In a gray covered sky near a castle on the mountain surrounded by a pink shield, Guards walk around upon every area of the castle. Ponies other then unicorns were being stuffed into a cage as the unicorns gave them looks as though they were trash. Inside the castle, their were sounds of weapons being made and ponies wailing in pain. And finally in the quietest place in the castle, There was a unicorn in the thrown room of her old teacher, sitting in thought.

She had a purple coat with a purple mane and tail, both with a light pinkish highlight. She had symbols on her left side of her face that almost cover the half of it that give a light glow. She wore a purple pointy hat that had two orange feathers in it. She had a purple cape that covers her back legs will it was connected to a royal purple chest plate that had a symbol of two six-pointed stars between each other one violet, the other black and in the middle of it was a violet crescent moon with a dot in the center of the moon.

As she thinks the doors of the throne room open to reveal a light blue unicorn with a white and blue mane and tail. She wore the same pointy hat as the purple unicorn but this one was black and had a golden buckle on it. She wore a chest piece with the same symbol of the stars and moon but had a capital 'I’ on the front of it and wear a short cap stopping on her flank.

“Archmagister Twilight Sparkle! The Grand Inquisitor Trixie has found something for you!” the unicorn said in the third person and got a questionable look from the archmage but not what she found but the way she barged in. She then heard panting and look at the door to see a unicorn with a creamy Cote color and a brown beehive mane. She had on what looks like a dark blue business that had a white collar with the moon and stars symbol on the end of it with a red tie.

“I'm so s-sorry Archmagister I tried to stop her but she... Persistent.” She said trying to catch her breath and saw Trixie gave her an annoyed look.

“it's all right Raven I'll deal with this from here.” The cream colored unicorn bowed before trotting off then Twilight look at Trixie.

“Theirs better be good Trixie. I hope you don't have that one time a white gold trader told you of the location of the elemental mancer with the power of metal for a have price.” Twilight said earning a blush from the ones show mare.

“T-that was just a little scheme Trixie got caught in but she now remembers never to trust a white gold trader.” She chuckled nervously but a cough to get herself together. “But no I found out something big is going on. Remember that one Buffalo raiders that try to attack one of our slave domes?”

“Yes, some slaves and shapeshifters managed the problem.”

“Well they caught one alive and sent her to Trixie for questionings, and will we managed to get not so good questions she spilled out one of the generals of the earth-born is heading to New Ponyville by herself though she has a lot of security but It is a less defended settlement and if we play our cards right we can capture the general so that traitor Applejack will come out of the shadows.”

Twilight thought on this. “Well she can see through all lies and assassin attempt and their war with storm wing is taking to long to cripple them, who is coming to ponyville?”

Trixie smiled. “Trixie is glad you ask. It is the younger sister and engineer master Applebloom.”

Twilight smiled “with her earth-born won't have any new war machines and applejack will have to send an invasion force after her and will reduce their defenses on their settlements.”

“But what about our losses?” said a voice in thin air and suddenly a green glowing unicorn with a long beard and a wizard outfit appeared to them.

“What are you going on star swirl?” Twilight questions the floating stallion.

“If we do send a snack and grab raid earth-born will not take kindly walking on their lands and even if we captured Applebloom, what then? We may have superior weapons but little troops will be crushed if she sends all she has at us.”

“I'm aware of their strength but applejack is a hot Head. She will be reckless and even if she gets close to Canterlot we will use Applebloom as a hostage and if she refused to listen will break her will.”

“But what off our forces? You will lose countless of them.”

“We will gain more forces when we have earth born in our hooves.”

“Are you heading yourself you're risking everything.”

“It's a risk I'm willing to take. We have been at war for 15 years and neither sides are getting closer to victory. It takes a push to get what you want and I'll make that push. I will show this land of unicorn power and I will bring the reality of the divination.” She looks at Trixie. “Prepare for an attack Trixie, time to show the other houses who is the Masters.”

“At once Archmagister Twilight Sparkle.” She trotted off and star swirl looked at Twilight.

