat looked similar to Discord. I can really see the simularities between me and Discord but was curious.

"Why is he a statue?" I explained.

"He was once loose in Equestria spreading his chaos making ponies miserable as well as himshelf then Princess Celestia and Princess Luna stopped him by using the elements of harmony to turn him into stone."

"I've never heard a story about a Draconequus like that before," I murmured.

"Nopony knows why he attacked ponies and made them miserable," replied Snowball.

"I hope I don't end up like him, maybe I'll be no better."

"No you won't end up like that, because Princess Celestia will help you not to be like Discord," Snowball comforted me.

"Thanks Snowball," I mewed.

Snowball and I left the statue garden and went to the Canterlot castle to meet up with Princess Celestia.

Princess Celestia as always was sitting on her throne in the Canterlot throne room when we went in to meet her.

"Oh, you must be Adean, Scardy's adopted sister. You must be here to learn how to use magic" Princess Celestia greeted.

"No, I'm here to learn to be a better artist and writer," I explained.

"True, but Scardy says when you get upset, you spread chaos everywhere," Princess Celestia responded.

"Yeah, that's a little problem I seem to have," I muttered.

"Well, how would you like to be my student to study, writing stories, making art and magic?" offered Princess Celestia.

I nodded.

"I love to be a student of a role model to others," I answered.

I didn't know that Princess Celestia would except me since I'm the same species as Discord and her disliking him. It would've been impossible for Princess Celestia to except a rare chaotic creature such as myshelf  to be her pupil.

Princess Celestia brought me into her classroom to meet up with her two prized pupils. One was a purple unicorn named Twilight Sparkle with her cute newborn baby dragon named Spike. The other was a green unicorn that was my adopted sister Scardy.

"Oh, hi sis, I was hoping you would be here, this is my classmate Twilight Sparkle, she's gotten her cutie mark in learning powerful magic," Scardy explained.

"And I see you got your cutie mark," I muttered.

"Oh yes, the skull and cross bones, which means I'm good at making my original comic the Grave Shift and having a love and passion for horror movies and even Nightmare Night being my favorite holiday."

"Gee I wish I had a cutie mark, but only ponies have them and without one I won't know what I'm good at," I worried.

"Well, other species might get cutie marks, Griffins can have them if they set their mind to it," Twilight Sparkle added.

"Maybe I can find my cutie mark."

"That's a good way to improve on your abilities and help you to use less chaos," Princess Celestia observed.

"Oh thanks  your highness."

The next day I was sent to do an exam on learning to make a sprout  grow into a tree. I was a little nervous that I was in front of teachers besides Princess Celestia. I tried snapping my fingers but nothing happened, I tried raising my paw but nothing happened. I was getting nowhere with this till I heard a explosion outside which came from the little orange unicorn filly Sunset Shimmer practicing on her magic which made her flower grow into a tree. It startled me enough that I finally let loose my magic and made the plant grow into a tree and turned one of the teachers into a tennis ball and the other into a racket. I had trouble trying to use this power till the princess came in to calm down my out of control magic. She put a comfering hoof on my shoulder then my magic stopped .

"Your doing good, Adean," Princess Celestia proclaimed.

"How am I? I turned my teachers into a tennis ball and racket" I complained.

"Yeah, but once I helped you out they changed back and look," said Princess Celestia pointing a hoof out at the small plant that I was practicing magic on.

"No way, I thought I made it too big, it's a thin tall tree!" I gasped.

"That's because your getting better at your magic, you where just confused for a moment when using your magic," Princess Celestia explained.

"Dose that mean I just passed my exam?" I added.

Celestia nodded.

"I think you did a good job so far, I think it's time for you to take a bit of a rest so you'll be ready to study tomorrow, I'll even let a pony teach you art lessons," Princess Celestia offered.

"Thanks, I feel like I'm getting better at my talents already."
