“What clause?”

Applejack’s question made Twilight freeze. She couldn’t believe she had forgotten to tell her friends about the foal clause! She giggled nervously. “Apparently, the longer the pony stays a foal, the more foal-like the pony acts…?” She expected shocked expressions on her friends’ faces, and that’s what she got.

“So, wait. You put a spell on our friend and your pupil that causes her to look and act like a foal?” Rainbow Dash couldn’t believe it.

“Yes?” Twilight said, a little sheepishly. Rainbow facehoofed.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. Where’s Starlight now?” The cyan blue pegasus started zipping around the castle, looking for Starlight.

“She’s in her room, playing with Flurry Heart!” Spike had entered and was sitting on his throne, reading a Power Ponies comic book.

“Thanks!” Rainbow flew into Starlight’s room. A shout was heard from the room a little while later, followed by a thud and sounds of fighting. Twilight, followed by the rest of her friends and Spike, ran towards the sound. What they saw shocked them.

“Awe you suwe thwis will work?” Starlight asked Flurry, who had opened the window and strung a diaper to it. They had decided on an escape plan after Starlight told Flurry how she had became a foal. Pushing Starlight in front of the diaper, Flurry nodded and started to let it go very slowly.

“HEY!” a shout came from behind them. Startled, Flurry let go of the diaper, causing Starlight to fall backwards and land on her rump with a thud. She looked up and saw Flurry shooting magic at the now terrified Rainbow Dash, who was flying around the room trying to avoid Flurry’s shots. Starlight channeled the levitation spell, but it failed.

“Wy won’t it work?” Starlight said, shocked. Even as a filly, her magic had been more than adequate. But that was after her magic lessons, so maybe… She didn’t remember much from her foal years, after all. Maybe she was bad at magic then! Flurry finally managed to hit Rainbow Dash, who fell on the ground. Starlight glared at Flurry. “I hwope you did’wnt hwurt her!”

“I did’wnt! I jwust wemoved her wings, now she cawn’t fowwow me.” Flurry replied. Sure enough, Rainbow’s wings had disappeared. Starlight bit her lip, knowing that Rainbow was going to be very angry when she woke up. Then Flurry pointed to the doorway.

Starlight turned toward the door, and there stood Twilight, Spike, and the rest of her friends. Except for Rainbow Dash, the whole crew was there. Twilight, looking down, screamed. “WHAT DID YOU DO?!” The scream woke up Rainbow Dash, who freaked out upon noticing that her wings were gone.

Flurry turned red. “I did’wnt meawn two!” The whole room was covered in foal supplies, the spellbook (Spike had left it there) and feathers from a baby alicorn and a cyan pegasus. Twilight quickly grabbed the spellbook and chanted a few words.

“Mare to foal, make it reverse, remove the clause, remove the curse!” she chanted. A hot pink beam shot out of her horn, surrounding Starlight. Flurry, sensing the beam, flew out of the way. When the beam hit, though, she was startled into putting Rainbow’s wings back on. Rainbow sighed in relief.

“What’s hawpening?” Starlight asked, scared. Then there was a flash of light, and all went black.
