“Are you sure she’s okay?”

“Yeah, she has ta be. Otherwise, Twilight would be screamin’ our heads off.”

“Ga?”

“Ugh…” Starlight got up from the ground. Looking at her friends, she raised an eyebrow. That’s when she noticed that her friends were normal size.

“Guys?” Before Starlight could say anything else, she was tackled by Twilight, who was crying into Starlight’s hair.

“I’m so, so sorry! I just… I just…” Twilight was silenced.

“It’s fine, Twilight. It was fun.” Starlight responded, causing Pinkie to appear out of nowhere and hug them both.

“Ding ding ding ding ding! That’s the RIGHT answer!!!” Pinkie said, smiling.

“What is?” asked Applejack.

“That it’s FUN! Now come on, everypony! Party in the throne room! I call it the Starlight-Gets-Age-Regressed-And-Then-Becomes-A-Mare-Again Party!!!” Pinkie responded, letting Starlight and Twilight go. Then with a “Come on!!!” to the other ponies, Pinkie bounced out of the room. There was a sudden BANG of a cannon.

The ponies ran into the throne room. “Pinkie? Are you okay?! Where are you?” Twilight shouted, scared for her friend. Then they noticed the giant pile of confetti in the middle of the room. Pinkie burst out of the pile and pulled a string from the ceiling.

That’s when tables, chairs, cupcakes, cookies, and other baked goods fell from the ceiling. Starlight gaped at Pinkie, while the others just accepted it. That’s when Pinkie smiled even huger than when she hugged Starlight and Twilight.

“CANNON BALL!!!!!!!!” she shouted, and ran towards the pile of confetti. When she neared it, she leaped into the air and landed in the middle of the pile, causing it to fly everywhere. Rarity had to leap every which way to avoid getting it in her mane; Applejack raised her eyebrows; Rainbow Dash flew around it, delighted with the challenge; Flurry Heart giggled; while Fluttershy meeped and flew out of the room.

“Well then…” Twilight stared at the confetti, which was now landing. “Let’s party!”

Pinkie cheered, and then slapped party hats on her friends’ heads. Seeing Shining Armor and Cadance, who had stayed in the throne room, she placed party hats on their heads as well (placed, not slapped, because they were royalty), and slapped one onto her own mane. Shooting her cannon once more, she shouted, “Come on everypony! LET’S PARTY!”

And thus, the story ends. The ponies will party, Starlight will stay a mare, and Flurry and her parents go back to the Crystal Empire.
