A Dream of Change

Aria opened the door and headed into their house. At first it was eerily quiet until she heard the TV come on in the living room. There she found Sonata watching sappy teen romance shows. While she wanted to immediately start gagging over it, she knew she couldn't if she wanted this to go the way she hoped it will.

She headed into the front room and said, "Hi Sonata, what are you watching?"

Sonata turned around to see Aria with two boxes and a box of tacos. She immediately jumped up and rushed to her sister. She asked, "Are those for us?"

Aria replied, "Yes, they are for us." She looked around and continued, "Sonata, where is Adagio?"

Sonata said, "She is up in her room asleep."

Aria replied, "Good." She sat down on the couch and continued, "Sit down Sonata, I have something other than tacos for you."

Sonata sat down and looked at the two boxes with great curiosity. Aria handed her the box with her gift in it and continued, "Open it Sonata, I hope you like it."

This was something that had never happened before. Aria had never got anyone a special surprise gift. She gave her a smile and opened the box. In it she found a rose, a card and something under tissue paper. She held up the rose and asked, "For me? Is this for me?"

Aria replied, "Yes Sonata, it is for you."

Sonata began to tear up as she had heard what red roses symbolize. She then scolded herself in her mind for even thinking that her sister would feel that way about her. She then opened the card and began to read it,

"Dear Sonata,

I know this may feel strange to you and I know that I shouldn't feel this way but I love you, as in I love you in a way that a sister should not love her fellow sister. I will admit, I have been unpleasant towards you over the years and I always put forth this tough girl attitude and acted like I didn't want you leaning up against me or clinging to me but that was all a front I put up to hide the feelings I have had for you for quite some time.

I love you Sonata, I love you more than you could ever imagine. While I don't show it, my heart skips a beat when you are around and I will admit, I was in a state of bliss last night when you clung to me while we watched that movie of yours. I look back and remember all the times I called you "the worst" but now that I think about it I feel like I am "the worst." I am not sure whether you share my feelings or not but either way, my love for you is strong and eternal.

Sonata began to cry tears of joy as she read this, "Y-you love me? You truly love me?"

Aria replied, "Yes Sonata, I do. Everything in that card are words from my heart."

Sonata clung to Aria as hard as she could and cried, "I-I love you too Aria! For so long I have wished that we could be together!"

Aria too, began to cry, "I love you so much Sonata." She cried a little more before asking, "Sonata, with us being sisters I don't know how you will react to this, but would you be my girlfriend?"

Sonata squealed, "Yes, yes, yes! Yes I'll be your girlfriend!"

The two began to kiss passionately. For them it was a state of pure bliss. Once they broke the kiss Aria asked, "Don't you want to see what else is in the box?"

Sonata replied, "Yes, yes I do!"

She tore away the tissue paper and was shocked but elated over she saw. She saw that not only was the night gown the color of Aria's skin, but so were the bra and underwear. Once she started going through her new items Aria opened hers so that Sonata would see it. Sonata again began to cry when she saw this, "Y-you got me intimates that match your skin and intimates that match my skin for yourself?"

Aria pulled Sonata close, "Yes, I did. I wanted it to be a way for us to express our love and show that we will always want to be part of one another."

Sonata pounced on Aria and began to kiss her passionately. They began to roll on the floor engaged in the most passionate kiss they could ever imagine until they heard, "Ugh....gag, hack hack!"

They got up and saw Adagio standing there at the bottom of the stairs. Aria asked, "Dagi, how long have you been watching us?"

Adagio laughed, "I saw the whole thing!" Her laugh grew louder as she continued, "So Aria, should I tell Nata about your loud moans last night or are you going to?"

Sonata asked, "Nata?"

Adagio snickered, "That's the pet name Aria has for you in her fantasies!"

Sonata turned to Aria and asked, "You have fantasies about me?"

Aria replied, "Yes, I do. I have had them for quite some time but last night's was the most intense I ever had." She grabbed Sonata by the hand and continued, "Want to grab your stuff and I can show you what happens in my dreams?"

Sonata squealed, "Yes, yes, yes! I would love to!"

She and Aria grabbed their stuff and headed upstairs. Before they could get out of earshot Adagio yelled, "I'm going out you two. Hearing Aria call out Nata, Nata for two hours straight was bad enough, I don't want to hear the whole dream!"

The two paid no attention to Adagio and rushed into Aria's room and shut the door. For both Sonata and Aria it was their dream come true. Aria was finally able to profess her love for Sonata and Sonata finally had the love of the only girl she had ever been attracted to, her sister Aria.
