The Fall of Cloud

NightShade seemed different to me almost as if I lost my affection for her. Of course that was not true, it couldn't have been. "Cloud?" She said "you seem puzzled" she added. "I was thinking... about Ashen, about you, about me" I said. "It's almost as if when he left my mind I forgot who you were" I said. "Who exactly was he?" I asked "subject eight, he was... he was something" she said "he was a friend, not really anything more than that" she added. "NightShade, I know when you're lying" I said, she grunted "I cared for him... he was one of the last ponies we made before we started using PFL program. Most of the ponies we created before we used the PFL program died of a disorder that takes the blood and pushes it slowly out your body" she said. "So you were made when they created the PFL program?" I asked "if I wasn't I sure as hell wouldn't be here now." She said, I didn't feel right "NightShade, do you think you could leave my room for tonight?" I asked. "Oh, I guess I could" she replied "could you also ask Snow Piercer to come in here I want to apologize to her" I said. "Sure" she said leaving my room, I passed out on my bed. I awoke to Snow Piercer sleeping beside me "oh fuck, did we..." I felt dizzy and sounded drunk. I fell back asleep, this time I awoke standing in the middle corridor, the fire alarm was sounding and the sprinkler system was running. I had NightShade and Aurora backed into a wall. "Cloudy please..." NightShade whimpered, she had blood dripping off her into a pool of crimson beneath her and Aurora. My eyes grew heavy and I blacked out yet again, I awoke in the meadow outside of the compound. I turned and pounded on the doors "hello?" I yelled "anyone in there?" I added "poor poor Cloudy" I said "doesn't know what he did or whom he did" I added "Pierce you fucker what'd you do?" I said "oh me... I didn't do anything, it was all you." I said "you also figured out where Chrysalis is going next" I said "where is that exactly?" I asked "Canterlot castle, she's going to kill the princesses, they're all going to be there before sundown so I suggest we get moving." I said "I will not" I said "I don't think you have a choice" I said. My eyes rolled back and I saw the familiar blackness that had consumed me. All around me I heard ponies clapping, my eyes opened and I was standing before princess Celestia and Luna standing on a stage. Look around you Cloud, what do you see? I heard in the back of my mind, it was Pierce. All these ponies clapping for their princesses, princess Cadence and Twilight walked out from the curtain and stood beside the two sisters. Maniacal laughing was heard from above, I turned to the sky and saw Queen Chrysalis. She landed on the stage in front of Celestia, she blasted her with  bolt of green energy. My body lunged onto the stage "Cloud, what are you doing?" Celstia said addressing me "Cloud?" Chrysalis said turning to me "how are you still alive?" She asked, my eyes started to close but I wouldn't let it happen again. "Hello there... Chrysalis is it?" I asked "my name is Pierce" I added. She blasted me with the same fiery green bolt that turned me into nothing but ash before. "You said I couldn't be the changeling ruler, but you don't know how much more of a changeling than any of your servants" I said, my coat slowly turned to red and my stature grew. Something came out of my head "you cannot destroy me so easily anymore" I said shooting a white bolt at her. "Cloud, you're not supposed to see this" I said, my eyes felt weak and I fell back into the black nothingness. I awoke to ponies screaming, I had red on my hooves and I was standing over the badly beaten and near dead princess of Equestria. My hoof crushed her skull "no" I said softly. I didn't see any of the other princesses around me. "Behold your new King of Equestria" I heard somepony yell. I turned to see Chrysalis applauding me, what had I done. "Pierce what did you do!" I yelled "Pierce!" I screamed, no one answered.