“Twilight please many lives will be lost if you go through this.”

“Many lives have already been lost to this war I'm simply just doing this for the greater good, for those who still believe in the princesses.” Twilight walked through the hallway leaving star swirl alone. He sighed see his ones home turn into this.

“I'm sorry Twilight. I try to give you back but I can't watch you or the others destroy any more lives.” He floated through the walls of the castle. As he passes them he remembered the times he had will he was alive and with the princesses learning new things, teaching them their magic, and watch them grow into mighty and kind rulers. But now that they are gone the ones home he called was now turned into a war driven land bent on erasing each other out of existence. As he reaches his study he grabs one book from the others and opens it to the page that may save this lands.

“I hope this works.” He said as he channeled his magic and focus on the spell.

In the beautiful blue skies of Equestria, ponies were just doing their everyday lives. Pegasus moving clouds and keeping the weather nice and clear. Earth ponies work on fields collecting their crops and doing the heavy lifting. Unicorns learning new spells and sharing with others.
In this land, everypony knew the meeting of friendship.

Soon a purple and green figure flew through the sky as he heads to Ponyville's popular food company, Sweet Apple Acres. As the figure flew he breathed the fresh air as he held a plate of cookies close to his chest and gave his bat like wings a flap. Soon he saw his Target and did a dive boom as he got closer to the ground he did a flip and gave a hard flap to slow himself down and land on the grown on his feet.
He Heard clopping of hooves and when he looked behind him he saw his seven best friends around an apple tree on a red and white quilted blanket.

“Bravo spike. Simply smashing.” Said a white unicorn mare with a navy blue mane and a pink scarf around her neck.

“Yea spike! That was a cool trick!” Said a pink earth pony mare with a dark pink puffy mane and tail.

“He learned that from the awesomeness teacher ever.” Said a light blue pegasus with a messy rainbow mane and tail with pride.

“Maybe one day he might beat your ten seconds flat record.” Said an orange earth pony mare with a brown cowboy hat getting a glare from the pegasus.

“We thought you are late for the picnic.” Said a yellow pegasus with a pink long mane and a bunny in front of her.

“Yea sorry about that these cookies take a long time to prepare.” Said spike sitting on the blanket next to a purple alicorn and a light pink unicorn.

“Well since your here we can get started.” Twilight look to her friends. “I'm glad you all could join us for this get together it has been a long time since we had spent time together more or less talk to each other.”

“Yea it had been awhile since we been taking care of our dreams but it gets lonely if you're not with the people that help you achieve them.” The light pink unicorn said as she bit her apple in her magic.

“Well said starlight. And I like to thank my number one assistant spike for giving this idea.” They all turn to smile with smiling proudly. Spike had grown over the years. He was now 7 feet taller almost to princess Celestia height. He had lost his baby fat to give him a slender and average build body. His scales were stronger than before and had a new set of teeth adding to his first set. He had gotten stronger thanks to the Apple family for working with them and also for big Mac teaching him how to spare.

Finally, he got his wings 2 years ago after his growth spurt. It was not easy with them around at first since he had trouble closing them and hitting stuff. When he got to flying he was teased by rainbow for being the second Twilight but eventually, he was becoming a pro, he even ask Ember for some tips since he remembered her awesome flying During the gauntlet of fire event. He had also learned new things as well. Dearing the winter or when he isn't working at the Apple farm he is working in the Blossom spa with the spa twins aloe and Lotus blossom as their male massages and he is one hell of a masseur. Almost all of Ponyville's mares try to get an appointment with him.

Through good and bad spike just loves his life and would never give it up.

“Well, I thought it be great to see old friends again so why not have a get-together picnic.” The others nod their head in agreement and rainbow raises her cider soda.

“Yea here is a toast to us pales because friendship is magic!”

“Here, here!” They all cheered and start to have fun and enjoy the day.

“Oh, great creators. I ask for aid in this dire time of need. This land was ones a peaceful and happy place but now turn into a divided war wasteland and I ask for a savior of otherworldly skills.” Said star swirl as he starts to right symbols in his cloak on the ground around him as he chants again.

