File(01): My new office.mpx

You’re walking through the corridors of what looked like a fancy business building, both sides of the floor had magi-flow energy running through them, almost like they were alluring you to a door at the end.

“Hey, honey. Look what I’ve got,” you say, looking to the digital key card in your brown hooves. You slide the keycard on the door and unlock it, opening it slowly. What you see in front of you is a big room with beige and black walls and a dark red carpet, in the middle of the room was a finely carved wooden desk with the most delicate golden details carved on it and a silky smooth looking chair.

As you sit on the chair, a holographic screen appears in front of you. Synchronizing your Rig with it, you gain access to the virtual space of the room, “Welcome mister Steady Hooves.” you read aloud. “That’s right honey, I got the promotion! Haha!” You cheer, spinning on your chair. “Now we’ll finally have the bits to invest in your shop, honey! You’ll be able to open the jewelry you wanted so much! Here, here look at the view!” You say enthusiastically, running to the window.

You can see all of Canterlot from this height, the neon lights and magi-flow lines lighted up the city with beautiful colors even during sunlight, and in the middle of it all was Magitek, the building was pulsing with magic that fed all the magi-flow lines that powered up the city.

Pointing your hoof to a particular corner on the street made the window give a little zoom on that location. “We could build the shop there! It’s in the middle of the most lively street of…” A big explosion came off the last floor of the Magitek building, a dark purple and black veil of magic flooded the streets and magi-flow lines near it.

“What in Tartarus…”

File(02): Nurse Caring Heart night shift.mpx

The blinding lights of the hospital impaired your vision as you entered the waiting room, lots of ponies were waiting for treatment with weird purplish infections all along their bodies, some infections covered entire limbs. “Miss Lily Valley, follow me please?” You asked, leading her to the examining bed at the end of the corridor.

She followed you with weak hooves, stumbling along the way. You help Lily climb up and lay down on the bed, when she settles in you start examining her back. It was really bad, she lost a lot of fur and her hardened, purple-ysh skin felt like sandpaper. “Were you hit by that magic surge from the Magitek incident, Miss Lily?”

Her expression was blank. You shaking her a little to get her attention, she shook her head from side to side, like trying to wake up, with a pained face she finally replies, “Y-yes… I was…” She let out a little groan of pain, Looking behind her back, you can see the infection spreading along her spine, it was like it was consuming her!

A sudden loud noise from outside broke you out of your shocked state, you rushed to the door to see what it was. When you reach the door, you see lots of ponies running away from horrible dark purple monster killing everypony in the waiting room. You quickly retreat to the examination room and lock yourself in.

“What in Tartarus was that?!” You think aloud.

A cracking noise came from behind you, turning slowly and carefully you search for the origin of the disturbing noise, what you find is a barely recognizable Lily, disfigured and corrupted, walking slowly toward you...

File(03): Manehattan security camera mh 2632-14

“We gotta run, now!” shouted a green mare with dark mane she galloped down the streets, her friend followed soon after, a dark pink mare with a red mane.

“I’m sorry! I thought we had time to scavenge the place!” her friend said, almost on the verge of tears. She was wearing tattered clothing and had saddlebags full of scrap electronics.

“it doesn’t matter now! We need to find a place to stay before night arrives!”

The sun was almost setting. As they continued their argument, the noise attracted the attention of disfigured beings that barely resembled ponies. Their purplish deceased bodies lethargically pursued the frightened mares.

“Oh shit, they found us!” the green mare warned. They ran even faster almost reaching the residential area of the city.

“Oh no…” she said softly. The sub had passed the horizon as the moon began to rise. Their blue magi-flow lines giving shimmering weakly.

They heard a beastly roar behind them. Turning around to see what it was, the withered and clumsy creatures following them became frenzied, emanating a dark purple aura that danced in the moonlight.

The mares turned to run, but the creatures charged them, pinning both to the ground as they open their mouth and began draining their life essence away, leaving only withered and corrupted husks of their former selves.

Author's Note

And here's the little intro, The story will remain mostly from a third person point of view but it will jump into first and second person from time to time, mostly during a virtual reality recorded scene such as the ".mpx" files (it stands for "Media Player X", think about it as a mp4 file that works as a virtual reality )
