Splintering Wolves

Gabrielle looked back at the village from which she came. "Did I do something wrong." She thought in her head. Then there was a young wolf cub that she had spotted. She ran toward the young cub. The cub was stuck in Forever Sap, which made the young zebra worried. As she tried to help the young cub it growled. Surprised the young zebra got out some of her ingredients to make potions and stirred up a brew. The young wolf whimpered and held up her paw. "Oh you poor thing." Said Gabrielle. She put the brew in a bowl. Then a branch fell into the bowl. She gave the brew to the pup and then a flash of light appeared. The wolf had turned into a branch wolf. The growl was much larger and Gabrielle ran into an old tree.

"Gabrielle my sister you are here. For all must not be near." Said a voice.

"Sis?" Asked Gabrielle.
