Sweetie Belle and Rarity were sitting at the table during dinner at Carousal Boutique as it was dinner time and Rarity was eating her food. Sweetie Belle sat there picking at her plate while not eating anything. Rarity noticed this and wasn't happy about it. Her sister needed nutrition and she wasn't going to get it if she didn't eat her food.
"Sweetie Belle eat your meal. I cooked it and everything so don't waste your food." Rarity said. Sweetie Belle continued to pick at it. She really didn't want to eat it which frustrated Rarity. Rarity had no idea why Sweetie Belle was being difficult.
"I don't want to eat." Sweetie Belle complained. Rarity sighed to herself. She wondered why Sweetie Belle was refusing her meal. She thought about what to do as she ate hers. She shrugged and spoke.
"Well you can sit there while your food gets cold. I want the plate clean Sweetie Belle. A growing girl needs nutrition. Our parents will be displeased if they hear about you not eating. You could starve yourself and I will have to take you to the doctors. Eat so that doesn't happen." Rarity said.
Sweetie Belle thought about what Rarity said. She glared at Rarity. She didn't think it was fair. She didn't want to eat and that was her position. She crossed her arms as she sat at the table. Rarity shook her head in annoyance at Sweetie Belle's defiance to not eat.
"Alright then. We will just sit here all night if you won't eat. I want you to eat. Your getting me upset. Eat your food now." Rarity said in a slightly raised voice. Sweetie Belle sat there in defiance. Rarity was losing her patience with Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle just glared.
"Sweetie Belle eat your meal!" Rarity ordered a bit more loudly. Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes. That escalated Rarity's temper. Rarity was losing her paitence. Sweetie Belle needed to eat so she wasn't going to starve on Rarity's watch.
"Sweetie Belle there are starving children in Equestria that are poor and can't afford food. Your lucky that you have meals provided to you daily so you should be stuffing that mouth of yours and be grateful that I'm able to provide for you! Eat your meal right now Sweetie Belle!" Rarity yelled.
Sweetie Belle was starting to get upset at Rarity for yelling and at her meal. She wanted to stand up for herself but that could get her in a lot of trouble. She continued to refuse to eat which upset Rarity.
Rarity shook her head. She stared at her own plate as she thought about what to do. She didn't want to force feed Sweetie Belle as that would be to cruel but she needed Sweetie Belle to eat. She thought over her options. Her first option was to have Sweetie Belle sit there until she ate her food. The second was to force feed and the third was to let Sweetie Belle go.
She was in a tough position and her sister put her in that position. She was really mad at Sweetie Belle for refusing to eat her meal. Rarity wanted Sweetie Belle to eat but was unsure what the right choice was in this situation. She was getting extremely angry.
Finally she couldn't take it anymore. She took Sweetie Belle's plate and threw it across the room and flipped the table over and screamed. Sweetie Belle backed away quickly in shock and ran up to her room. Sweetie Belle cried as she slammed her door shut. Rarity breathed heavily as her outburst subsided.
She looked at the mess she made and groaned while she began to clean it up. She wondered if that was the right way to act. She didn't know what else to do aside from screaming. She finished cleaning the place up and walked to her room and slammed her door shut. Sweetie Belle was shaking in her room while she was scared at what happened.
Sweetie Belle was not expecting her sister to react like that. She didn't know how else to defend the fact that she didn't want to eat. Her sister scared her when she did that. Rarity was never like that but she guess that Rarity was so angry that she went berzerk.
Sweetie Belle wondered how she would deal with what had happened and she would deal with talking to her sister after it had happened. She was to embarrassed now to talk to her sister about it. She didn't want to apologize as it wasn't her fault and that she just didn't want to eat and was telling the truth.
Rarity didn't want Sweetie Belle to starve. If Sweetie Belle was telling Rarity she was hungry then Rarity would give her the same meal and expect her to eat the meal and show her appreciation. Rarity wondered if she was doing the right thing. She didn't have any other ideas of what she could have done.
Rarity decided on what to do. She let herself calm down a bit more and then went to Sweetie Belle's room she knew that Sweetie Belle could still be upset at what had happened but Rarity needed to tell Sweetie Belle the deal. She entered Sweetie Belle's room and Sweetie Belle listened to her while she wiped away her tears from crying earlier. Rarity spoke.
"Here's the deal Sweetie Belle. If you don't want to eat what I give you then go right ahead. But if you start to become hungry later then you will come to me and I will give you the same thing I was giving you before. That's the deal. I'm sorry for acting like that earlier." Rarity said.
Sweetie Belle nodded as she didn't mind the deal Rarity gave her about meals. It worked for her. She looked at Rarity and responded to Rarity's deal with full acceptance.
"Fine then. I'll accept that deal. I forgive you." Sweetie Belle said. Rarity nodded and they both hung out for the rest of the night to make up for how Rarity acted towards Sweetie Belle.
