Splintering Wolves

It was a normal day in the Zebra Village. A young zebra looked out her window. "Mom, why don't we go into the forest." Asked the young zebra. Her mom sighed.

"Gabrielle, you know us zebras stay away from the forest." Answered the zebra's mom. Gabrielle sighed.

"Why can't we mom. Zebras are the ones who make sure the magic of the princess' castle doesn't run out. So why can't we take on an old forest?" Asked Gabrielle. Her mom snapped.

"Because we stay away from the ponies!" Her mom screamed. Gabrielle ran into her room crying. She slapped her face into the pillow. She looked out a window once more. Then Gabrielle decided to do something about it. She packed her saddle bag and waited for her mom to fall asleep. Then she ran out to go to the forest.
