Luna gazed at the stars, her stars, thinking to herself. Things present and past. Her mind eventually settled on her old love.

Sombra.

She hadn't been able to get him off her mind since his most recent defeat and the pain of it clawed at her heart. She shouldn't of missed him, but Celestia, she did anyways. All she thought about was what if.

What if she was there when he reformed?

What if she convinced him to join her side?

What if she joined his?

A lone tear dripped from her right eye and her sclera was tinted green. Tiny wisps of purple smoke floated from her eyes.

"I just want to see him again," She whispered to herself, "Just this once..."

As her eyes glowed with Alicorn magic, she was thrown into a world of eternal darkness.

Luna opened her still glowing eyes only to see pair of crimson ones staring back at her.

"Why are you here!?" The stallion of shadows yelled, "After all you've done to me!"

"Do not act like I was in the wrong Sombra." Luna replied.

"King Sombra, you mean nothing to me anymore, Luna."

She winced at his words, "I... I know, I just wanted to see you again." Her confidence wavered.

"Seriously, Luna? You can't fucking do this!" He berated her, "You can't just show up and say you still love me! After you've reduced me to this pitiful state no less!"

He turned into shadow and dove into the ground, resurfacing behind her and leaning his head towards her's, "We could have built an empire together, Luna. We could have ruled the world!"

"You were wrong Sombra! You were terrible to your subjects, you had to be stopped!" She shouted back

"Just like when you were Nightmare Moon? You're no better then me!"

"I changed Sombra, I've left the past behind me."

"Yet you were too weak to do it yourself, weren't you Luna? I know what happened! You created the Tantabus to punish yourself, I feed on hatred, Luna. Self hatred included, and I can still feel some of yours."

"At least i realized my mistakes and was willing to atone for them!"

Sombra growled, "I hate you, Luna. Yet I still love you after all you've done and I despise it!"

Luna was shocked at that, frozen until the King tackled her, pinning her legs down. "You could've been my queen, Luna! We could have had everything!"

"Sombra, I..."

His eyes glowed pure green, "For fucks sake Luna! I missed you! You think I liked having to fight you? We could have taken down your sister together!"

"I didn't want that! I love my sister!"

"And yet you betrayed her so, so easily!"

"For You, Sombra!"

The stallion paused, "What?"

"One of the reasons I turned was because a part of me wished I'd joined you... I was going to bring you back."

Suddenly a pair of gray lips were on hers, kissing her roughly and passionately.

"I'm here now Luna, and I know exactly what I'm going to do with you now."