“I ask for a saver will help any being no greater or lesser.”

“I ask for a saver that can defeat an army just by his wits.”

“I ask a saver that will have a voice to change even the coldest of heart's.”

“I ask for a saver that can lead his people and many others to peace and glory.”

As he was done changing the symbol start to glow I. A light green Aurora and took shape of a green flame.

Star swirl look in amazement as it glows brighter. “I-is this it?” He said then a huge flash went off blinding the ghost.

“Heads up spike!” Rainbow dash shouted as she tossed a football at spike.

Spike ran to the ball and cough it. “Ha! Easy.”

“Will see about that.”

The mane 7 plus spike where enjoying their perfect day. Spike and rainbow desired to play a good game of catch will the others did their own things. Twilight was reading a book under the tree, Fluttershy was playing with angle bunny, pinkie was busy trying to catch a parasprite and applejack, rarity and starlight were watching dash and spike.

“Got to say spike has some throwing arm. He throws it farther than Mac throws Winona's ball.” applejack said as she watches spike throw the ball to rainbow will she was in the air.

“I agree darling. Spike sure has built himself to the fullest and may I add handsome along with it.” Rarity smiled and blush a bit as she saw spikes sweaty upper chest.

“Oh, rarity finally realizing your love for him?” Starlight teases rarity getting a larger blush on her.

“W-well I'm just saying he will be a catch to anypony that will catch his eyes on.”

“Yea keep telling yourself that rarity.” Applejack chuckled then saw spike miss the ball and it rolled down the hill.

“I got it,” Spike said as he walks to the ball.

“That still counts you missing spike!” Rainbow shouted as spike rolled his eyes.

“Don't worry I'll catch up.” He picks up the ball but before he was going to walk back he felt electricity in the air.

“What the?” he looked around but didn't see anything.

“Hey, spike! Going to pass the ball or what?” Rainbow shouted at him.

“Yea hang on a-” he didn't finish as a whip of electricity went past his face and soon a green like dome formed around him.

“The hell!?” He tries to get out but the dome keeps him in his place.

“Spike!” He saw Twilight fly to him “don't worry will get you out!” She shouted as she fire a blast of magic at the dome but it bounced off like nothing. Applejack and rainbow try to break through but bounce off like Twilight's magic. Starlight tries to break the shield with her magic but it wad no good finally pinkie pull her party Canon out and fire a present at the dome but it bounced back and hit her in the face leaving a creampie in the present on her face which she licked off.

“It won't budge. What do we do?” Rainbow question then suddenly the dome got brighter until a flash appeared blinding the mane 7 then when the flash was over the seven look to see a burned spot to where spike was and the girls gasp.

“What happened Twilight?! Where did he go?!” Starlight yelled in a panic wondering what just happened like her other friends.

“I don't know but whatever happened we need help. We have to warn the princess.” Twilight said as they nod and race to the castle of friendship.

'Hang on spike will find you. Somehow.’ Twilight though as she worries about her little brother.

In the halls of cantorlot castle, two guards patrolling. One looked at the other and saw a bit on his hoove.

“One of the slaves bit you?” The guard asks his comrade.
“Yea had to take a unicorn foal from her the earth pony filth wouldn't let up. Had to put her down.” The other said with a cold tone and without care.
When the other guard was about to ask something else, they felt a shockwave pass them and a loud explosion. They rush to the explanation and saw within the smoke was a large figure on the grown in the middle of a crater.

“What is it?” The first guard asks as the second one approach the body fanning the smoke away. When the smoke clear it showed a purple scaled dragon with dark green spines and a light green scales on his chest.

“A dragon?” The unicorn feels his neck then look at the other guard. “It's still alive get the Inquisitors.”

“Yes, sir.” The guard ran off leaving the other with the pass out Dragon

“T-twilight.”

The guard look at the dragon in question “how does he now the Archmaginster?” He wondered. “Well, whatever you know the Inquisitors will get it out of you.”
