The Story Of Nat

A massive bang shot out across Equestria shocking anypony that heard it. A large orb shot out of a black hole in the sky. Flames ran all along it leaving a grey streak in the sky. BOOM! A massive explosion rose up from the Everfree Forest. There sat a massive crater and what remained of the massive sphere.

"Ugh, what happened" came my voice from the wreckage.

"I knew I should've checked my calculations. Then again, I could just use magic to get here, but where's the fun in that?" I said to no one in particular.

"Why does my voice sound so different?" I asked myself looking down to see my body.

I saw a quadrupedal black horse with two tattoos on its flanks and an ethereal flowing tail that looked like the stars in the sky. The tattoos were crescent moons on a dark blue splotch. Protruding out of its head was a horn the size of Las Vegas. Two large wings stuck out of my back.

This was interesting, I had never been to a dimension that changed my form.

"What?!"

"How'd it?"

"Well, I'll just..."

"Wh..."

"Where are my powers!?"

At that moment I looked up to see a huge black hole looming in the sky.

"Shit."

At least it's far away in space and not close by. That must be my magic! It must've been pulled out of me when I came through.

"I'll just send a dimensional portal request to my realm."

"Seriously, have I lost connection to my realm as well!?"

This day just kept getting better.

May as well go off to find the locals and see if they knew anybody who could make an inter-dimensional portal. Otherwise, I would have to gather materials that most likely didn't exist here to make an artificial one. Or this dimension would descend into chaos and fall apart as my magic consumed everything. All that would be left would be me and my magic.

I soon found out that I could still use magic but not as powerful as needed to leave this dimension or change back. Walking was hard and it took ages to get anywhere. I would keep falling over or tripping up on a branch.

MEANWHILE

A guard came rushing into the throne room.

"Princess Celestia, an object just fell from the sky and crashed into the Everfree Forest!" The guard said gasping for breath.

"Take me there at once we must see what has landed," Celestia asked in a rushed tone.

"As you wish, your highness."  The guard replied heading off to prepare a chariot.

Finally, I was beginning to see light coming above the trees.

I hope it's not too far.

As I was ambling down away from where I crashed I saw a flying chariot overhead.

A sign of advanced technology, I'm saved! Well at least from many years of boredom.

As the chariot started coming towards the ground I realised that it was actually just being pulled by Pegasi.

"Damn it! At least there's sentient life."

As it landed a large horse thing that also had wings and a horn stepped out. It let out a large gasp.

"Nightmare Moon!? How are you here?!" It yelled in surprise.

"Lady, I don't know who this Nightmare Moon character is, but I am a god trapped in its body and unless someone is able to open up a portal to a different dimension, this one is going to be destroyed." I blurted out.

"What?" She asked in shock.

"Yes, that black thing up there is my magic until I reestablish a connection with my realm it will swallow everything whole."

Celestia knew Nightmare Moon wouldn't be smart enough to come up with something like that, even she couldn't understand half of it. And it was right, there was a black spot in the sky.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm looking for a being with immense power, I must be going," I said getting ready to go.

"Wait!" Celestia shouted.

"What?" I asked.

"How do I know that you are not Nightmare Moon?" She said giving me a glare.

"You're probably just making all of this nonsense up."

"ENOUGH! I am a GOD you dull creature and I will not be bullied by th-"

KABOOM!

The explosion echoed throughout Equestria as I was hit by a ball of pure energy.

"Uhgg, my head. What happened."

I opened my eyes and looked at where I was. Shit. I was in a hospital. This had never happened before. The last time I ever went was before all this happened before I had become whole. Back then when a small part of me was trapped in a nonmagical human body. All those years of research had finally paid off when I broke the barrier. Soon after that, I realised that I had been scattered across space and time. I made myself whole and became a God. I never had to go to a hospital as I would instantly regenerate but it would be hard to hurt me in the first place.

"That FUCKING BITCH!"

I was mad now. I honestly didn't care that much but because of all that had happened today, it just pushed me over the edge. I swear, when I get my powers back I will trap her in an infinite time loop and kill her over and over again. But how was I to get my powers back? It would take forever to make an artificial portal and I hadn't sensed anybody who could make one magically either. Aha! I could summon one of the Elements of Insanity. Hopefully, I could remember the incantation. Welp here goes nothing.

"Triangulum, entangulum. Meteforis dominus ventium. Meteforis venetisarium!"

"Egassem sdrawkcab!"

"Egassem sdrawkcab!"

"Egassem sdrawkcab!"

"Egassem sdrawkcab!"

"Egassem sdrawkcab!!!"

What. No. No! NO! NO! This can't be happening! This had to be a trap. A cage obviously set up to keep me here forever. Mark my words whoever is up there:

"I don't know who you are..."

"I don't know what you want..."

"But I will look for you..."

"I will find you..."

"And I will KILL you!"

As I could not store all of the information I knew in one form, I massive artificial brain to store it. Sadly I could not access this as it was in my realm.

Princess Luna entered the room.

"What is thy business here Nightmare Moon?!" Luna said with a growl.

"Oh not this again, I thought I had already explained I wasn't her!" I sighed back.

"I thought the Element bearers defeated you not long ago." She continued on, not caring what I was saying.

"Wait. Are you talking about the Elements of Insanity?" I asked curiously.

"I have no idea what you are talking about but I mean the Elements of Harmony." She replied.

Where had I heard that before? If only I wasn't trapped here.

"I am not Nightmare Moon, seriously ask me any question."

"Alright, how did you get here?" She questioned.

"Well, I was travelling dimensions with my machine when I crashed in the middle of some forest. I then discovered that I was in this body without my magic which is currently being stored above us in space." I explained.

"Strange. My magic is telling me that you're telling the truth. But what you said sounds impossible." She said with a surprised expression.

"But whatever shall we do about it?"

"All I need is a very powerful being or lots of materials that probably don't exist," I replied.

"How powerful exactly?"

"Powerful enough to travel dimensions."

"I'll see what we can find, in the meantime, you should get some rest." She said leaving.

Oh well I'll just wait till tommorow.
