The Lockheart Family

It had been a few months since the Lockheart-Changeling couple had married, and they had made a happy little life for themselves since then. Violet's appearance confirmed the rumours about her pregnancy, and Twilight had been one of the first to be told. The newly crowned Princess of Friendship was happy for the couple, truly, although something still seemed off about 'Morphy' to her. She would keep her worries to herself and support her friend, because as the Princess of Friendship, she had to set an example.

A Few Months Later

Violet wandered around town, browsing the shops, stopping now and then to talk with ponies.

"Violet!" called a familiar voice, and Violet turned around to see the familiar flower-mare running towards her.

"Oh hey Roseluck" Violet responded. "I haven't seen you in a while."

"No, I've been busy" Rose explained, motioning to her flower cart that had nearly doubled in size.

Violet chuckled. "So have I" she said, motioning to her stomach, which, like Rose's cart, had also nearly doubled in size. The two friends giggled for a bit, but then had to say goodbye, as customers were beginning to surround Rose's cart, and Violet had to go see Twi.

She slowly made her way to the castle, waving at a few ponies she recognized, finding that it took much longer to get places due to her swollen stomach. She was beginning to work up a sweat! She lit her horn and tied her two-toned green mane into a messy ponytail, and continuing on to the new crystal castle she could see in the distance.

By the time she had reached the castle, the purple mare was exhausted. She knocked on the door, and it was swiftly answered by her old friend.

"Violet!" exclaimed Twilight, embracing Violet in a warm hug, which didn't do much to help her sweating, as Twilight soon realised, pulling away and wiping her hooves slightly. "Its-uh good to see you!" she said, trying not to offend the mare who she had not seen often in the last few months.
