The Lockheart Family

The festivities were alive at Sweet Apple Acres as the newlywed couple danced an upbeat country song. It was a couple no-one would've ever expected. The changeling king, Metamorphasis and Ponyville's resident psychiatrist, Violet Lockheart. Rumours had it that Violet was already pregnant with their first child. Whether that was the reason for the wedding or not, would forever remain unknown. But now, as ponies watched the happy couple, there were no doubts that they would be happy together.

Twilight Sparkle was among the ponies watching, and was one of the few who did not join in the dance. She only watched, a small smile upon her face.

It wasn't long before the sun was beginning to set, and as ponies slowly left, the couple split, Metamorphasis heading over to talk with Applejack, and Violet approaching Twilight.

"Hey Sparkles!" she said in a sing-song voice, clearly drunk on an intoxicating mixture of happiness and cider. Twilight chuckled at her friend, the fellow purple unicorn swaying as she sat down on a nearby chair.

"You seem happy" she remarked, her smile widening.

"You bet your flank I am!" Violet responded, a mild look of insanity and giddiness flashing across her bright blue eyes.

Twilight giggled. "I never imagined you'd end up with a changeling" Twilight said, nodding her head in Morph's direction. She hadn't known the stallion for very long, and something about him seemed wrong, but if Vi was happy, Twi would be there to support her.

"Neither did I, but I wouldn't have it any other way!" Vi replied, standing up from her chair and, swaying as she walked, made her way over to her new husband, and they talked with AJ for a bit, before hopping into the carriage waiting for them, and speeding off to their new home.

The sun had set, and Twilight thanked AJ on behalf of her friend, then walked to her own home, alone.
